It would have to be per person asking and not per request or her hair would either trail off the map or fill any room she's in. (There's a forum regular with a bit of a fetish about animated hair.)

Quote:Reread. i did not say it increased your max endurance, just that it granted endurance equal to 10% of your max endurance when it fired. You recognize the difference, yes? (Admittedly i did not state it quite as explicitly in the post. i thought it would be apparent from the structure of the sentence and the discussion of the proc. An oversight on my part.)No, the Performance shifter grants you 10% end as recovery, not to the Max. I think the only things that increase your Max are acolades.
Edit: Grrr, that's what i get for replying before reading the second page of the thread. Master-Blade already covered the matter. Rajani also pointed out why i like slotting the proc in addition to other recovery boosting IOs. -

Quote:215 is a bit absurd, but it should be easy easy enough to hit 120+ Endurance with set bonuses and accolades.Who in the world has 215 endurance? End is almost always 100 regardless of level. There are accolades which can bump this slightly (I believe to 110), but I don't think there's any way to get to 200+, particularly not on your average build.
Wasn't the Performance Shifter +end Proc changed to grant 10% of your max end? -
That's not always true. Many of my characters had groups of 12 or more mobs appear around them without any warning in the old Hollows. i had a low level WS get faceplanted in seconds by having over a dozen +4 Outcasts suddenly appear around him as he was resting. It's always been a rather rare event outside the old Hollows, but it can happen on occasion.
What's interesting is that spawning and despawning distance for critters is sometimes less than the draw distance, so you see a group fade in/out/or be replaced by a different group as you approach. -

Quote:"Want to make a small fortune with horses? Start with a large fortune." While i like horses well enough, and worked as a farrier for a while, i've never been much of an equestrian. The rest of my family on the other hand....As for horses being evil, I owned one for 15 years and they ARE evil. You love them, and they come to love you. But they're evil, as in completely and totally self-interested. This makes sense from the horse's point of view, true; you as the owner work around their deadly self-interest and this is what makes owning them fascinating.
That, and their beauty. But they're evil, not least to your bank account. Bring money. A horse'll cost you plenty.
i'd expect tentacle limbs and mouthparts to part of a "Monster Pack" if they ever get added at all. i think the currently hypothetical Animal Booster will be a selection of fairly realistic animal heads, feet, and textures. Hopefully more animal foot boot models for non-digitigrade legs. Possibly some details like antlers. i expect that if a new power comes with the pack it will be at least as useful as Shadowy Presence. (Incidentally, has anyone found a use for Shadowy Presence? Even as a way to show off the non combat pets have more versatility.) -

i think i know who used most of them. Sad in a way since it means i never received the "benefit" of seeing them used.
Personally i don't worry about maximizing rewards except to the extent that i use them to enhance my fun. On some runs i'd rather get inspirations than salvage or recipes since they directly fuel the path of destruction i'm carving through the mobs. -
Quote:That was my thought as well. Even if ED makes the gain tiny why not take that extra percent? Why wouldn't you just use the EndMod in the set? That power doesn't benefit from the Rech and Acc. I guess with the other set you use, the overall difference might not be much, but it seems kinda silly to give yourself a lower value of EndMod on purpose.
Most of my builds add one slot to Health and Stamina and then call it good. i usually end up with multiple +max End and +rec bonuses from other sets anyway. -
i usually just add one slot to Stamina and slot the Performance Shifter End Mod and +End Proc IOs.

Done, done, aaaannnd... done.

