Sad thing is I think the OP made the comment and stealth edit deliberately. I'm guessing he wanted someone to petition him, and then did the stealth edit hoping it would look like he was being picked on. He just didn't count on being thwarted by getting quoted.

You have to remember Forbin, no one here is his intellectual equal...
We can all be grateful for that... -
Seeing as how Bill didn't do it, I will.
MA Tutorials - An extensive Mission Architect tutorial, written by the poster above.
*toots horn for Bill* -
1. You can update to a full account at any time.
2. As far as what has occurred since you last played, ParagonWiki had a Issues Timeline of everything that been added.
3. Yes
As for you laptop, was it able to play it at all? If it's playing, but struggling with the graphics, you can always go into Option in-game and adjust down to where you can at least enjoy playing.
Oh, and welcome back! -

It's because you put the '@' symbol in there, Glub. -
I'd love to, but I would still be at work for a couple more hours.
-
Not sure if Angel has done this one or not, but I'm game. (If she has, and there is a waiting list, go ahead and bump me.)

Like these two links within your post, I get Forum not found. -

People like you contribute nothing to the community because apparently if the majority disagrees with something initially, it is always wrong.

Pot... meet kettle. -
Are you rushing the bank as you would with a Safeguard Mission? As Memphis Bill said, you can succeed doing it that way, but more often than not it will end up in team wipes, especially with PuGs and no communication.
Check out ParagonWiki's Mayhem page, for the time bonus' you get for destroying object, completing sides, etc. -
It took me a couple of times to realize that once you select a Power Pool ability, that the Training selection screen goes 'back a page' so that you then see your selected Power Pool ability, as well as your available Primary and Secondary powers.
At that point you need to remember to click on 'Next' (or 'Accept') in the bottom right corner, to actually gain that ability. -
There are some really great designs and stories coming out of this little swap-meet!
I'm going to have to put my name into the hat for the next round. -
Well said PK.
(And yes, it's still going to be PK, unless you want me calling you TP.)

I love doing the mayhems, destroy everything and everyone, do the side missions, then hit the bank.

Hmmm... and I got 6 different threads...

If I search "in subject and body" I get 200. Nevertheless, I don't get anything recent other than this one.

Hence the whole...

4. Click the "In subject" radio button. This is a search, not a cute blonde in a bikini. Here, you want to ignore the body.

Did the exact search Bill described just now, even copy-pasted his search terms. Got only one thread. This one. BS indeed. Ignore these folks, but be thankful, they're bumping your thread.

Everyone gets a travel power at level 1 - it's called "Sprint". It's a good way to learn aggro range and see the city.
Plus what the others (especially Lothic & M_B) said.

MMOs are like methadone. They give you a controlled low level dose of gaming that makes it easier to say no to the hard stuff.

Great analogy - I agree 100%
I've noticed that the pace of my new game purchases has slowed drastically since becoming a CoH player.
I'm much choosier about what I pick up, and when...I, too, will wait to pick up a game on eBay when it's down to half what it was at release.
In fact, right now I'm awaiting the arrival of Far Cry 2, which I got on eBay for $12.99.

This is so true, I have at least one PC game sitting on my shelf, never installed, because I picked it up shortly after starting CoX, on my laptop I have Civ4 (which I've not played in 6 months, and Morrowind (and all it's expansions) untouched for even longer.
Although, if another Morrowind comes out, that just might pull me away from CoX, if only temporarily. -

I wonder if I'm ignored for that comment about player notes or the mini fridge...

Considering the other names on the list, LISAR, it seems that anyone that disagrees with Ares, and back up their point of view with any sort of intelligence, is on the list. -
PK, the Dr. Q TF links in your post are no longer available.

Mine was checked, I unchecked, rechecked, and Updated just in case. But there is definitely something out of whack with the delivery system.
-
Fortunately, with TheFrog sitting inside the portal redirecting traffic, the used kitty litter end up in Freedumb.

I would, and Angel would love to have the badge, but unlike her, I actually work.

Stock answer #1: There are no healers in CoX.
Stock answer #2: You don't need a healer in any case.
Question of my own: What do you consider a healer? WHat powers does an AT have to take? Are you limiting it to empathy defenders, or can, say, kinetics play too?
[/ QUOTE ]
This.
There isn't a healer AT in this game and I hope there never is one.
[/ QUOTE ]
Indeed.
And as for SStingrays comment:
[ QUOTE ]
Healing is an important part of what defenders can do.
[/ QUOTE ]
Umm... No. I see the one, single power in my kit bag that heals, as being the least important ability that my Kin has. -

I always give grammar feedback if I feel the arc will benefit from it, and I try to be as specific as possible (though sometimes it's difficult with the character limit on the feedback field).
But I don't always downrate for grammar issues. I used to be more of a perfectionist, being used to printed materials, but I reset my expectations after some experiences with typos and such getting into the MA due mainly to its weirdly laggy editing behavior.
Only if the grammar/spelling issues are enormously distracting do I actively downrate. I do up-rate for well-formed turns of phrase or clever voicing, but it's possible to earn a 5 from me without those in play.

Well said, Keep. This pretty much says it all for me.
