If you run Titan Sentinel, and have a City Info Tracker account, your Inf total is visible on each character. I think there's a way to see your own account-wide total, but I'm not sure about that.
For example, see my main here. His Inf total can be seen on the left, a few lines below the picture. -
Adeon is correct. The old Posi TF is "The New Recruits". The WST is "The Rule of Three", part one of the new Posi TF.

Quote:I see one glaring problem with this. While that person is within the Deflection Shield toggle radius, a Deflection Shield will always be on him so long as the toggle is running. If that person is stepping out of the toggle radius, or the buffer dies, the Deflection Shield will expire after 4 minutes (or however it is meant to be). Of course, it is renewable once that person steps into the toggle radius again. All the FFer needs to do is to run the toggle and perhaps manage his Endurance. He can then be more engaged into the trial/tf/sf/mission. Also, on a side note: buffing roots the buffer down regularly. Nevermind being tedious and laborious, it is just not fun to be in a fast pace trial/tf/sf while being rooted down every so often. (that reminds me of a Apex tf with my kin. Being rooted down while trying to SB my team got me kill more often than I actually trying to fight Battle Maiden.)
If the power were set up like this, there would likely be a Self -end effect each time a person is affected (cf. [Repulse]). That portion of the power is unaffected by Endurance Reduction enhancements.
In order to have the shield instantly recharged whenever you're in range (or soon after), the power would have to pulse every 0.5 to 2.0s.
Let's assume that you're on a trial with 14 other people - one of each AT - and they all stay within range of your bubble. The bubble pulses once every 0.5s and drains 0.1 End from you per pulse per target. Assuming that each character has as many buffable pet powers as they're capable of taking (7 for the mastermind, 5 for the Arachnos soldier, one each for the Controller, Dominator, and Blaster) plus one Patron pet for each AT except MM and one Lore pet per character, that's 63 targets (at least! I may have missed some) - plus you and your pets. That's 12.6 End drained from you every second. I don't care how good your recovery is, you will be flatlined in under a minute if you use ANY other powers, and in a couple minutes just by running this one toggle, even if it's "free" outside the "per target" cost.
Even on a normal team without such a ridiculously massive number of pets, the end cost would be prohibitive. -
I suspect that the money sinks will not be used often enough to have an immediate effect, but will, over time, affect prices.
Whether that effect is to reduce inflation, balance it out, or even reverse it, I cannot know. But the more money sinks that are added (that people want to use), the more inflation will be combatted.
In my experience in WoW, where money sinks are plentiful, and frequently used, inflation still occurs. So long as every character is granted a free money printing press on character creation (ie, the ability to defeat foes and create money from nowhere), new money will be created, and inflation will occur. -
Quote:No they're not. The "EPIC ARCHETYPES UNLOCKED" popup occurs the instant you have enough XP to be level 20. It is in no way related to training.Actually, no. I'm afraid that HEATs and VEATs are unlocked the instant a character trains to level 20.
Quote:I'm also unsure if getting to 20 with a Pretorian unlocks both sets of EATs. -
If it were a level 10, you MIGHT get 3 bil for it. I don't think it's sold at 3 bil at any level in quite a while.
Lower your price, and it might move. -
I have nothing to say on this topic.
Agge already said it all for me. -
Quote:1- I have never, EVER recruited a healor for any task. Ever.Stalkers are stripped and deleted.
I play HEALZORS now. Everyone loves HEALZORS.
2- I have never turned down a stalker for a task. Ever.
3- I would always take a debuffer over a healer, any day. Ever.
Hm. That didn't work so well on the last one. Oh well. -
The Suggestions and Ideas forums isn't just for in-game suggestions. Suggestions for the forums go there too.

