I updated to GR through a Starbuck's Free Connection. I did it in 1 hour. Starbuck's or McDonald's network is powered by AT&T free wifi and should help you fix your problem.

I'm currently away from home, and my internet connection sucks. The updater simply will not work, it keeps stopping at fixing files sound.pigg 0 bytes/second. It's taken me several hours to get this far (I've tried twice), but it keeps getting stuck at sound.pigg for some reason. I'd really like to get my client patched up so I can take advantage of the character transfers and take part in the RPS contest.
So, would anyone be kind enough to seed a torrent of just the latest sound.pigg file and link it to me? A direct download won't be any good, as it cuts out every few minutes, so I have to use a torrent.
Thanks in advance to anyone who can do this!
Edit: The majorpatch file would be great too
If someone gets me up and running before Tuesday (RPS contest ends on Wednesday), I'll buy them the Complete Collection booster. That may require some other .pigg files if it gets stuck again though. -

From the CoV Beta:
- Fur Shoulders (Both the shoulder only and full chest versions, both seen in this thread)
- Pirate Shirt
- Wrap Face (I think it's the face that the ninja pets have)
And other stuff:- Malaise pattern
- Trousers with a pattern on the top and the bottom
- Non-shiny versions of the now-shiny costume pieces (this was mentioned in the other thread, but this seems like where it should be)
Also, it wasn't ever available to players, but I'd kill for one of those Troll heads that I have been smashing for 5 years. -

I just know that our server technology doesn't support the merging of any kind of server list. We would have merged Training Rooms for Betas for instance if we were able to. I'm not saying it's never going to happen though.

There's a whole subject of discussion called "The Philosophy of Language", and I believe one of the topics in that is "Can someone be lying when they, themselves, were sincere but did not know the truth?"
They contradicted themselves, sure. You are, however, obviously trying to get some mileage out of the word "Lie". It's that gambit that I'm challenging.
As I said in another thread: If they don't get some deal sorted with a European retailer, then they should just give it out for free to all EU prepurchasers - It's the only fair thing to do. -

By pre-ordering, you got to play with the sets early. That was YOUR CHOICE. FYI, I did not pre-order because I wasn't willing to spend extra. I'm patient. The free month of game time was more important to me than getting to use the sets early. And that was my choice.
