I've made that mistake. Don't slot that thing for def. But you can throw a unique in there to get your -kb, etc. That won't supress. Or, if you have too many slots somehow, you could work toward a set bonus in it.

ETA: OH, the def will be there if you are hit by the splash of an AoE not aimed at you, but once you're hurt, it's all gone.

What you're doing is called Ghosting the mission. I have a few ghosts, as do many people. What you do is ask, "Are we ghosting?" or "Want me to ghost?" Or sometimes if you get to the mission early, announce to the team, "Scouting, dont' follow me." But make sure not to aggro anything.

However, if you're deciding your RP toon is discourteous, don't expect everyone to embrace that.

Also, tactics tip, a good ghost always has recall friend. To get the hero to the box, all you needed to do was ghost there and tp him in.

I feel the best ghost is an ill/ controller because of the sup invis and PA can distract when you need to take care of a glowy in a populated area.

I have an electric/electric blaster and two /electric tankers.

I haven't gotten the tanks up far enough to tell if they rock. They feel good, and I can reccomend wp/elec to anyone who digs melee.

My blaster is not a normal blaster like my fire/ice or AR/ guys are. He's a sapper. You know how everyone fears the Malta Sappers. Yeah, that's me. And just like a controller, sometimes your team won't realize it's you making the difference, but when you know that EB didn't try to attack for 20 seconds because he had no end and no recovery. Ha, that's good times.

If I get an item that sells slowly due to poor supply or poor demand, I delete it. I won't wait a week for 1m. And I'm not running to the shop to make 20k.

I agree with Steel that Supes is not necessarily a tank. Though if I were to make him one, WP/SS would have to be it.

To make and AT into [yet another] Superman clone, cap defense. With WP/ I think it's easier to do it with S/L, though Melee/Lethal is possibly what it is. I don't recall.

Tanks don't dish enough damage to be Supes. No AT in the game does.

Char is pretty good. But has been nerfed from the Fire/ controller version. Thirty-two second recharge...cof cof.

I have never been tempted by anything in the fire ancillary group. Heck, Fireball has a 32 sec recharge.

I do like physical perfection.

With blasters, I'm not keen on any of the ancilllaries.

Thanks for the good advice. A lot of times I don't think about the cost much when I'm doing mids, and then I get into WW and start changing things since I can't justify some things.

I just played my toon with her current slotting and I was getting nearly toasted by the stupid banished pantheon. Geez, they were radio missions, why did the guy keep picking them? I hate hate hate them. That's why no one every farms Dark Astoria, because they suck suck suck. Storm Shamans totally totally suck. Getting my melee def down to -60. Basterds.

Oh, and good tip on the slotting fix problem in mids too.

I'm going to try to get the same toon I had for Champion shaped up for Justice and transfer her over. I think that'll be her home for good. My favorite tank, on Virtue which is sad because I never play Virtue, will go to Champion. WP/electric + a concept I like = fun and nice.

Thinking of making these new toons, I realize I have a horrible wp/ addiction.

Player seems to load and I can hit play or stop, but nothing happens. On the status bar of Firefox is says "FTP complete."

I think they don't want it to look like crystals because of Rock.

While I'm thrilled at this, as they are mucho fun, I feel bad that I'll be showing up with lowbies on these servers. I feel bad that the vet/higher level toons have to babysit the level 5-20 tanks.

I'll roll some asap and get them working out. But there's very little chance I can get them all over 15 with the other project I've got going on.

I'm from Freedom and find forming teams on the rural servers difficult. So I tend to solo and that's slower.

The hilariousness of Lightning Storm cannot be underestimated in an extended battle. You need to back up though, so you can see the carnage.
