Looking at the history, it look like have a dozen non-lvl50 Celerity +Stealth recipes were sold in the last couple days, and that doesn't include the other Sets or actual enhancements.. but ur right, bidding on the right lvl that happens to come available might be tricky.
  4. I don't know what you are trying to make with it, or how in-depth you need it, but a quick search turned this up:

just keep in mind that player notes are GLOBAL, so if you are going to do this on more than one toon, it would be beneficial to name the note with your toon name as well so that you don't end up opening the AVs for the wrong character.

    Something like:
    /playernote AVMaster-Blade
    /playernote AVTealTabby
    /playernote AVRobinRogue

Then you can even bind that note to a key to open it any time it's pressed.

If you wanted to, you can even create notes like:
    /playernote SalvageMaster-Blade
    /playernote SalvageTealTabby
    /playernote SalvageRobinRogue

And because they are global, you can access those notes from your other characters just by typing the command, and you can see what your other characters have in their inventory or vault (as long as you keep it updated).

    Indeed.

Black Swan isn't listed as an objective in her mission. People who don't know she's on the map may "rescue the prisoner" and skip right past her without realizing it. I usually recommend killing her before even searching for the prisoner so that people don't get locked out of the complete mission when trying to go to Hospital during the AV fight.

...and Anti-Matter is in an earlier arc, so it's easy to forget him as well.
  7. Easiest thing to do is just get a group together on your server and run the arc straight through again. There are usually people willing to do it with you.

Last night? I thought you were trying to tell me that the fix already went live and it was supposed to be like that. I was saying there was supposed to be yet another fix for it to allow for increased difficulty, and I was just trying to find out if it went live yet.

Sorry for the miscommunication. I have a lot going on and miss some of the chat at times.

Apparently, it was just a temporary fix to prevent -1 from making TFs and/or Mo-TFs too easy. They did this by making the setting not apply to the TF at all, and stay at +0. Unfortunately, this apparently means that even a setting of +4 would result in lvl 50/51 on the ITF. I guess even Mary Macomber doesn't level up to 37 anymore either, so they still have to finish fixing it so the TFs work as designed again. bleh. lol

Angeliscar.. did LR's team go back to 54, or are they still spawning around 50 with the +0 setting?

I'm not saying that it never takes upwards of half an hour or so, especially on a weekend, but it's certainly a better choice than waiting a couple hours by using the other selections, typically.

They've always been there, but I'll agree that the indented style of the SSK system makes them more noticeable.

I've used them as a reference for the "TeamSelect #" binds for a long time on my support toons.

"Stuck" is what I've always used if I was in need of immediate assistance in-game. I think that people use General too much and then complain that they aren't getting results, then log off before help arrives, which is just a waste of time for everybody involved.

To me, not being able to enter or finish your mission certainly qualifies as being "stuck". lol

lol. I was looking for a giant grin, but this was too funny to pass up when I came across it.

This TF went easy again. This time, Seven remembered to EXIT! lol

We did have a couple DC's, so we waited for the affected member to come back before continuing each time. Too bad the +2 didn't do anything. I hope the fix for the new difficulty settings come soon. I'm really looking forward to stomping down a higher rated Rom.

Gratz to everybody who hang around in Round 2 and picked up the badge! See you all for the next event!

Sevenpenny get's the "I phail" award for not clicking EXIT on the 10th cyst! lol

It was a quick, fun attempt. Sorry it didn't win. Some people decided to make a second run, so I'll post those results after.

It happened to me two missions in a row tonight. First one I dropped as a bugged mission, second one I had to petition, and got a GM to help me out. Either way, it's rather annoying, and I'm curious if anyone else has had this problem.

Also, I did /bug the mission, and the behavior, as well as petitioned it, so that's covered already. ;-)
Just an FYI.. Running the 2nd Respec in Founders may run into the same problem, as it uses a random door in that zone.

Also, Brickstown has the same AE desk problem.

StudioB is not underground either, and graphical effects are filtered out through the transparent glass... but that doesn't stop you from receiving the information from characters that are outside the window or upstairs in the main room.

And I think you meant "quiet"?
  18. For the sake of curiousity, does your badge name change automatically if you change your costume to the opposite sex? It seems like it should since it's just a text title and there is nothing else different about the badges.

    Window Transparency Setting

It doesn't stick. Every time the options window is opened the slider moves toward zero.
Workaround: The transparency of the windows can be set with the /window_color command. It takes an argument of four integers from 0 - 255 each separated by a space. The four integers set the Red, Green, Blue, and Alpha (transparency) values. And so, e.g.,
    • /window_color 0 255 0 100 -- would yield very green window borders that are nearly half transparent with the window space on the inside nearly invisible.
    • /window_color 200 0 200 230 -- would yield very purple borders about 60% opaque and an inside window about 90% opaque.

Such commands can be set to a bind or macro or popmenu for quick resetting. Or it can be bound to an often used command so that it's constantly being reset without having to think about it.
I have a custom wdw.txt file. I'm assuming that because the Opacity values for each window is individually set by that file, the global value doesn't affect them? At least that would explain why I can't duplicate the OP's results anyway.

On a side note, When I opened my options window, the slider didn't move toward zero, but rather the opposite.. it's showing me 53%, when I know it used to be 50% at one time. It probably depends on some combination between your resolution and your window scaling to determine which direction the slider will "tick" to.

    Window Opacity

Well I was just messing with mine to try to figure it out for you. I keep mine around 50%, which means I can distinctly see and read them just fine, while also being able to clearly see through them. When the focus is on a window, it darkens even more.

By now, I have no idea what the default value is or what anybody else uses. The only thing I can figure is that you might have your Opacity set very low. I couldn't duplicate your results at all. I'd try messing with your options and see if maybe you have "Dim All Windows" Enabled or something by mistake.

It's most likely linked with your costume scheme. After all, that's where it's created, saved, and accessed.

The only time somebody might "lag" more would be zoning into the higher populated areas and first receiving the information from everybody in the area. Any use of the colored powers simply refer to that scheme instead of the default one and shouldn't cause any additional strain on the system.

However, it may cause the client to use more memory over time, which may cause instability for some people as their already-low system resources dwindle even further, which can cause other functions to slow down as well.

Point is, as software is improved, so should you improve your hardware. I agree with Rodion. lol

As I mentioned above, all you have to do is copy/paste the message ID# into the reply URL and it'll fill it in for you. It's a lot easier than trying to do the whole message manually each time.

  25. Umm.. that happened well before Vista/7, and not just with GeForce people. It can usually be solved by making sure your run the game at the same resolution as your desktop, and/or using windowed mode instead.

If you are talking about a different problem, then disregard this comment.
