Quote:It's more like someone getting a cheap-*** MP3 player for free that only works half the time, has crappy sound quality, and having basic functionality, when they could have gotten a good MP3 player with good sound quality, extra options and functions. When asked why, they say "because I don't have to reach into my pocket to change the songs".This argument is practically the same as going to someone who just bought a new MP3 player and asking them why they couldn't just buy a 3 year old MP3 player. Why? Because they didn't want to. They wanted the new one. Simple as that. People who want an ingame music player want an ingame music player.
Sure, there are going to be people whose pants will fall down if they try reaching into their pocket, but they should just wear a belt. -
I'm still waiting for people to understand that -you can't do this-. You can only have one texture and one colour pattern at a time. It's a software limitation.

I feel that you could have posted a character without the lesbian BDSM pornography.

Quote:ThisI personally never do in-game weddings for my characters. Why? Because it's a pain to organize and coordinate. I did RL wedding photography for 15 years and have been to hundreds of RL weddings, but the in-game ones wind up being even more of a hassle. So my personal advice would be: don't hold the wedding in-game, have it happen off-screen.

Well, there's a muscular texture for females somewhere. If you look at the mannequins outside/inside Icon stores, a couple of the female mannequins have very defined muscle texture.

I can't find anything wrong with this other than the idea that you're supposed to be spending the merits on temp powers.

Quote:This is a bad idea, since the in-game music isn't designed to be "background music" but rather "zone introduction music". Just a brief tune to set you in the mood for the zone.I would like an ingame access to my music, replacing the current music, without having to resort to thrid-party software.
There are looping musics in places like Pocket D or the Sewers - but these aren't really "music", they're just little invisible tokens on the map that broadcast sound, like how mission objectives broadcast that distinctive glowie sound.
I still don't see how you can't just turn off all the music and use WMP or WinAmp or VLC or whatever. -
Quote:It doesn't work this way. You can't "mix" textures with the current game engine. The most you can do is create a colour pattern.I was wondering if other people would like this to be done as well. Instead of just skin colors, we have a skin texture; such as reptile, tech box, etc. So that whenever you have a costume piece that uses skin tone it uses this texture. This would take a little work, like anything else, but could come up with something rather interesting. Like the wired tech texture on the hooved or clawed monstrous feat with a tech skin.
Coloring would need some work, as you would need to combine or chose ether skin coloring or normal costume coloring for the texture.
The way it would be set up is that the skin tone would be exactly like a normal costume slot. It would have the color and to the left, the skin type chosen. You click on it and the skin color selection will open as normal. Non-bear skin textures could have both the normal costume coloring and the skin tone coloring. -
From this page:
Quote:Statesman's Tip: Remember that a short, easy-to-spell name will help your fellow heroes communicate with you through /tells and other communications options. Is the name you wanted already taken? Let comics tradition come to your rescue. If you can’t be Bongo Man try Bongo Master, Bongo Boy, Bongo Lad, Captain Bongo or even Bongoman. -
Quote:No it doesn't, it's barely noticeable....Maybe because punctuation used in that way looks completely stupid?
I don't think the problem here is that there's not enough names, I think the problem is your standards are too high to accept alternatives that make this idea pointless. -
If "Awesome Man" is taken, why not just use "Awesome-Man", "Awesome Man.", "Awesome Man'", or any other permutation of that?
If your character is such a super special unique snowflake that you can't stand to have horrible, evil punctuation afflicting your name, just think up of a new name. -
If people take trash talk in PVP zones seriously they need to learn how to play IMO

One of the main reasons you log out is for security purposes. When an administrator blocks an account from accessing the game, the character, if logged in, can still go around and function in the game - the GMs have to actually manually disconnect you and often times they don't. The "log out before switching characters" is a safeguard against people griefing or continuing to play on alternate characters if they've been banned.

Can't you just put on Windows Media Player? I do it with 1.5 GB of RAM running Windows 7 and Ultra Mode, you should be able to do it too.

I'd like a "fitting room" where you can edit all your costumes free of charge, parade around in the lighting using emotes, etc, and only have to pay when you actually leave the room. I'm one of the people that likes to constantly make changes to a costume while checking it out in "real lighting" with emotes/poses.
It's cost me hundreds of millions of inf. -
Quote:I do this constantly. I'm sorry you pretend that it's "rude", but it's one of the few ways to actually get a team....please do not send me a tell inviting yourself to my team. If my team was looking for more, I would have broadcast it and invited people that way.
If you send me a tell saying "Any room? or "Can I join?", I will not reply, I will ignore you.
It's just rude.
Thanks.
Also lol @ the huge walls of whining on the rest of the thread. -
I do like the costume, and she actually looks remarkably similar in build to Nozomi (whose physique is somewhere in the range of 25-50% of the slider). Yeah, I don't know why people enjoy making these anorexic looking characters - I, for one, prefer my characters to look like they actually get some exercise.

I'd like some idle animations that don't consist of "stand like a chump", "stand with arms akimbo" and "crossed arms". They're such unnatural looking poses.
I used the "wait" and "vendor" emotes to create the poses for this picture - I would really like something like those to be possible idle animations.
Ideally, you could choose from "idle animation sets" at character creation/tailoring - like "heroic", "military", "casual", etc.
