Desktop it is then. Just another question now; is there any point in just installing a new graphics card to my PC? It runs the game fine on minimum, but it's easily five years old at this stage.

Cya around, Pious. We'll hold down the fort at The Worn Cover

I give you; Disco Tech.
Disco Tech is a new project funded by the Paragon City government to aid lowering the levels of street crime in those most humane manner possible. The DT-109 is a sentient robotic lifeform which is capable of producing an insanely high decidability.
The DT-109, also known as Disco Tech has been trying to bust Crey for years, but hasn't been able to gather enough allies with the same motivation as himself. Even most of the PPD resources he has are redundant due to this. With a decent ally, Disco Tech would glady watch Countess Crey's empire crumble. -

That poster REALLY makes me want to play this! If I get a chance tonight I'll give it a whirl!

Quote:Oh, well. Looks like I'm going to have to try a bit of search-fu. Anyway, thanks for that!I'm guessing going to be the same as what laptops with the GTX 260's are running at right now. As far as I can research, the GTX 260 is the most powerful mobile chipset currently being sold.
(that and I don't know how badly the Ireland markets jack up relative prices for new hardware.) -
Quote:Any estimated price on that?Probably not. the mobile Geforce GT240 is basically a rebadged, die shrunk, downclocked version of the 9600 GT...
If you were searching for an Ultra-Mode compatible computer, start looking for laptops with the Nvidia GTX 260M, or wait for the game to launch, and you should be able to find a laptop with one of these GPU's: http://www.amd.com/us/products/noteb...y-hd-5800.aspx -
So, I've been laptop shopping and came across a nice little laptop which seems (to me) a good choice, but I've been wondering: can it run Ultra Mode?
If not, can you refer me to a better one? -

"I knew it was too good to be true! The 'prolonged Winter Event' WAS a Nemesis Plot!'
-
I think this is a good idea, just make the zones open for all to explore, but the content in the zones only for people of 'X' origin. Of course, other origins could join in.
-
The fact that my head asploded reading the makes it a Nemesis Plot
Good thing spoons aren't a Nemesis Plot. -
I've managed to get both Globestomper and Offworld Outlaw recently.
-
Congratz on the Dev choice!
-
Of course it's a Nemesis plot! You know those fumes off the marker? That's not just marker fumes, but the mind controlling gases of Lord Nemesis! The next thing you know, you'll be promoting them to your friends and then they'll be brainwashed as well!
Good thing electricity isn't a Nemesis Plot. -
Unless we get Thriller, I ain't /signing this
-
No. There's a reason why they only happen once a year' so people still have an incentive to go for the badges and participate during the event.
-
I think with some reworking this it could make a pretty good Blaster Secondary
-
I think PvP zone contacts should pop up a la Midnighter and AE contacts.
-
Of course it is, you, yourself, said that Stavros has a connection with Nemesis, but what you didn't know is that he is actually a Nemesis Automaton who is using being controlled by Nemesis to exteeeeerminate us all!
Although, tea can't be a Nemesis Plot! -
I actually like these suggestions, except for getting rid of PvP zones. I think that one's a bit annoying, especially with all those lovely badges and artwork. Revamp them into PvE or PvPvE zones? Then yes!
