    When you get oil slick you will probably need to target it amongst a mash of foes and to prevent you tabbing around create a bind or macro that has "$$target_name oilslick" and you should auto target it but im not sure if /sonic sets it off tbh.

    Fire/ and Elec/ both have 2 good AoEs.
    Fire/ has a cone and a ball.
    Elec/ has a ball and a pbAoE. Fire's do more damage though.

    /Fire has 2 PbAoEs and 2 damage Auras.
    /Devices has Trip Mine and Time Bomb. See other posts.

    I would say either Elec/Fire or Fire/Fire with Fire/Fire just winning.

    Also, don't underestimate AR, it has 2 normal cones, AoE, small LBAoE, and a semi-nuke cone.
  15. I don't have damage scalar numbers, but SherkSilver's planner gives trip mines 5.5 BI, with 2 possible hits of 2.7, while nove with all possible damages hitting is around 12 BI.

    [/ QUOTE ]Not really, you can lay trip mine every 13 secs or so including the animation time, and 2 or 3 trip mines is already over nuke damage.

    Secondary is important in choosing, if you are going SR (which rocks) I would say take Kat from your choices as divine avalance augments SRs defence considerably for Melee.

    If things remain easy then try Tenacious if you've focused on AoE or Rugged if you've focused on single target. Tenacious increases the amount of mobs in each spawn while Rugged increases their level.

    [/ QUOTE ]I'm not saying they're all as good, to be that, they'd have to be identical. I'm saying that while stone armor has it's sides, it is not as good in accomplishing the primary role of the brute than other secondaries in most situations.

  23. You shouldn't need acrobatcics with grounded, as long as you fight close to ground. I'd propably go for SS+Fly, using fly for vertical travel only, taking AS over hover, and hasten over flurry.

    [/ QUOTE ][censored]? You should be using it whenever it's up and you're fighting enemies, thus 3 rech is VERY useful. Plus, the most important aspect of the power is the -resistance, which you cant slot so you need the recharge to have the power up as much as possible to benefit more.

    Slotting more than 3 of one SO type in a power is a waste, as others have said.
