Which half the time can be useless (maybe not aas bad, now) as it stacks four/five times TOTAL, not per player.

The old friends thing I have no clue, but for the friends no longer there - try contacting them, and when you are both online, if they still have you, have them remove you and then re-add.
That's what I recall of a similar issue in the past. -
Quote:I believe that you'd have 33.3 instances of the Positron TFSuppose there are 100 people in the LFG queue waiting for "First available", and nobody putting themselves in the queue for anything specific. What happens? Is everyone stuck waiting until someone comes along and selects something specific?

if you are not a loyalist, he won't be in your contact list.
To actually switch sides, you will have a choice mission ( do this for loyalist, or that for resistance - each one will be a solo only mission) at the end of pretty much every contact as I recall.
As I remember it, the contacts with missions where you have a choice to call are all the either side contacts - so Responsibility Loyalist arcs and Warden Resistance arcs. -
Quote:Hmm, wierd - you should get the points ON the bill date 0.oPetition.
I had the same issue last month and let me tell you...it was the first time in 6 years that I have felt effed with by support.
I petitioned on Jan 5th, my billing date was Dec 29th. The first response was sort of a canned one, pretty much making me feel like an idiot that didn't have a clue.
The next response was very adament that I had everything I should, that my points were awarded on the 25th of December and that my token came a day or two after. I cied bull...you-know-what, but in a tactful manner. I told them that no, I didn't have either things, that the only tokens I had received in December were the ones that I earned by buying PPoints.
2 days later and I have my point. Support was all silent and then boom, points. Still no token. I ask them again, I have the points, thank you, but still no token. They try to tell me that I probably earned it while playing, and then it became...you might not have loggd in for a while so therefore missed having it. Um...I log in daily, sometimes multiple times. I don't think I'd miss it. =P
I tell them again, I do not have it, I log in daily, please stop taking me for a fool. The next morning: Oh! It looks like the earlier reps didn't have a clue what they were talking about! You should have your token now! I log in after that e-mail and what do you know...a token. >.>
My bill date is the 29th, I received my 400 PPoints almost 5 days ago...still no token. If I don't have it by 5th of Feb I will just petition again. There is a thread about this in another part of the forum, and many people are saying that they have to petition every month just to get their points and token because they aren't coming in at all.
As for the date of your token- if you haven't unsubbed since Freedom, it should be on your "veteran reward" date (but monthly) - so before your points. With he transfer being on the first.
If you can wihtout messing up your billing, I'd say let it lapse after the loyalty program ends, if that's something you are after, and let it go for a day then resub and see if that fixes things for you. -
The 100% chance for regen debuff seemed to help on our MoLambda runs vs Marauder (didn't have it the first run, did have the the latter two)
I was also on a MM so that would of helped stacking it. -

Quote:1 - The LFG system already doesn't care if all your leaguemates are in the same zone. For the time being, however, I think two minor changes would help greatly: eliminating the requirement for all members of a league to be in the same zone for the trial to start, and make the LFG channel a global chat channel that everyone can converse on.
2 - I believe you mean teammates, which the system currently does care if they are not in the same zone. it's the next thing they are working on for the queue system - they've said this and also mentioned it's harder to do than the letting people enter instances.
3 - The LFG channel would be nice. -
The stun one kept applying to self, yeah, was the issue.
Note the specific issue was this was happening with Invincibility style taunt auras - auras with effects that affected both self and hostile characters.
I thought they cheated on the Energy manipulator Stun proc and just flagged it to not affect players (or did they do that and then switch later?) -
I believe it's included in the Spring Fling pack as well

Quote:Penelope Yin has merely manipulated existence itself once or twice, why would she be there? That is much clearer. I still don't think it's clear just who that is (though her placement does indicate she's important and not just a random hero like most of those along the sides), whether or not she's with Longbow, and whether that's skin or tights (that last bit mostly because the colors are so de-saturated.)
PS I wonder why Blue Steel got stuck back in the nosebleed section.
PPS I don't see Maria Jenkins in there and she's supposed to be one of Statesman's oldest friends. Maybe that's her in her old Madame Danger outfit. It still fits!
Blue Steel is not, by lore, really connected to Statesman in any/many ways, so I can see that.
And Maria is too busy trying to figure out how to con us into going through half a dozen dimensions without some toad(y) going "I'm sorry, $Heroname, but our Statesman is in another world!" -
So do you think they now have the tech to fix the taunt aura/taunt IO set issue?

