That's my plan for after Christmas, I sorta need a break. Got Tekken 6 L4D2 and hopefully a couple others to bide me over for some time

People going about their daily affairs when suddenly there's an explosion off in the distance and all of a sudden the business man getting his morning paper bursts into flames and flies off; the taxi driver eating a beagle turns into a giant stone golem and lumbers off into the distance; a young family walking in the park stops, the wife kisses her husband as her eyes begin to glow with electrical energy. The scene fades and you see the City of... logo and under it, it says "Where Anyone Can Be a Hero!"

    I can only dream
It'd be make me buy the game!... Again!

It got even worse when he dropped an Orob portal right in the middle of a group of people; at least one got caught by the thing. I also petitioned him (and I know many others did), and begged them to send a GM to sort it out.

They did. 5 mins later there were TWO GM's in Pocket D, and the "tool" vanished. A buddy of his a little later said that he'd been banned. Not sure if I actually believe that or not, but if it's true.. HA!

So, yay for the GM's. Thank you very much for resolving the problem!
    Hoorah!

This is probably the first post I've seen from FFM in months and it brought good news

I told him a bit about this and he seemed interested. Especially after I told him this had been around for a lot longer with more content etc.

    So... /Signed.
    Good work, Thorny

I agree though, we need more advertisement. Especially with GR on the horizon.

Hell yeah. Keep the current options there are as well.

A lot of work went into that suggestion since I had to create pet for every TF/SF and GM then provide a power description to it. Ended up with something like 20 non-combat pets that were all earnable though ingame actions and were an additional reward besides badges.

Avatea did pass the suggestion along to the devs during her weekly 'this is what the EU is thinking/suggesting' info dump but sadly I heard nothing more of it and it's doubtful we will.

Here's a link to that very topic

    It's still around...nifty!
That was the one! My search-fu is weak so I couldn't dig up a link.

They're not the same, unless you want the chain connecting both nunchucks to stay static. The Mace and Dual Blades are static when swung, the Nunchucks with need a flow, which is rather hard to code and animate.
  9. A good way to avoid this, I find, is by joining a nice RPSG and RPing the the SG base. Although, I will admit that Pocket D is also fun for RP.
Just ask them to stop, petition and leave it be.

A small black portal opening in midair and a fist comes out to punch someone? Goofy, but awesome.
Sort of like that game that's being released? (The name escapes me, but it's developed in Japan and involves guns and the main character's stilettos)
  11. I have to agree with the Comedy Arcs, my only exception is satirical arcs because I like satires. What more can I say?
  12. Your best ignoring these people as much as possible, as I know it's annoying. People seem to find something alien about roleplayers which they think is exploitable in the form of harassment because of "lulz rp".
  13. This reminds me an old suggestion on what used to be the EU Forums before the merger.

For defeating AV's you'd get little non-combat pets such as Bitesized Babbage, Uk'on Pr'ple etc.
  14. I'd love if you could play my arc, The Fall of Rapture (299507). It's been recently renovated so I want to see how it shapes up
  15. -Lack of Custom Character bios

    -Overpowered bosses

    -Walls of text.

-Repetition. I hate when an arc basically repeats the exact same mission criteria as the first one.

-Lack of originality in Customs. I hate hate HATE when people use the pre-made, stock costumes instead of making their own damn ones! It just makes an arc seem shoddy and half-arsed.

-Plot holes. I hate not being filled in on things or not being good reason for my actions.

And i hate Nazis being called nationalistic, as they were obsessed with race and religeon, rather than nation and state.
Actually, the reason why Hitler was motivated is because he felt Germany got the short end of the stick in the Treaty of Versailles and he wanted to build back up Germany's reputation and make her a proud nation again. The Antisemitism was because he thought that 'sub-human beings' would contaminate Germany and slander her pride.

    Help!

Did you get stuck underneath Talos Island as well?! :O
  18. No thanks, I'd rather the bidders, marketeers and everyone else not lag up my social RP zone.
  19. The Fall of Rapture (299507) needs a bit of feedback

  21. Would love if you could review mine, One Too Many Lines Crossed.

I need to know whether to keep it up or not
  22. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, Doc! Have a good one and thanks for all the work you've put into helping and supporting the AE Community!

I think this trumps the godwin of the OP.

Very good input though, and I hadn't looked at it from that aspect. The 'Psychic Friends Network' does seem a bit like the Praetorian SS.
