this thread seems very neg-rep heavy, what abotu positive rep.
i have pos-reped a few people and never neg repped anyone, i think it's a good way to give back to people who have helped you =) tho it doesn't really do anything =P -
ii have personally not really liked how heroes don't kill certain enemies! yes it would be extremely brutal to kill hundreds of petty theives a day, but still some enemies should be killed, like group leaders and really evil people
and some enemy groups can't exactly be put in jail can they, like Cot, why put a demon or ghost in jail, thats jsut moronic =P -
overall, im gona have to say nay
it seems very basic and grey to me, just weedy punches, plus as stated before street fighting has been arround for a while and this is basically a lesser version of street fighting. -
Wow people really don't seem to care much for Architect Entertainment improvements =(
surely not everyone has given up on it becasue of the farming and exp debuff... -
make the set fast and with lower end cost like claws and i would def give this set a shot =)
oh and make it workable with shield, so make it one handed spear or ill be angry =P -

ni hice idea, i would love to see all this put in the game, and it does sound possible after tonnes of work are put into it.
Think about how long it took for them to add power customisation, and that was really only a coulour change compared to this idea. it's big scary stuff but it sounds awesome =) -
Quote:Kinda like HEAT's 2 shotting hami overpowered, or not quite so?...Now we're getting into the realm of absurdly overpowered.
I always took my snipe in all my 1 ranged AT's, their fun, especially watching the enemy lose 3/4 of their HP before they even know your there, tee hee =P -
^^ nice to know it's not only me who thinks so, thanx. =)

I guess with SR i wouldn't have to worry as much about survivability because it's quite easy to soft cap making it both survivable and cannon like.
Sweet, am going to make a test build...
[EDIT]
Here we go, nice and quick pile on of IO's, look good????
26% more damage standing, with lots of recharge and endurance recovery, and accuracy to ensure i don't miss as much.
IZ NIIIICE!!! =P

maybe they could be set to passive/aggressive or defensive like the MM bots. That way if the knocker is killed they wont attack unless attacked first.
But if not how about making them super aggressive so they all attack everyone near them to give a more fear inducing kinda feel to the streets during halloween. (though this would probally end up wtih people avoiding nearly everywhere... -
Hi, I thought that if we had a thread where we could post our Mission Architect Suggestions, then it would be easier for the devs to find out what we want from the MA and hopefully find ways in which the MA could become a tool used mainly for creative content and not power leveling, if thats possible.
So here's a few of my suggestions:
1) Enemy Group Scaling: I have played a few arcs in which the level fluctuated as i progressed, from level 15 to level 30 to level 50 in one arc, and it was down to the Enemy groups that were wanted in the arc. My idea is to have enemy groups scale a bit more widely and have NPC's such as AV's and specific bosses span the entire level range. For example, the Circle of Thorns head man is lvl 35 to 41 because of the TF he appears in, but this means you cannot create a level 50 mission with the COT leader in it despite the group being a level 50 enemy group, surely this can't be right...
2) Cutom Cannon Enemies: With the cannon enemies in the MA the most you can customise them is to change a little of their colour, but they still keep the same powers and level range. I would like to see cutom enemy skins avaliable to choose as a custom character e.g. The Wailers are level 30-41 and they are very demonic looking, but if i wanted to create a wailer that used fire powers was level 50 and with darker skin, the most i would be able to do was colour the skin slightly and change the name. Surely adding in an option like this would allow for greater customisation potential in story arcs, leading to a better more creative use of the MA?
These are a couple of my ideas, i would love to see these in the game and im guessing a lot of you have things you would like to see as well so post em here =)

Very unsigned
This topic just screams 'we want to be more like wow' to me, i like how costumes work in CoX and having all that medieval armour type stuff (that i HATE with a passion) would just ruin the game because to be the best your char could be you would have to cover up your cossy.
It's the same problem as granite just with worse (IMHO) looks, and the devs are trying to find a costume alternative to granite because of how many people dislike the added coverup effect. -
Put Simply, i need a secondry to put with claws to make myself a 'mini gun' scrapper getting as many damage bonuses from IO sets in as possible.
What do you all think is the best option??? -
-
I havn't played a shield scrapper before tho i have played a fire melee scrapper. and i very recently had a go at creating a Fire/Shield powerset.
I personally am very impressed with your set, it looks pretty solid to me, and you will be dishing out the damage quite easily, looks like quite a good mitigation set to me =)
(steals ideas from Worcupine, hehehe)
Ps: you have quite a few expencive and very rare sets on your build, the PvP IO with the +3% def is going for arround 2b inf atm and there are none being sold, i don't know how rare they are as drops or even where exactly you get them (maybe PvP zones only????) so despite your build looking pretty killer, it's gona kill your wallet and your exploration time. good luck =) -
Quote:please explain my ignorance...Your ignorance is amazing.
Break your pinky toe and then go see if you run around on a football or soccer field.
plus, apparently you break your pinky toe all the time. Just bandage link it to the toe next to it and you'll be fine to run arround all day =D -

Astoria TF = Pantheon God Super AV's (which would be nice a tall all god like) = Me SUPER HAPPY AND EXCITED!!!!!!!
The zones level doesn't really agree with a demi-god TF tho, concidering they would have to be super hard enemies like Rischman, maybe if they boosted the level range to at least 40, at the back of the zone, maybe expand it at the back to even 50 where you would fight demi-gods, because you have to agree a rischman at level 29 would be severely unfair =P -
Quote:I usually have Itunes playing in the background (well ATT TBH) but i would like to see Epic AV specific music, i would turn my music off for that =DEasy-peasy, if your computer's powerful enough to run WinAmp or iTunes or whatever in the background.
though i can guess that quite a few people do this so tho changing the music wouldn't be too hard it would probally still be a use of time that could be better used elsewhere sadly. -

Nice idea, would love to see some more specific sets, like endurance or recharge Intensive damage sets, or endurance Intensive toggle enhancements =D, would make damage aura and heavy toggles much more manageable =)
ps: i'm guessing there are balancing reasons for the lack of Purple def/res sets???? -

i like this idea, there have been many times where my EA brute with hover was failing a little on the damage aura front, this sounds like a clever decsent idea to me =) -
Quote:Yeah, rugby beats american football, Real men arn't worried about getting into a scrum with other men, were not worried about breaking our nails on the SMALLER ball!!!!My scrappers aren't sissies so they play rugby.
American football... Pfft. Why do you wear armor to play sports real men do with nothing but their shirt ?
Quote:Yeah, and how stupid is hockey? They shouldn't wear pads because soccer players don't.
ps: Rugby rules!! -
how about more servers, you can have the same name on different servers (coming from the EU version, we have 4 servers that are nearly always empty =P)
maybe they could implement a setting to have, invisiable add ons to names, because i'm pretty sure noones ever teamed with someone who 'sole their name' so having an invisiable number that is needed for tells or whatever?... just a thought -
Ok my experience with CI shows it is very useful when tackeling drones and FFG's etc. so i do like the power quite a lot, tho i have had the death problem quite a bit, and that was on a brute that didn't have much fury generated, on a scrapper the base damage is quite a bit higher so this will make CI death more frequent and risky.
I personalluy think it could do with jumping even if the target is dead, and slightly lowering the either or end cost/recharge time of the power to make it more between an AOE and a STA becasue that is, after all, what it is...