Quote:Another thing is all of Zynga's games are web-based to begin with - not much is required to have an app hook in.Because it wasn't designed into it from the beginning?
Because it's not the same sort of "Social game?"
Because the last time they tried to drag data out of the game to the website, it was.... *not good* for the servers? (See also City Vault.) And that was just viewing character data.
Not saying it wouldn't be nice to have, but "If X can do it, why can't COH" doesn't really fly. It's like saying "If robins can fly, why not ballistic missile submarines?" -
I don't know that Hero 1 would fit into Paragon City, outside the RWZ, very well - he's from the UK after all, if he was well enough to be "out and about" wouldn't he return home?

Quote:Unlike Faultline or Galaxy City, the tutorials had their "contact list clearing" bit involved in exiting via the contact - so in part it's to prevent calls to CS, when combined with the fact that Coyote is in the new tutorial, not moved to Atlas like the Galaxy City contacts (and Faultline never had contacts in zone, like Dark Astoria).Did you get booted right away? I logged into Galaxy the other day and got sent right to Atlas.

And here is something that might help the IO issue -
When you visit a trainer, and choose the option about improving your powers or whatnot, one of the sub options involves switching your build. You can level this one up (if unused it will be at level 1, but you just have to use the trainer to level it up to match your other build's level) and use that for an SO only build. -
Quote:Here's Will!Seriously! I would buy an app that did this, for up to $5.
Additionally, I'd love it if an app allowed me to use my account login to chat with people in my global friends list and/or already joined chat channels.

Quote:Once there are enough people to form the minimum sized group for the TF that satisfies enough peoples LFG settings (So, heroside, 3 for Positron 1 or 2 for instance) it should send the pop up to everyone involved and then start. Not sure what the order of preference is if there are multiple "valid" TF choices for the min. requirements.Just curious, if there are 8 people who queue up for first available but no one is try to start any particular event will those guys get grouped into a random tf available for there level or will the just sit in LFG limbo until someone tries to form an actual group?

Quote:That's what I was doing the other day. While I don't think this change was necessary and it seemed fine being able to occasionally sneak new people into the club...
I don't think it set up quite that badly...
I think it just means that every character would have to be doing the arc, getting the missions as the team goes through it (as we've been doing it all this time).
You should be able to complete the missions together, with the single run, so long as everyone has the mission(s). -
To further clarify - even in a City of Heroes, how old do you think she was before her father would allow her to run deliveries pre-Rikti War?
-
Have we determined that ghosts CANNOT hold things in the CoH Universe?
Plus, you've on opposite corners, a nuclear powered suit and a big cyborg. -
Quote:Correct. When it comes to incarnate or other league trials, it doesn't care if your league-mates are in a different zone, just your team mates still.I believe all teammates have to be in the same zone.
If the team in Atlas Park enters the queue, and the loner in KR is in the queue as well by himself, then they'd end up in the trial together.
Of course I've never used the queue for its intended purpose so I cant speak from experience.
The i22 update to the queue system will not change this (think it is next on their agenda, right after replacing Kool-Aid with Enriche. -
And to indicate this, you will notice Lore and Destiny both have "Incarnate Shifts" not level shifts to indicate they are for incarnate content only.

I'd have to say dual pistols is more of a teaming set than other blast sets. Especially when using ice or toxic ammo.
If you want a nice solo combo for defenders or corruptors dark miasma (Rex doubles as an air stun, useful when solo, and has lots of -to-hit which is almost as good as +Defsense) with either fire or ice blast.
