  1. And when your SG owes rent, the client does it to the "Your rent is due" message also. rofl.
  2. As others have pointed out, it DOES happen to other servers and other zones as well. Yes, it can get annoying.

Maybe while you are waiting for an answer, you can stop hanging around Atlas and work on some other content. Then you can also see if it spreads to other zones. If you are doing AE all the time.. there are AE buildings in almost every other zone as well. What else are you doing in Atlas that would keep you confined there, especially if the issue is so common?

Other than the fact that it probably won't stick upon zoning, I don't see why they won't let us choose our own name colors. I mean, it looks kinda silly to have a max height huge male Tanker with a bright pink chat name... >.>

[/ QUOTE ] A character's individual color always remains the same. It's the global chat text colors that change when zoning.
  4. At this point, it might be a good idea to just get a /petition rolling. That information is saved in the character data on the server, so maybe there is something they can fix on their end...
  5. You can just log into a character that has your preferred setup and do a "/wdwsave", then log onto the affected character and do a "/wdwload"
  6. i15 is on test now, so let's work on setting a date for this.

How's next Tuesday the 2nd (hero) and Thursday the 4th (Villain) night for everybody?

There might be a link for one in this forum but I do know Badge-Hunter has one on their downloads page.
I have no idea how up-to-date it is because I just use the main site itself as my "checklist".

    [/ QUOTE ] "Last Updated: 18 Aug 2008"

So it's probably current as of Issue 12.. and maybe some i13 beta content.

    [/ QUOTE ]
Yeah I actaully read that date when I created my link.
But who knows if they've kept the spreadsheet up-to-date regardless of what the webpage says...

Anyway I was trying to be nice and "hint" that relying on static excel spreadsheets was not the best way to track these things.

[/ QUOTE ] Agreed. I use the site itself combined with HeroStats also. lol

Kraken is not scary either. He looks too much like Grimace.

[/ QUOTE ] rofl.. but at least he is slightly threatening and can actually damage you. Sally just swims around and minds her own business until you 1-shot her. haha
  9. You forgot U'Kon Gr'ai.

Also, I'd omit Sally from that list just because she's a joke of a monster, not scary, and already has an accolade attached to her defeat.

If you REALLY want to make it epic.. add Hami to the list. haha

Also, to keep it fair.. provide one for Villain side also including Deathsurge, Caleb, Ghost of Scrapyard, Flyer, U'Kon Gr'ai.

Other than that, it sounds cool I guess.

  11. Put me down for "something to round out the team" also. lol

    Preferred choices:
    Master-Blade 50 Katana / Regen (Scrapper)
Teal Tabby 50 Invulnerability / Axe (Tank)
Nurse Smurfette 50 Empathy / Rad (Def)
Midnight Meow 50 Energy / Energy (Blaster)
PPD Hardsuit 50 Assault Rifle / Devices (Blaster)

Can we get this thread up to 50+ pages too please? The forums don't have enough I15 Badge Changes Rage yet.

    Eco.

[/ QUOTE ] 50 pages is relative anyway. It depends how many posts per page somebody has in their forum settings. 50 pages for one person might be only 25 for another.

    Edit:
For example, for me, this thread only had 1 page until I posted this reply.

  14. You can log off near one of those doors the right way and log back in on the inside of the building the same way too. It's weird. lol

Even though I showed up for the last TF run, as soon as we started it up...I was out. Was in a hotel for the holiday weekend and the internet was fail by the 2nd mish. Anyways, I'm home and game for this one...

  16. Ok.. I'll bring something.. Longbow Spy-duh perhaps.

I had a lot of fun, and I was pretty impressed that we did it in 4 hours. I apologize if me entering the last mish before we were set contributed to the team wipe.

[/ QUOTE ] LoL.. I just pretend it's just a curse to enter the last mission before everybody is ready because there have been bugs that cause not everybody gets the badge because "they were not being in the mission long enough". It's always good practice to wait for the team before zoning into the last mission of a TF.. especially a long one... and especially since I said "Wait for team before entering".. haha

Since a few people were selling quick.. I didn't want to risk any problems.. but luckily, the last member was just zoning into DA and a quick TP away anyway.

