Quote:Who really gives a **** what you consider the "correct" way to defeat a bag of hp with bad a.i is?Using incarnate pets totally invalidates the claim to have 'solo'd' these AVs. My emp/psi fender can 'solo' a rikti pylon..just by forting and abing my Vicky incarnate pet. Is that me soloing the pylon? Of course it isnt.
The incarnate pets do insane damage, utterly insane. What's more..they have a recharge value, meaning you cant have them out all the time. Sounds a lot like a temp power to me. Of course you can get technical, and call them Incarnate Powers.
Videos are cool though. -
Just do away with the rating system.

I heard something about a new eula where you apparently can get banned for mentioning peoples real names, using acronyms for sg's, talking **** about CoH in general anywhere even offsite.
I tried searching for threads but all i got was blank screen. -
I like this suggestion.
Also with removal of travel suppression and heal decay i would like pvp base resists lowered or removed.
DR curve on sonic and thermal shields looked at, add psi resistance in pvp as well which would make a new role viable.
If not a complete removal of travel suppression is doable return it to the old style travel suppression and adjust the dr curve on travel powers. -
Quote:I want to allow them because stuff like reactive makes alot more sets viable. If you only allowed alphas, more people would likely show interest.
Also, what's your reasoning behind the maps you've chosen?
I meant to add tech. Outbreak would be cool too.
I just don't want situations like people running around in circles on industrial or eden.
As for skyway, steel and striga i feel they are too big for a smaller team setting. -
Quote:Hey hey je saist junior. Post source or calm down.I took that into account Bill. My percentages are pure wild guesses, I make no bones about it and I make no claims that they are accurate. They probably aren't too far off, but I have no way of knowing for sure.
I mentioned the 5% that I considered "hardcore" PvPers, which are those that PvP is the reason they play the game.
I also mentioned an additional 5% that dabbled in it occasionally. That number may be a little higher than I estimated, but that number is a lot harder to quantify. Do you count if you participated in zone PvP a couple times, or if you fought another player once? Casual PvPers are a lot harder to identify than the hardcore.
I don't think the hardcore PvP population ever got higher than 6-7% at it's peak. Like I said, 5% of 120,000 is 6,000, and even at PvP's peak I didn't see enough people participating in it to accumulate that kind of number. I you average that out it's a little better than 500 PvPers per server, maybe a little skewed toward Freedom and Virtue. I don't know about you, but I never saw enough people PvPing to add up to that number, taking into account non-peak hours as well. I mean, if you see 25 in a zone on Friday at 9 PM, it's a bit of a stretch to assume that there were 475 at different times throughout the rest of the day. And casual PvPers making up the difference seems unlikely. -
If ageless is available should there be a limit on therms?
-
If i were to get a 3v3 tournament going would people fine with these rules?
All ATs allowed (max 2 stalkers max 1 tauntbot)
All powers allowed except lores.
Office, Cargo, Perez, Atlas allowed.
Small Inspirations only
Travel Suppression will be turned off
Heal Decay will be turned off
Best of 1, Double Elimination, Ties are replayed.
Also prices. Would you participate if there were no prizes or small prizes?(i'm poor)
Oh yeah this would be on freedom. -
Quote:office is viable too imo.Global - @TheKatalyst
Available for matches on weekends - Yes
I'm not 100% sure I will be participating in this, I'm not big on dueling, especially after incarnates, and am busy with managing the Freedumb PvP League.
That said Freedom RV is boring, and I would like to meet some of the Victory PvPers.
Also I would be transfering a toon for this if I did participate, from Freedom, probably only 1 if any.
ALSO I'm very very against dueling with incarnates, anyone who challenges me if I participate will be asked if we can duel w/o them almost every time, but rules are rules, I won't turn down challenges if we are using incarnates.
Sorry for the follow up stuff, dunno if that's something that you want or not Masque, just wanted to clarify those things.
Thanks for running this btw Masque, I will talk to people and see if I can convince anyone to sign up from Freedom PvPers I know.
Also I would suggest you signifigantly lower the legal maps... The only maps I consider truly viable dueling maps are Cargo Ship, Graveyard, and Perez. On most of the rest of the maps if people really want to they can just run and hide for 10 mins, which even if you count SD wins as wins, makes for very boring matches. -
Depends how much you are willing to spend. fire/fire/ice dom is ok but expensive. was stupid good when reactive was borked.
-
Im pretty sure a peacebringer could farm. It would suck horribly but it could farm.
-
Just roll a km. Its honestly the only good primary unless you fight club. If you don't want to go regen you can go elec armor. A bit less survivable than elec on tanks and brutes obviously but you have a self heal and a decent amount of resist.
-
Someone pl me a tank and a warshade. Ill give you a fury of the gladiator tri!

Quote:Tokyo is Terminal LadHas anyone ever been on vent with TL? I honestly suspect that TL is a female or at the very least a feminine dude from so lulzy conversations in RV. Man I really need to save chatlogs. Virtue is the rp server so would it be all that strange if a female named a toon terminal lad?

Quote:With claws fire you get the resistance toggle, a self heal and the better damage aura before level 6.I was just thinking that, too.
To the question of 'why claws/electric rather than claws/fire', I'll try to make it a bit clearer.
While the mission itself is capped at a level where you can only use the powers of level 6 and below, any timed/duration buffs you have in effect when you enter the mission zone remain in effect until they expire normally. This is why you are spamming the inspirations before you run over and into the mission after all.
So if you pop Hasten just before you click on the mission entrance, once you are inside you are still Hastened, even though that power icon is now dimmed and unavailable to click. When the timer for the Hasten buff runs out, the buff drops as normal. The Electric secondary offers Energize (regen boost and endurance reduction) and Power Surge (massive damage resists) which are used to pump up your Brute before entering the mission (as is Hasten).
While /fire has a slightly more damaging aura, /electric offers useful buffs later in the build, which is why it is the preferred choice between the two.
Not sure how power surge and energize are relevant when claws/elec is supposedly so much better from 1-50.
And once you get burn you can pretty much start doing regular fire farms. -

Quote:Id buy it <.<. People would still farm btw.
EDIT: But why stop there? AE farms are still a massive problem, why not put XP up on the Paragon Market? Buy a level 50, only 1600 points! -
