All of my stuff was fine, and new things have been listed. It's slower than normal, but I expect it to speed up fairly quickly.

So, I just pulled up my farm map and started running through it to get some Tips. About halfway through, I remembered that SC was nerfed. On a scrapper, the reduction in damage output is barely noticable.

It's one of those pet or pseudopet powers that CAN do that much damage, IF they hit with every tick of damage - which they never will, except under the most unlikely of situations.

Sometimes, hostages can be hurt by enemies' AoEs, even when the enemies can't target them. In these cases, they can be killed, and if the mission has no failure conditions set, you end up unable to complete them. I think that the mission you're talking about is one of those.
Your only options are to /petition and wait for GM help, leave the mission and reset it, or use the auto-complete function. -
This. I can softcap a /SR stalker off level 50 common IOs, plus a Steadfast Unique. For any other /SR toon, I need to add a set of Gaussian's or a Gladiator's Armor +def or one set each of Mako's Bite, Scirocco's Dervish and Touch of Death. The Glad Armor method is ridiculously expensive, but the rest are really cheap, compared to trying something similar on a set with little or no native defense.

A quick Google search for that .dll turns up:

Any time you are in an indoors mission, each section of the map can spawn at the level of your difficulty setting, oryour difficulty +1, with the exception of the room flagged as the "Back room", which is usually (but not always) where the final objective is; this room is always +0 to your difficulty.
Since the level split is random, it is possible to get missions that are completely +0, or everything but the Back Room at +1, or anywhere inbetween. You just got hit with a streak in the Random Number Generator.
Note that outdoor maps aren't broken down into "rooms" like indoors ones are. Because of this, outdoors maps are always full of enemies set at your difficulty level, with no +1's. -
I don't know if there's a way to find this out before release, but (other than alpha and Omega, which are part of the Complete Collection) do we know which of the new sets are part of i18, and which are part of Going Rogue?
I won't be buying GR for about a month after release, so I'm curious which (if any) I'll have access to on Tuesday. -
I'm curious about the "Jetpack Code". Is that just the $5, 30-day jetpack booster?

Quote:I think you're missing one important point: Everyone who wants an A-Merit from their morality mission doesn't get one on their first run, they get 50 R-Merits instead. So if they want their A-Merit, they have to burn 20 mil to get it. Or they could wait 2 days instead, and run another mission. But if they did that, they'd have one A-Merit, whereas someone who converted the original 50 R-Merits would have 2.Considering the fact that reward merits are needed for this - a typical TF for a level 50 toon might generate between 6-14 million. The actual inf. Removed may be in the 3 trillion range sure, but it won't all be from the current pile of inf. available. I'd say it will only burn half of what you might expect.

MrTogo has an interesting idea. I'll experiment more later, adn see if I can find a pattern to what's happening so I can submit a proper bug report.

Quote:You might want to actually take a look at your binds, either by dumping the entire thing into a file with /BindSave or using the /ShowBind key, because /InspExecName doesn't work the way you think it does. It requires the full complete name, the same way that the power slash commands require the full name of the power.
I just double checked my making a bind using insight (/bind Numpad0 inspexecname Insight) and bought some Insights and some Keen Insights. The bind use the Insights and didn't use the Keen Insights no matter how many times I pressed it. Next, I change it to Rage (/bind Numpad0 inspexecname Rage) and bought some Enrages and some Focused Rages. Using just rage in the name would not use any of these inspirations.
Your binds are not what you think they are.Quote:Key f4 binded to: inspcombine awaken enrage$$inspexecname respite$$inspexecname break free$$inspexecname luck$$inspexecname sturdy$$inspexecname catch a breath$$inspexecname enrage$$inspexecname insight
Actually, the only ones in there that were used that shouldn't have been were a Phenomenal Luck and a Keen Insight - No instances of ones with completely different names being used that time. But my binds ARE what I think they are, and they ARE doing what I claimed. -
Without pulling it up, my bind is some variation on
inspexecname insight$$inspexecname rage$$inspexecname luck$$inspexec sturdy$$inspexecname respite$$inspexecname catch a breath
When I need a boost, or want to clear my tray for better inspirations, I just mash the button until it stops using insps. After doing this, I often find that my buff bar includes 2 or 3 stacks of red and yellow insps - one for each size it used.
Here's the really weird thing: When I used the bind just a short while ago, I watched a Resurgence disappear from my tray. And it's not possible that I bumped a different key and used it; I have NO binds that use T3 insps, nor binds that execute an inspiration slot (I unmapped them all). It should be impossible for me to use a T3 insp of any sort, save the oddity with "overlapping" names. I have NO idea how it's using T3s that aren't named - in full or in part - in my binds. -

Quote:IIRC, use the full name of the inspiration, replacing spaces with underscores. For example, use Insight, Keen_Insight and Uncanny_Insight to differentiate between small, medium and large.
Problem is, if I have "Insight" on my bind, and don't have an Insight, but I do have a Keen Insight or Uncanny Insight, it will use the larger ones, instead of skipping the small Insight and going on to the next item in the list. -
I have a pair of binds, one which has /inspexecname commands for most small inspirations, and one that has the commands for most of the mediums. When I get into a tough fight, I mash one or both to automatically eat a huge pile of insps. Problem is that it seems that "Rage" and "Insight" appear in the names of multiple inspirations, and I often find myself eating inspirations I hadn't meant to.
It there a way to make it so that "Rage" and "Insight" only refer to the small inspirations, and not any that have that string in their name? -

No, they're not weapons. Or at least, the game doesn't handle them as one. They're power effects, like the aura from your toggles, or the projectile from your blasts.

There is a way to create polls in vBulletin. I just checked, and it is disabled on this particular forum.

Quote:Technically, the Jump Pack from GvE doesn't grant any jump - If you check the real numbers, it adds +Fly. That's why it speeds you up if you use it while flying.Assuming TopDoc's is not out of date it's capped at a bit over 217 ft.
With the Jump Jet from the Good Vs Evil goodies it's way beyond that and in most zones you will hit the glass ceiling. Exception is if you start in the lowest part of the pit in the Hollows, I don't think 30 seconds of JJ will get you to the zone's ceiling.
To see if I could find a cap, I loaded Mids' and created a Kin Defender. I gave it Sprint, Hurdle, Super Jump and Inertial Reduction, and 6-slotted all of them with level 50 common Jump IOs, and turned them all on. Mids' reported a 504.6 ft jump height, but did not report it as capped. This is way above the ceiling that Father Xmas mentioned; I suspect that if you ever get to the Jump Height cap (which I suspect is impossible without outside buffs), you'll find that you can't jump that high anyways.
EDIT: For anyone who cared, these powers and slotting granted a 208.8 mph jump speed, which capped at 78 mph. -
Quote:That just means that instead of having the only two of a specific item, you have (had) two completely Unique items.Only in a bit of an oddity, it's not a level 29 Common Damage IO. Somehow they gave me a level 28 Common Damage IO.
That makes them worth even more! -
Notice how some windows have a blue dot in the left corner, opposite the X?
If you click that, it will unpin the Mail window (or whatever other window you click it on), allowing you to move it independently from the parent window.
I've never had the problem you're experiencing, but the people I know that bave, have solved it by unpinning the window. While it's unpinned, you still open and close it with the same button, it just floats separately.
