Quote:I think... you may be mistaken...
"You're going to answer me," she growled at the human, "if I have to w-r-i-n-g the answers from you with my bare hands!" and darted up the hallway with Trix. -
hmmm never mind.
I thought maybe kangaroo's might work, but apparently they are plantigrades. -
Something like kneeling would be done differently, where they wouldn't been on their knees at all but resting back on their heels and possibly leaning forward down between their knees.

Quote:Pumpkinhead
Keep away from Pumpkinhead,
Unless you're tired of living,
His enemies are mostly dead,
He's mean and unforgiving,
Laugh at him and you're undone,
But in some dreadful fashion,
Vengeance, he considers fun,
And plans it with a passion,
Time will not erase or blot,
A plot that he has brewing,
It's when you think that he's forgot,
He'll conjure your undoing,
Bolted doors and windows barred,
Guard dogs prowling in the yard,
Won't protect you in your bed,
Nothing will, from Pumpkinhead.
The second film, though poorly received explained that an old backwoods witch had a deformed son who was often tormented by the local boys and they called him, wait for it... "Pumpkinhead". They teased him, he died, she buried him in an old pumpkin patch (a la 'Pet Cemetery",) cast a spell, and summoned him as a vengeance demon.
EDIT: And as for how the actor stayed upright? A crane (depending on the scene.)

Quote:Well that's even sillier. Frivolous reporting of threads and posts is against the rules, isn't it? So why isn't frivolous reporting of negative rep? Even if there isn't a specific rule, I believe the mods certainly would take action against someone reporting everything. I'm aware that there's some shaky ground to be found within, but this isn't a democracy, mod word is law. I'm gonna take a guess and postulate that the mods have their guidelines already set. Frankly I expect people to know the difference between, say, "Condescending and knocking over those strawmen as usual, I see" and "Dreams of your horrible and painful death linger pleasantly in my mind", and if they don't it's high time they learn. Heck, even idiocy such as "lol u suk" isn't worth reporting.
Such a dumb system. It's one of those "fine idea in theory" things. In practice people are either too thin-skinned (Wah, someobody said something negative to me), or WAY too thick-skinned (It's all a big joke so I'm gonna ride it into the ground).
Pretty much how I see it, Primal.
Agge, I agree that the rep comments not closing down and staying closed in the UCP was broken, though it doesn't make my comment any less true. -
C. W. Bennett is best known as pohsyb, or The Backwards Bishop.

Quote:Unless you MM was above them in the hierarchy.Angels don't have any reason to leave "Insert Location Here" unless they're fighting the legions of Hell. Even then, they're still utterly loyal to A Higher Powerâ„¢. They would take you on as an ally, not a master. At most, you could justify it as an army of Guardian Angels.
Which, for an Archetype that starts off Neutral at best, is unlikely.
Quote:Demons have always been much more prominent in CoX. When the game was released there were a multitude of dark powers and character customization options, yet nothing resembling an angelic counterpart.
Personally I take it as proof that America is, indeed, the great Satan.
And America is not Satan, Primal's avatar is Satan...

Quote:Actually, if you find a rep comment that should be reported, click the 'Report' button on your own post, and mention the comment in the report.Speaking of rep and all...
How should a person go about reporting abusive/offensive/inappropriate rep comments to a moderator?
Quote:Note: I only advocate reporting negative rep comments in violation of forum rules and guidelines, not reporting every single negative rep comment wholesale.
As for it being work for the mods - they put the system in place, I have zero sympathy for them receiving alerts about legitimate violations of forum rules and policies that occur in rep. -
Quote:Actually, the succubus' thighs look too long to me.That mecha looks more like it was based on a dog's hindquarters than trying to make humanoid digitigrade legs. The succubus is better.
Pumpkinhead always seemed to me to be a good example of digitigrade, if only because the size of it allows for a proper length of the metatarsals to offset the length of the human actor thigh and shin. -

Quote:If you are having an issue with the graphics adj slider crashing the game, run CoX in 'Safe Mode' (theres a check box next to the 'Accept' button on the second page of the launcher.) Then go to your graphics options, you should be able to safely adjust them.I've got a Dell Inspiron 1545, and for the most part, it runs CoH Very smoothly. However, It insta-crashes when I go to monkey with the graphics slider, and, as the subject states, I can't see the contact photos. Is this a consequence of running CoH on a machine that, to my knowledge, has only software graphics enhancement, or is this a Win7 thing? Any help would be appreciated.

You're welcome, I'm glad it worked for you. I had to do that back in Beta for Ultra Mode. So it's the first thing I mention to try.

Very cool, Suichiro. They have a very 'iconic' look to them, and it really is amazing how so little can still invoke a link to an immediate recognizable character.
