A great big PHONY.
The floating swords? Lies. They're actually invisible broadsword scrappers. If you hit them w/ the right powers (rad and snow toggles are good for it), you'll see the invisible bodies.

Unknown what mobs they were dropping off of; definitely not heavies though. Have gotten one off a bomb.

Know you can get them from Rikti Invasions, haven't had a chance to join a banner event or zombie uprising since I19.

I hate to think how useless mastermind pets would be on that fight, never mind controller pets. And then of course the screw that melee people take... My tank, though, seemed to have a lot better time on that fight; could just have been a hit points issue.
Really hope they adjust the nanite swarm part of the encounter. Just not finding it reasonable. -
Augustine is 45 min to two hours, GP.

Quote:No problems on my bots/traps.... Just hit her with a ranged shot then run around a corner and wait.Given she's a ranged fighter, it was hard to get close to her to deply stuff like Poison Trap. I may have got unlucky with bots KB not tripping when I needed it (wouldnt suprirse me, Sods law and all). Also, once she slapped me with the Curse it made things a helluva lot harder, especially when my A.I. stupidity enabled bots ran out of the FF gen shield, and promptyl got eaten by her one-shot-pet-kill grenades.
Z, that sounds like her energy Bayonet. Those things are nasty, and she is an EB after all.

Quote:Holtz has very poor mez protection and no kb protection at all. I can't see how anyone could have a problem with that. :0Completely as an aside here, but I find it mildly amusing that, while most people seem to have the Honoree as the challenge, it was actually the reverse for me. He didn't aggro until much, much later, and then was relatively easy to best for my Bots/Traps.
Holtz, on the other hand, proceeded to spank any bot outside of the FF Gen bubble with her one shot grenades, and Alpha himself got mauled pretty roughly by the Curse of Weariness, which I didnt see coming at all.

Eh. Had no problem w/ my en/en blaster.
While you can just outright drop the mission, just set it to -1 your level, snipe full the EB's one at a time, then beat them down. -
Just run one of the TF's that drop a component as a reward choice.

Saw a claim in the bug forum on this that not finishing the into to Cimeroa arc can bug this for you.

Wait, what? Seriously, the ****ing Midnighters unlock has something to do with that?

I'm up for it. Only have it unlocked on my mastermind right now, but working on my tanker now and then going random.

I view the unlocking kinda like unlocking v-merits; kinda retarded but the benefits outweigh the time in the long run. Only one mission is really annoying to me (stupid jerk hero-one) and it's droppable.

Quote:Yeah, that's why everyone spends their evenings in game fighting grey conned mobs instead of doing task forces or general missions... BECAUSE IT'S JUST SO GOSH DARNED FUN.One can never defeat enough Rularuu peons for brunch! Thank goodness I have Fly on my Defender though, I'm awful at jumping around in the Shadow Shards :S Looking forward to seeing you all on Saturday!

If time permits, we also could use this as The Committee to Fix the Hole in the Floor of the Terra Volta Reactor, or CFHFTVR.

All 27 or so level 50's, alpha unlocked wooo!
Not a single one slotted yet, though.

Quote:That would be kinda a neat option/setup, actually. Just give people (obviously) the option of choosing.I have to be honest - I was disappointed I couldn't change all of the other Rad attacks into eye beams.
