    You don't need Maros as a helper to get the badge. Heroes who haven't run Maros arc will be with Ansaldo.

    For each missions, people just have to follow those steps:

    1- Get the mission from Vincent Ross.
    2- Go talk to the 3 helpers (DuBrowski, Maros, Ansaldo) till one of them gives you a side missionm and you accept it.
    3- Go in the mission. Inside, justby the entrance there is a radio. Click to get the Optional objective of the helper contact.
    4- Make sure to complete that optional objective before finishing the mission.
    5- Once mission completed, exit and call Vincent Ross for the next mission. Repeat all those steps each time.

    If you miss one of those steps somewhere, you won't get the Connected badge. I Ouro'ed that mission with my badger Scrapper. I was given side missions by Ansaldo, then Maros, then Maros, then Ansaldo. Ansaldo was my helper in the mission where you get the badge.


    As for all the difference, it is the new tech Positron had talked about sometimes ago. The game can check if you have a badge or not, even clues and that could change things in missions. Much like the text in some arcs like Lord Recluse will know if you went to the future to beat him from the patron arc, or if you stole artefacts for Darrin Wade when you talk to him.

    The "Tantrum" emote can be selected as a reward for the Neutropolis Event, if you do it on the Praetorian Police side (you must attack the Ghouls).

    If you do it on the Ghoul side, the emote reward you can unlock is the Ghoul flex.

    When stealthed or invisible, characters won't cast a shadow. So are you using a stelath/invisibility power with that flying character? Or do you have a Stealth proc in Fly? That's the only thing I can think of, since you see shadows with your other characters.

    Very Rares ignore 2/3 of ED!

    Both have +1 level shifts.

    The rest is the same as far as stats modification.
  5. I don't really have a problem with that. I prefer they release Incarnate levels more slowly but with more content associated with them.

    The +1 Level Shift was only on the Rare and Very Rare Alpha slots. We don't know if it will still be the same since they are not activated... yet.

    I confirm too. I had 3 Tips and continued TOTing, qne I got the Halloween Tip. The only thing I don't know yet is if you have 5 fames, will you get the Halloween Tip? I would suppose yes, but you never know.

    I just want to make sure this is not some sort of misread on their part.
    David Nakayama says at 05:33: "We've also just added a support for Nvidia SLI, which means you can run two video cards at once, and (multiply?) frame rates."

    I'm not sure what he says exactly, I keep hearing "multiply". But yeah, it seems SLI will be working soon so my GTX295 should be happy.

    The way I read it, we will know why in the story arc. Myabe its not used on normal humans because they are weaker and would die or something?

    Leviathan is buried under Sharkhead, and it's tied with the Corallax. We see it in a few story arcs as well as Operative Renault Strikeforce. I guess they are expanding on the lore, and I would also guess the arc will be at least 30+ to put after Op. Renault SF.

    I'm liking i19 more and more.

    How about go to hell? I have GR, yes. Some people don't. That is not the sort of thing that should be locked out like that. And even if I can do it, it requires even more time and effort investment just to get to Blueside, even on a character I may not even want to take Rogue/Blueside.
    With i18, there is a Villain tip in the level 30-40 range that is full of Red Caps, and a few Tuatha. Plunder the treasure of the Aether, or something like that. They are on the Oranbega map with all the purple colors, where you have to destory a statue/wall at the beginning.
  12. The outdoor part took about 4-5 destruction of the Obelisks.

    Once inside, each teams had a Factory Cube assigned to them, with one Brute or Tanker responsable to get there just before the respawns. The yellow lightbulb things on each corner of the cubes are flashing before the respawns. Those Brute/Tankers were basically doing what they do with Yellow Mitos during evac-less Hami raids, getting the agro ASAP so they dont shoot at other people. With all the Rularuu all grouped together, using AOEs was dispatching them quickly, then when your Cube spawns were cleared, people would help on other cubes and then attack the AV right away as the shields were dropping down.

    That method was crucial I think. Deaths on our part was limited, and defeating the Rularuu quickly and almost at the same, was giving us a bigger window of attack on the AV.

    At some point we got out of synch with the cubes, and we had to retreat outside with about 30 minutes left to the timer. Some people decided to quit but we found replacements for them. At about 20 minutes left or so, we were ready to go back in for one last effort. And not sure why, but from that point on, we totally rocked the place.

