  1. Marketing put me in a focus group and made me all blurry.

Why find anything when I can just accept the word of someone on my PUG team?

  4. I'm surprised it took this long! Heh, well done.

  5. As Solitaire said, I played around with it when it was new, but I haven't used it since. But it's there if I want to, and I recognize that lots of people are enjoying it!

    1. 100%.
    2. At creation. Concept creates the character.
    3. No.

  8. I have two characters, my first 50s, that are duplicated on all servers.

They are only level 50 on Justice, and level 1s in Outbreak on all the others.

  9. Because my girlfriend wanted to play.

And because I occasionally need a healbot for my solo-impaired badger character.

I left it in the ice cream, and now it's frozen and I don't wanna grab it.

YES YES YES! That was so very cool, and it seemed so natural, much like a bilingual conversation would be where each side spoke their "own" language.

Of course they can speak. Why else would they be gesticulating during their monologues in the cut scenes?

  14. I still don't know why the French captain of the Enterprise D spoke with a high English accent.

What accent would we use for the Rikti? As Mr_Grey pointed out, we already have dubbed text (word bubbles), so I vote they dub in Klingon.

What about the Devouring Earth? Since Americans are in love with Australian accents, I vote the DE come from down undah.

As to the earlier question about the Warriors, they can only speak in Noo Yoruk accents.

    The Name Thread!

Dang, I'm too late! Seeing the baseball bat, and loving alliteration, my first thought was Louisville Leo (named after the famed American baseball bat, the Louisville Slugger).

  16. Years ago, the first time I went to log on to a forum, it asked for a user name. As the cursor sat there, blinking at me, I typed in the first thing I thought of.

It's been my online name ever since.

I don't know what takes Jay so long to edit existing costumes and create new ones. All he's gotta do is...

Whew, stopped myself just in time there.

  19. I'm a lefty, so I've remapped most everything to use the numpad. When I bought a new laptop, I made sure to get a wide one with a numpad.

In fact, Sellefane was watching me play once, and said something like, "Wow, you don't use your mouse much, do you?" Nope, I don't.

  20. I actually see the most =new= players in The Hollows. Something about following the contact chain they're taught to follow. You finish up your first contact in Atlas or Galaxy pretty quickly and get sent to The Hollows, where you spend a lot more time.

TL;DR version: Try broadcasting in The Hollows.

  21. Can a level 4 even GET Vanguard merits? Don't you have to be a member of Vanguard at level 35+ to do that?

    I agree completely too.

  25. Yes, ship raids are the way to go, but start by joining Vanguard at level 35. Then, EVERY Rikti you fight has a chance to drop a merit, whether street hunting in FF/PI or regular (non-RWZ) missions.

It's like filling a bucket with an eyedropper, sure, but every little merit helps, right?