Quote:Quite true. Although Death Stars are apparently rather limited in their maneuverability. Of course this is all rather silly since the technology bases are so different in the settings of Credomar and the Death Star.Targeting planets is easy since they rarely change direction or even leave their solar system. Death Stars move on the whim of their commanders.
Credomar exists in a setting with nearly instantaneous interstellar travel (the teraport) to literally any point not within a teraport interdiction field (aka Teraport Area Denial/TAD) and instantaneous communications channels that can even be used for intergalactic communication.
Death Stars exist in a setting where it takes hours or days to travel interstellar distances, and communications are a bit more difficult to maintain across several light years.
The whole thing is just as silly as Enterprise vs. Death Star battles. (Although in that case the Death Star has a clear advantage.)
Credomar is the pinnacle of pants-soiling weapons technology in its setting because you just have to know your target's position for however many minutes it takes to charge and fire. Say, by having a sensor equipped drone within a couple light-seconds of the target. The emergence point of the beam can even be an arbitrarily chosen point inside the target. (It was used to take out a cruiser by having the beam emerge inside the prow and exit the stern. Mostly because LOTA wanted to avoid annihilating the planetoid that the cruiser was docked with.) Hell, one dedicated volunteer with a communicator near or inside the target would be enough for a firing solution. -
Quote:Nope. Praetorians don't unlock any of the Primal EATs. The only way to unlock those archetypes is to level a Primal native hero or villain AT to 20.oh man, I didn't know you can't unlock them if you're praetorian, I thought it only based on the archtype you put to lvl 20 wether it was a villain or hero archtype. I was looking forward to being an Arachnos Soldier (Their powers and skills fit my concept of a hero/villain better).
Oh yeah, if I went to Villain side once I'm done with Praetoria, can the game see it as a villain archtype and unlock the epic archtype? -
Quote:i should point out that i never said i was on the homeworld.*Waits for Schismatrix to finish moving in then sends him a welcome to the planet gift basket and a holo-recording that says . . .*
Dude. I have a
DEATH
STAR!
What do I need a homeworld for?
Goodbye Schismatrix
i'd much rather be somewhere near the firing controls for Credomar. Credomar has a beam system similar to a Death Star except that the beam is routed through a spatial discontinuity so that you don't even have to be within light years of the target. You don't even need to be within the same galactic arm as long as you have target coordinates. -
Quote:Just to be clear, this forum section is: "Player Questions Got a Question? Get an answer! Players helping players find information related to CoH/CoV."Just a question I have. Will we ever be able to invite our own alts to a SG/VG? Perhaps using the in game e-mail system. The reason for the question is I have a storage box sg where I store IO's and salvage. I would like to be able to get a few more of my alts in the storage box but currently cannot unless I invite someone else to the SG and give them invite privileges. Which can be done but if none of your close friends have alts to put in the storage box. Your kinda stuck. I have a lot of alts and some I rarely ever play but do not want to delete them as I do Like them. I'm just an altaholic and when they reach 50 and you can only keep so many in an active sg so they can continue recruiting and allowing new alts in they end up in limbo with no home and no access to Base Teleporters or Med Bay's. Sure I can email my salvage, inf, IO's, recipes to my alts now which is fantastic, but what do we do with our sg-less alts? I thought the e-mail system could make a good model of allowing you to invite your global alts on the same server to an SG/VG. Just a thought, would like to know if this will ever be possible.
Basically all that is needed is the capability to issue SG invites to characters that are not logged in. Can or will this ability ever be added? The answer is that at this time no player knows. -
Depends on the server. Virtue raids start when the zone fills, which tends to be a bit before the listed start time, but they usually do 3 to 4 raids in a row (alternating between Hive 1 and Hive 2 for each raid), so it's not that bad if you miss the first run.

I really like the look of this costume meself, and the way the movie seems to be turning out. I'm pretty sure that by the time The Avengers rolls around Cap will have a fancier outfit for modern day superheroics, but as a period piece that costume is perfect.Quote:Oh come on. Anyone can mix up their booby trap manual with the cookbook. No-one really died... CPR was administered, the longest anyone was "technically dead" was 3:51.
Honestly, I don't know how these rumors get started. It's not like people end up hospitalized and missing limbs every time I decide to throw a little soiree.Quote:You can't keep harping on that one time no one was maimed. That was pure luck and you know it. Like Olympic judging, we throw out the high and low scores.

Quote:Oh it's quite noticeable in almost every thread where they get mentioned for any reason....
Given the number of sexy cat-girls that are currently strutting around in game (and no one complaining about them that I've noticed)...
Casual denigration of catgirls is a norm in CoH. Usually for more humorous than malicious effect, but there are number of posters who ascribe every conceivable moral failing they can think of to anyone who plays a catgirl or any other animal-featured character.
i have a couple hybrid critters myself and have a more XKCD view of the matter. -
Quote:It's a bug related to how flying mobs are spawned according to the discussion about it several years ago. Not all Sky Skiffs are immune to -fly, but the ones spawned in TV are notorious for it.You get this from killing sky raider sky skiffs.
When I quit playing a few years ago it was pretty common than most controllers could drop things that fly. stone cages are a good example. You could pair up with most controllers and head to Terra Volta and knock this badge out in no time. The other place you can go is Striga Isle and skiffs there are special and no matter how high they fly they are really on the ground so anyone can kill them.
The game was changed so that the Terra Volta skiffs don't drop from the sky when stone cages ( or any other type of controller cages ) are used on them. For the life of me I can't figure out why they went out of their way to make this change. I mean really, why don't we make all of the PI Fake Nemesis float 30 ft in the air whenever a controller cages them... it's really the same principle isn't it? This change seems to hurt controllers most where their pets do most of their damage. Just getting a jet pack doesn't get the pets into the air. To make quick kills with my controller I would have to pair with someone that has the group fly power.... and we all know someone with group fly right?
Now for my question...
Why did they think this change was needed and why did they bother doing it? -
My sign is now the guy walking away from an explosion without looking at it, with an explosion. i'm okay with that.
