With the wings, the claws, and the visor he reminds me of that old-school X-Men character, Mimic. 
Love the Timm style, though. Good stuff.

When I designed Mister Unlimited's costume I was trying to mix a bit of Orion from the New Gods (Costume color and chest harness) with the old Neal Adams Angel costumes from the 70's. Now that I look at him I do see a little mimic in there also.
I like that style... but probably mostly because it reminds me of the style of "Dexters' Lab" for some reason.
I dunno if that's a compliment or not, but I do like it .
