While I realize what you're trying to do, you're picking the wrong set to do it with.

FA isnt the "Jack of all trades" set, and while I know you would love to do what you tried with FA, it won't happen. with the 16% def you have there, you can get the same effect with just one purple. FREE.

Pick either recharge, or defense. Don't try to balance 5 different things on FA, as it's squishy enough with just going for what it's built to do. Kill. Especially with no reliable mitigation in your primary (No, stuns are NOT reliable.)

sorry but no. Counting load times is rediculous. I have 2 different computers I can use. One is a uber sweet vid card, dual monitor, quad core.

one is....totally not. The load time on my other comp is probably 3 times as long as on this one.

Same internet, same toon, totally different comp. But, my toon suddenly sucks cause my other comp I use sometimes does? Yea....using load times to calculate anything pertaining to a killer once INSIDE the mission is anything but brilliant.

As for invul hurting against exotic, just grab some huge insps from the BM. 2 helps neuter numina's psi attacks rather well.

Assuming AE farms, I can't recall not having the groups so clumped up around me that I'd have to reposition if I weren't SS.

The Stone will cost less to get to where you want it to be

The Invul will be more flexible and adaptable and damn near stone survivability anyway considering the IO's you can use. And that's even before the corrs/fenders/trollers buff you to the gills.

Invul, hands down, gets my vote.

Since I suck at math, the only correction is that the brute doesnt need to go blue side. He gets it anyway at 41.

Claw/Fire/Mu does indeed put out more AoE Carnage than SS/Fire/Mu

Best thing SS has going for it however is (obviously rage) but....Knockdown. It's why SS/Fire is safer, but not necessarilly the best.

I'd trust Bill's math. It's all personal preferance after that. Flavor to taste. SS/Fire/Mu has the KD to help it survive. Claws has a metric ton of damage. It's all in what you like.

I'll still to my SS/Fire personally, as the KD has me spoiled.

Sacrafice what for burn? A travel power? You're farming. Not running a marathon.

One thing I see, Agile.

I do believe your slotting in your passives are what gives your your def-debuff resistance. With just having it one slotted, you're not getting your full def debuff resistance.

Elec doesnt have the ST damage to farm effectively. Cones, sure...but that isnt gonna help against bosses.

yea, I kept DBServer dissconecting when the server says "unknown" on that page. Already tried that. Was mucking about on Guardian till then.

If you tried logging into a server that was still down, it wouldnt connect to the server, hence loss of connection.

edit: Logged into Guardian on second account, switched to my first and it lost conn. Give it time for all to come online and they should stop glitching out I would hope.

Is granite a tough cookie? You betcha! Probably one of the cheapest IO'd toons to actually make tough, since out of the box, it's tough as hell to take down.

Do people ever refer to Granite as a "stone" anymore? That should say something too. Stone sucks. Period. Till granite.

However, no. You won't be farming with a granite. Granite is slow (No matter how many GotA's you put in it, it's still slow. you have basically sprint speed, and need IO's to get there. ugh.) And, curbs defeat you unless you lock into the TP pool

I didnt look too deep into your build, just the basics, and...it's granite. Nothing major. However, leadership on a brute build is a waste imo. I'm a huge advocate of Invul>Granite. With IO's, an Invul can do just about anything a granite can do, but better. That includes walk up curbs, jump up ledges, hit over 45% def (with one in invince. Mine sits at 38% with nothing in invince), no damage penalties, no recharge penalties, etc.

Not saying you should roll invul. It's a lot of cash to invest to get incvul to that level. Like I said, out of the box, Granite is great at what it does. Forget who said it, but granite is pretty much "King of this spot right here"