So when we wiped, I jokingly blamed you anyway. lol

As of this morning, every time I pull up a new forum post, I get a warning that the page containes both secure and nonsecure items and a prompt to continue. This is new, something between last night and this morning changed. Did something on the forum site lose its security certificate? It's getting really annoying to have a prompt pop up on every new post, every navigation back, etc. And no, I don't want to disable this feature in my browser as I find it an important security precaution. Just thought I'd point this out.

Anyone else having this problem, or is it just me?

    [/ QUOTE ]

Happens to me every once in a while. Just exit out of Explorer and open it back up. Poof, works fine.

    [/ QUOTE ] lolExplorer

    (Sorry, couldn't help it.)
  20. Sometimes it can also depend on the monitor itself. Using "default plug and play monitor" doesn't always yield the best results. Is there a special driver for your monitor as well?
  21. <QR>

Are you playing the game on the same resolution as your desktop size? Sometimes you can have undesired results when playing fullscreen on a different resolution, especially when trying to switch back and forth.
  22. High Collar Cape & Baggy sinister shirt... displaying just fine here as well.

I tried different combinations of switching shirts and capes to see if I could get it to glitch into displaying wrong, but I can't. Looks fine to me.

Thanks, I'll try this when I get home tonight. I did check the chat options, but didn't know about having the proper channels in the tabs.

I heard there were some changes with the text system (I haven't played in about a year), but I didn't realize that it would hide bubbles that you didn't have a window for.

[/ QUOTE ] I think it's been since i12 (last year) that the "Cutscene Captions" was added, and people started having issues with bubbles appearing. Adding "Cutscene Captions" fixed the Cutscenes for people, so I assume you wont see a bubble for anything else you don't have in your chat.

That's strictly my assumption, as I haven't done any extensive tests or anything, but based on what has worked for people so far... it's safer to just have them on a hidden tab anyway just in case it's not intended behavior and/or a bug that only happens once in a while for some people.

Thinking back, I remember now why it didn't get set... It had something to do with a certain irradiated illusionist speed ballin' around Dr Q while I was trying to set the TF. Kept bumping me outta the screen Hmmmph.

[/ QUOTE ] lol, sorry. I wasn't trying to knock anybody around when I do that. It's simply silliness. haha

    [ QUOTE ]
PS: Anyone that was at the startup on Sunday night might want to check their chat boxes to make sure the "Freedom TF Chat" channel is still there. We experienced a global reset on the chat channels while setting up, and that causes it to remove your channels. I noticed last night that although a lot of people were showing as being in the channel, it was abnormally quiet.

    [/ QUOTE ]
Yes, the global server went down briefly and reset just before we started on Sunday.

Anytime after setting up or making changes to my chat tabs, I do a /chatsave. This ensures all my channels will appear correctly on new characters as well.

Then, whenever I notice the Global channels have reset (Seeing the "Joined channel" messages flood my chat), I just /chatload to put everything back quickly.

If you see the "Joined channel" messages, but you don't see the MOTDs pop up in your chat again, then chances are they didn't get re-added to your tab, and a /chatload is in order.

(On a side note, the tab contents are actually saved on the server and should reappear the next time you log in anyway.. but having a /chatsave on reserve is always a good idea in case they don't)

You can unlock a back way into the Cascade Archipelago that places you right next to the contact for this Task Force. To do this, complete Dr. Boyd's arc in Fire Base Zulu. Dr. Boyd is introduced to you by General Hammond.

    [/ QUOTE ]

For a much simpler way, just go to Cascade and follow the waypoint on the south section of the map for "Fire Base Zulu".

That will bring you to an underground portal that you cannot enter without the key.

The guy that holds the key is wearing a white lab coat and standing just to the right of the portal, named "Mole Point Operator".

All you have to do is click on him and he'll give you the key. NO missions, arcs or contacts are necessary.

Then you can use that portal to go back and forth whenever you want.
