I would prefer to see more slots in Regeneration Aura. Love to see Hasten in the build somewhere. Like to see more slots devoted to Fortitude, like to see some Endmod for helping dealing with powers (typically Nukes) by getting over +1000% recovery in AB.

1. Now has hasten , perma with Spiritual Alpha and the Force Feedback proc is in torrent for good measure.
2. AB recovery is now 1105% and also perma
3. RA slotted (for recharge bonus rather than frankenslot)
Fortitude I haven't added to as this toon is mostly for duo'ing and I don't need more def or tohit bonus. In a larger team situation an extra 17% defense should be more than enough for them and if its for one or 2 toons its possible to double stack on 3 toons or triple on 2 giving 34 or 51% respectively.

i THOUGHT ABOUT IT BUT DECIDED TO SOFTCAP RANG INSTEAD

Im building this toon for my wife, not all that easy as ive never played a 'fender but here are two builds, the first has range and s/l defense, the second just range but has Thunderstrike so if she gets in trouble she can use that along with dark pit for a total of mag 4 stun. This is intended as a fairly budget build atm as she is just getting back into the game after a sabbatical.
Any feed back would be appreciate.

I normally run Pyre epic pool for my scrappers however I am considering caltrops on my BS/SD for some 'soft' control...ie they start running away slowly while it whallop them.
Anyone use it over Pyre at all, my concerns are as follows
1. Is it worth the trade off of lower damage vs fireball
2. Do they get out of melee range too quickly
3. Will it actually improve my survivability
Finally if I were to go down this route should i slot for damage or slow? -
This is the build im running, its not a finished by any stretch but to keep me going until i have 10bill to drop on him, shouldn't be much more expensive than yours but capped to all positions , close to perma hasted with spiritual alpha an as long as you get the accolades the end isnt a problem having taken the pyre epic for an extra aoe

Im wanting to set up keybinds to make the constant SBing of annoying team mates less irritating ie. pressing the number 1 key will sb team mate 1, pressing number 2 will sb team mate 2 etc.
Also what is the keybinds for combining insps?

I've just turned redside after 4 years and loving it and I've always wanted to build and level an Arachnos but after looking at them on mids im soooooo confused.
Can someone give me a one line summary of the main aspects and drawbacks of each variety. I'd be eternally grateful. -
Thinking of pullling my 41 Fire/Rad out of retirement and I have been looking at various builds on the forums which has led me to wonder a few things
1. With Chocking cloud having only a mag 1 hold, how effective is it
2. How much defense do I need to slot for considering radiant infection can hit 40% to hit debuff
3. For wiping out mobs how does it compare to fire/kin
And finally I know Ill/Rad can take out AVs and GMs thanks to PA, are the Fire Imps to squishy to do the same -

Recharge seems the obvious as I think the damage alpha wont have as big an effect or would some improved resistance /end make more sense.....HELP!!!!! -

Im building a Elec/SD scrapper and I am considering putting the above into Lightening Rod, Ive just got a couple of questions.
1. Is the chance for it to go off (10%) just when the power is activated or as this is an AOE power is it a 10% on every target it hits.
2. If it is 10% chance per target hit, is this benefit cumulative or will I benefit from just one 100% recharge, ie/ if it hits four targets will I get 400% recharge for 5 seconds -
1. Is there anyway i can have hasten on auto power ie. When its recharged it will autoselect rather than me having to press a button ( I saw someone alude to this in a post earlier today)
2. If I build a Stoner to be able to tank in non-granite mode (then granite when its really needed) does Rooted cause you to move slowler than a retired snail and be defeated by a wet paper bag that stands in your way and unable to leap the 2 inches to clear it? -

When alpha first appeared the natual choice was Spiritual for recharge, whilst alpha-ing my FireKin I re-fell in love with him so decided to spend my hard won inf and purps on him so without the alpha he has perma hasten (without Siphon Speed) effectively perma flashfire too (recharge 27 sec, duration 31 seconds) no end issues so Im thinking of changing my alpha slot choice but what too?????? All help appreciated

Is Unstoppable worth taking on a Soft capped(with 1 enemy in spitting distance) and soft capped s/l resistance worth taking??
If I drop it and play with my build I can get more recharge in for Dull Pain making the Hit Point increase perma and also start plugging my psi hole

Thanks for all your input.....I've wondered about dropping SJ but how does it affect getting around with just (guess I could try it!!!!! gawd im dumb). you've given me plenty to think about, I can get a bit blinded when I get an idea in my head. Fire Patron pool is the way forward as my scrapper is some kind of hellspawn so meshes nicely

I wanted to take ball of lightening on another scrapper but it didnt offer me the option just the pre GR epic pool sets, what am I missing

Could one of you wonderful people give my scrapper a once over for me.
I know he is very expensive so don't worry about that. The glad armor is in there to save on slots and so I can fit in aid self instead of maneuvers and saves on set bonus to make way for purps.
I have multiple goals for him...... mainly AOE king (with the plan of Melt armor/build up/shield charge/fire circle/fireball/fire circle) but also team friendly and able to solo at the higher plus and AV (hence aid self)
He has musc and spiritual boost alphas but I plan to use spiritual.
My main worry spots are the use of 4 slots in hasten (will Spiritual make it perma without the 4th slot) and I have no idea how to slot melt armor so i figured the achilles heel made sense and recharge to keep it up as often as possible.
Anyway here is the build what do you think

I am good with the softcap (I think) .... at 45% defense even level minions have the basic 5% to hit. What chances do Lts and bosses have (I know that different groups have different ToHits and Buffs) but I'd just like to know broadly.
The reason I am asking is for my fire/SD scrapper. He is currently running at the softcap, I have a Glad Armour Proc I can throw in (I found it in my bins believe it or not, totally forgot I had it) that would give me positional defense of 49%. Would that be worthwhile.
One option is that I can throw in maneuvers and get those up to 53% in place of aid self which gave me a 23% heal.
I could also purple things up, lose aid self and knock 7 seconds off hasten and have def of 50 or keep aidself, still purple up and have def at the softcap.
Playstyle he has fire mastery for epic so he is an AOE toon but id like to make him as survivable as possible, being fire/sd single target dam is not a problem. -
I hate to sound mean but I agree with TrueDarkLord, I would suggest looking at some of the sample builds in the archetype forums.
You don't need to slot siphon speed or siphon power like you have, consider the stone mastery pool for s/l def rather than resistance as you won't last 5 seconds with 2.6% def and 45% res.
Try to use your io sets for recharge and for my kin ive gone Spiritual for the recharge too. If you go for recharge Transference will be up quicker and you won't need to waste slots on recovery.
Looking at your power picks I assume this is a team oriented build, if not i'd lose Inc Density and Recall friend, even as a team toon i'd drop recall friend as if there is an almost entire team wipe you will go down with it as once tank has gone you will be main aggro
