Meaning: youre at full hp (1500, 300 of it is bonus) - you get hit for 1000 damage, but no credit. Not even 1000 - 300 = credit for 700. But any damage sustained After you have reached your base hps then Does count. So the next 1+ hp of damage after that 1k hit would count on your badge.
That's not my experience at all.

Using your example, I'm in Rest with 1500hp (300 of it bonus), and get hit for 1600. The 1-shot code prevents me from dying, leaving me with 1hp, which I regen 100% back to 1500hp before the next attack. I get hit for 1600 again, etc, etc etc..

Using your logic, everybody using the 1-shot method in rest wouldn't be getting any credit at all... but of course that's not the case. Even now that our favorite Rikti Boss kills us with a second attack, we can get hit for 1400hp by a different foe, regen 100% back to 1500hp (300 of it bonus) before the next strike.. and still get lots of credit. That's how I got my badges.

I'm originally from upstate New York, and I'm in the Boston area now, so I shouldn't have a problem passing that:

That makes only 25 (including the XXV badge) available to each side, not 26.

I still have XXV because I earned it before the wipe. Since it's still a valid badge, it wasn't removed, even though I didn't have 25 other AE badges. I now have all of them, which totals 25 (including XXV).

The question is, how would you normally earn the last, 25th badge, if the 25th badge is for earning 25 badges? (lol)

If it's not from the dayjob or exploration badge, I'd assume they intend people to switch sides with going rogue and earn that last hero/villain badge that way to make 25, and then earn XXV as the 26th badge. Otherwise, I see no way of earning it.

If we finish in a timely manner, we will finish up Part 4 of MB’s Captain Mako Patron Arc
This in mind, I'll bring Longbow Spy-duh and possibly hit lvl 50 during the Ouro, which will cap the final LR battle. Depending on what time it is, should we use a higher challenge? lol
  5. e-bay. lol

I want it too, but I can't see paying that kind of money for it.

    Stf...

I'm curious if they intend on changing the AI again to "fix" that too. Like you said, it can still be overcome easily with the right approach, so I'm wondering if they will just leave it alone because of that.

When I first reported it the night the change happened, the GM said it was a bug. They said it was escalated. Weeks later, the Devs said they knew nothing about it, despite the multiple reports and threads on the forum. Last I knew, they were finally "looking into it". That was also weeks ago though.

    THIS.

But what you can do, is set Speed Boost on auto, then use your ID binds to cycle through the team/pets, then take it off auto again.

Let's say you joined a Supergroup called "The Magnificent Defenders of Virtue." After a year or so, the leader of the SG gets tired of playing the game and either as a joke, or because he's angry at the other players in the group, he renames it "The Whiney-Baby Poopy-Pants." You probably wouldn't want to run around with "Whiney-Baby Poopy-Pants" under your character's name all the time, so you'd have to quit the group.
If the leader quit the game, somebody else would become leader and change it back to whatever they want.
  9. Maybe something that is running in the background is temporarily taking focus away from the game, causing the signal to "stick" and fly off in a crazy direction. (Kinda how some people who alt-tab to a different program while loading sometimes end up with a
"stuck" alt key, and setting off powers from the wrong powertray.)

If you provide us with a HiJack_This and a CoH_Helper log, we might be able to find something to help.

And Arena chat always seems to have something horrid in it.)
Before you do anything, type "/chatsavefile default.txt" (or something else you'll remember).

If you are going to have an "important" conversation that you are going to want to save, then edit your chat tabs so only the ones you are paying attention to are there, and on separate tabs. (Use "/chatsavefile conference.txt" to save this alternate preference.)

When it comes time to save, simply right click on the channels you don't want to actually save and select "clear history". Then when you save your chat, only what you want will be there. Simple do "/chatloadfile default.txt" to get your tabs back to normal.

    -or-

Find a text editor that has a search and replace option that might allow you to "Delete any line that begins with..." [Arena] (for example).
  11. No you can't.

Your account will only allow itself to be "upgraded" with any single type of retail code ONCE.

You'll have to give it away to a friend, or use it to create a secret second account for trading things to your other toons. lol
  12. Sounds like an issue of a wireless mouse with a weak signal. Make sure the batteries are fresh and/or move the receiver to a better spot.

    Macro Help

    teamselect #

For example, if you wanted to target the teammate who is currently in position 3, you'd use teamselect 3.

It can be used in macros and binds the same way.

You have to be kidding me. Give them some time at least. Everything was ported over "as-is" from one program to another. You have to expect issues at the beginning. Broken links is one of them.
  17. It counts sent messages as unread if they were ported over from the old forum. I simply deleted mine. lol

Right-click on the character name and hit "Report Spammer". Character is ignored (now globally), and marked as a spammer. The higher ups advised a /petition, but it wasn't required.

EDIT: Part of me is giggling that I sent TonyV a link to his own site
It's left-click the name in the chat and select "Ignore Player_name as Spammer"
  20. I have no good news for you. That looks like either an overheated/damaged video card or memory problem.
  21. well, I havn't had any actual errors (using Firefox), but I've found the forums/threads/posts to be loading very slowly at times lately.

I know what they do, and you are right, it doesn't hurt to have them. I just don't include them because I find them to be not necessary 99% of the time. If I was in a mob that contained 10 Sorcerers, I might want the alive tag, sure, but that's not common behavior, and at that point, you could just use the standard target bind to move to the next one anyway. (YMMV)

Yep, along with your example, I'd use it for Generals and cysts (in the ITF), Surgeons, or if you are badge hunting you could use "spirit", "elite", "tank", etc.

Unless there are a bunch of other players around that possibly have a similar name to what you are looking for, you don't need the "enemy alive" anyway.