    Each time we were going back to the AV, his health was lower and lower, and everyone was starting to believe we could beat him, if we had enough time. When we finally managed to get him down to about 10% health (I'd say that took around 10 rounds because he has an insane regen), we had one last go with about 1 minute left. With about 45 seconds left, we defeated him with probably like a few seconds of him becoming invulnerable in his force field again.

    I'm not sure about team compositions. Xeaon was asking for lots of corruptors for debuffing. I think we made sure each teams had some heals, rezzes, one tanker/brute for cube agro (they had to have taunt obviously). Also there was another tank responsable for the AV agro, and trying to lure him away when his forcefield was back up. We had lots of -Regen too. People with -regen click powers were told to use them just before the force field would protect the AV again so he would regenless during the clearing Rularuu phase.

    I think the main point in my opinion, is the 3 agroers getting under their cube just before the respawns, agroing all the Rularuu and then each teams unleashing AOE damage to clear everything. If all the Rularuu die quickly and at the same time, the AV will regen less, and the window of opportunity to damage him is bigger. Agroing the Rularuu also help protect the squishies since they don't get attacked much.

    And my Spines/Regen Scrapper got an Anger Monument. +25% damage for 7 days

    I'm leading Hamidon raids, usually the saturday ones although I've taken a break this summer, even though I was attaending them. I restarted leading raids 2 weeks ago.

    There's also an issue under the Alignment tab of Personal Info. When you do a Morality mission, it will count as 2 instead of 1 if the Morality mission is a reinforcement. For exemple, on one of my scrapper I ran 10 hero tips then a hero reinforcement, then 10 Vigilante tips and a morality to switch to Vigilante. Then 10 villain tips and a morality to switch to villain, and then 10 villain tips a villain reinforcement.

    It says:

    Total Morality Missions Completed:6 Should be 4
    Hero Morality Missions Completed:2 Should be 1
    Vigilante Morality Missions Completed:1
    Rogue Morality Missions Completed:0
    Villain Morality Missions Completed:3 Should be 2
    Hero-Reinforcing Morality Missions Completed:2 Should be 1
    Vigilante-Reinforcing Morality Missions Completed:0
    Rogue-Reinforcing Morality Missions Completed:0
    Villain-Reinforcing Morality Missions Completed:2 Should be 1

    Also, Missions completed count as dismissed missions too.

    I know, not game breaking bug, but since I like stats it would be cool if its fixed.

  18. I sent a petition in-game about, but thought I would post it here too to see if anyone saw something similar.

    Before Going Rogue, I have one hero group and one villain group, both with bases. One of my scrapper was in the Hero group but when Going Rogue went live, he became Vigilante, and then Villain.

    Once on Villain side, I quit my hero group and went to Port Oakes to create a new Villain group. Everything is fine. I can change the settings and all, go in VG mode to earn prestige, I have the VG characters screen (I am the only person in the VG).

    The problem is when I click the base portal. I dont have the "Enter the Base" button. I aslo made a coalition with my other Villain Group to be able to use the teleporters in there while I build the new base. I can see the button of my other villain group and can enter and use teleporters just fine.

    So I dunno what's going. Maybe the game still see me as a Hero? I would guess that's the bug.

    Beside the contests, you can also be a little patient. According to Noble Nakayama, we will be able to use most of the enemie group costumes. So you will be able to use the Carnies costume, or the parts you like the most. Dunno when this will go live. Maybe they will give more details at PAX Prime in September.
  20. There might still be some gems hidden here and there. For exemple, under Hats, Resistance has the WW2 style aviator hat. The one that the Gyro Captain is wearing in Mad Max 2: Road Warrior.

    I still don't understand why some people don't like that though... Everyone get a new Vet badge every 3 months, everyone. I think people get fixated on new Vet badges when they are announced because it's "new". I don't see either why the players who have been here the longer should stop getting Vet badges. Like I said, everyone get a new badges every 3 months.

    Since everything will be together, its irrelevant where you access the market now, no? The only advantages Rogues and Vigilantes have over the Heroes and Viallains is that they have more trading spots (Atlas Park, Kings Row, Steel Canyon, Talos Island, Mercy Island, Port Oakes, Cap au Diable, St Martial)... and maybe one or more zones in Praetoria, unless Praetoria has a different market system or something... or maybe none at all.