I'd use the Going Rogue forum, since that's for "everything related to the Going Rogue Expansion", and you can't be an Incarnate unless you have GR.
However, Player Questions and Archetypes and Powers are valid places too, depending on the nature of the question. -
You could be right: I was going by memory. However, the rest of what I posted still stands, and even if the DDR was 0, the defense would be better than not having anything to fall back on when your main formof protection fails - And /SR really has no backup plan.
-
The best powers depend a lot on your preferences and playstyles.
For example, a lot of people would disagree with me on this, but on any defense-based SS brute, I would recommend picking up Hand Clap to use as a panic button - defense failure sucks, and it applies a strong enough taunt that they'll come back. Once your defense is high enough that you don't find yourself using it much, respec out. But at the low levels, it's helpful.
For Energy Aura, I'd recommend getting all the powers, except maybe the godmode (I usually just get the Demonic accolade so that I have a godmode at an earlier level for free). Don't take the autopowers right away - the clicks and toggles will do more to keep you alive right away. Add the autos when you have a spare power pick and nothing else to take, but get them - they're very helpful.
For SS, get KO Blow, Rage and Footstomp. The rest is at your option, but I recommend getting at least one of the weaker, quicker single target punches, in addition to your level 1 power - You don't want to sit around with nothing to do while waiting for your big powers to come back.
For travel powers, Fly, Speed and Leaping all are good options. Air Superiority adds a nice quick punch with handy side effects. Combat Jumping adds some maneuverability in combat, and some +Def to stack with your secondary. Hasten brings back key powers like Rage, KO Blow, Footstomp, and Energize quicker, and the stealth from SS will stack with Energy Cloak to give full Invisibility when you want it.
For non-travel pools, Fighting is a no-brainer. You might not need Boxing or Kick, but Tough and Weave stack nicely with your existing armors, and you should have the End to run them easily, once you get Power Sink. Likewise, Leadership powers can be handy, but Maneuvers gives less +Def than Weave, and Assualt isn't super useful to a brute, considering their low base damage. some people would tell you that Medicine is needed. I don't like the pool that much, and you already have a heal, so it's up to you if you want it. Concealment might be useful to put Luck of the Gambler +Rech in, but you have several defense powers already, and concealment doesn't stack with Energy Cloak (which is better anyways). Presence is a stinker for brutes. I wouldn't reccomend it.
For epics, you have lots of choices.
Soul is an all-round favorite. Gloom adds a strong single target attack, and Dark Obliteration gives you a little more AoE. And Darkest Night not only helps you and your team survive longer, but the debuff encourages enemies to stick to you, which is a good thing for a set lacking a taunt aura.
Electric is also popular (especially with farmers, but not only) because it adds two AoE attacks - Electric Fences and Ball Lightning. Just remember that Fences will nullify the Knockdown in your attacks, and KD is one of your sources of survival.
Energy Mastery is excellent for brutes, since it has Superior Conditioning and Physical Perfection, but an Energy Aura isn't likely to need End management.
Pyre Mastery adds the best AoE in an epic pool - Fire Ball - but you need to pick at least two other powers first. Fortunately, there's good powers before it, so it's not too much of a sacrifice. -
Looking at it from a different angle than everyone else:
/SR will get you high defenses (easily softcapped) but your only resistance will come from Tough (if you take it) and the scaling resists. And you'll get no +Regen outside of Health (which /WP will also get).
/WP will get you some +hp and Res(all) out of a single autopower, and a good chunk of S/L resist to stack with Tough. Heightened senses, Weave and Combat Jumping gets you good F/C/E/N def, and you'll have all sorts of places to slot Kinetic Combat and Reactive Armor for S/L def. Plus, if you have them, you can put a Steadfast Res/Def and a Glad Armor +Def in the default slots of HPT and your godmode. You'll only have 50% def debuff resist, but most other sets have the same amount, and when it fails on you, you'll still have all that Resist and Regen to fall back on.
TL;DR: Different reason, same answer: go WP. -
Noble Savage has already hinted that muscular textures for females are on the table. How much work has been finished, or how soon it is added to the game are, of course, unannounced.

I don't think they'll make the new trials a WST - that would be kinda like making the Cathedral of Pain or a Hami Raid the WST, it just wouldn't seem right. Now if you meant the new TFs, then I agree, that's what I was expecting too.

The timeframe for the unsubscribe was 24 hours. It's been weeks since I unsubscribed.
I do have inactive accounts. I used to run two accounts, and when the prestige grant happened a couple years ago, I created two trials to pad my SG. Now, I only maintain one account. I don't plan on paying for them just so I can log in and unsub a newsletter, and I don't know any other way to access that option. -
I don't know. I'm sure someone will come along and tell you, but if not, you can use a Power Analyzer Mk III (I don't think Mk I or II will work on mitos), or Surveillance from a Bane Spider or Blaster (Munitions Mastery pool) to check for yourself.

For the longest time, I had the same issue as many other players: No matter how much I verified my contact information, and checked my spam filter(s), I never got any of the NCSoft/City of Heroes newsletters.
Then, around Issue 17, the problem was fixed; I was suddenly receiving the newsletters as they came out.
Shortly afterwards, I started getting duplicates of the newsletter, usually 2-3 copies, spread out 15-30 minutes apart. After receiving FIVE copies of the last newsletter (not today's, but the last one before it), I got fed up, and hit the "Unsubscribe" button. I do want to get the newsletter, but I don't need it in triplicate (or more!).
Today, I got two more copies, even though I got the confirmation email saying that I was unsubscribed.
How do I make it stop, or better yet, how do I make all but one of them stop? -
Others have already answered your question. In case what they're saying seems too incredible to be true, check out this thread from a while back.

I can't recall where I saw it, but there was a redname post saying that i20 was going to ship with a freespec, and that a second would be given out sometime around the anniversary event.

I don't know either, but if you can't get an answer, go into the game and monitor your hold protection when you're not protected, and let someone mez you. It'll change to a negative value when you're hit, and your protection has to be enough to bring that back up to 0 or higher.
Any custom critters from AE, or most of the new Praetorian enemies use player powers, which are typically mag 3 for mezzes, so it won't help with them, but it still might for older enemy groups. -
For the badge: You don't. There are 13 moral choice missions in Praetoria. At the moment, you have to get to 5 of them before leaving if you want it. However, if you look closely at the badge hint, it mentions Flashback in there. I suspect that they plan on adding Praetorian missions to Ouroboros at some point, or possibly a special Praetorian Ouroboros zone.
As to the return to Praetoria: No. Praetorians get different mission text in some of the new missions from native Primals, but at the moment, there is nothing special for Praetorians once they've left Praetoria. In the future, maybe, who knows...? -
Quote:No, cross-server play would dilute communities, by intermingling the existing ones, and then spreading them thin.My primary server is Triumph. It is one of the least populated NA servers. I know players on Freedom, Virtue, Pinnacle, and most of the rest of the NA servers. Cross server play presents a chance to build communities. Isolating servers does the opposite.
Quote:The quote I posted wasn't about resources, it was a standard reply to something they couldn't do at the time. The same type of reply was made for side switching.
Ultimately, when it comes to programming though, it's all about resources. -
On the Hero side of the dance floor is a big ramp. Behing the ramp is a portal that leads to Studio 55 in Imperial City. If you have trouble finding it, the door is marked on your map. However, I believe it's an icon type that defaults to off; you may have to open the dropdown on your map and turn it on before it shows up.
