Me too. I like making them, and I like seeing what others come up with.
You can't do polls on these boards, can you? I thought maybe we could put them up for vote, rather than have one judge (who is MIA or most likely too busy with real life stuff). -
I could take over and judge the entries (disqualifying my own, of course), but the winner wouldn't get anything nifty like sprites.

Their stuff NEVER works. Just ask Wile E. Coyote. -
With the wings, the claws, and the visor he reminds me of that old-school X-Men character, Mimic.
Love the Timm style, though. Good stuff.

Hurry hurry! I want to see what the next color scheme is.

Very nice! How long has this taken so far?
-
If that's referring to mine - thanks! If not... I'll shut up now.

How are you getting the screenshots from the character creator? Mine never seems to make to the clipboard.
Oh, here's my entry, btw. -
Nice entries so far! I'm gonna have to give this palette a shot.

Well and then there's the amerimanga popularized by Joe Mad and J. Scott Campbell, which blends aspects of manga and traditional comicbook art styles.

I think Campbell has a lot more of a Disney influence than manga. -
It is difficult to balance the colors without giving it a Christmas theme.
-
It won't help with "simpler and cleaner art", but it will help you with figure drawing if you got a good anatomy book.
-
It looks like there's going to be a lot of Spines and Thorny Assault entries for this one.
Both of which I am also guilty of creating.

Damn you! That looks good, BN.
I made a Spines/Dark for this last night, but yours is better. This scheme is tough to do without it looking like Christmas. Oh well, back to the drawing board...
