    And never could with the 30s rule being in the game from the start. (Well since they added extra costume slots anyway.)

    Don't get me wrong I'd like to see it gone I just find your above reasoning flawed.

    For single key useage you would need a bindloadfile system and each buff per team member would need three text files to load in sequence...

    1a.txt:
    numpad1 "teamselect 1$$powexecname clarity$$bindloadfile c:\binds\1b.txt"

    1b.txt:
    numpad1 "teamselect 1$$powexecname sonic thing$$bindloadfile c:\binds\1c.txt"

    1c.txt:
    numpad1 "teamselect 1$$powexecname something sonic$$bindloadfile c:\binds\1a.txt"

    So each time you hit the key it would load up the next bind file for that key... Also probably want a key that rebinds the numpad keys to default sets...

    However I found that having a team select key and a power execute key were far simpler.
  8. A Shadow Step (see GW) or as mentioned like the Brute power that teleports you to your target wouldn't be a bad thing exactly... having used TP quite a bit you can close easily if they are against a solid object but TPing close to a flying mob can be very difficult.
  9. BP get arcs in Striga IIRC, at least one of which gives a temp power to help combat them (Holy Shotgun).

    The simplest version is...
    Do the same instance/cave/whatever over and over to beat the final boss for loot/to get a certain item.
    Thats about it. We are ofcourse talking about extremly rare loot and usually a very powerful boss.
    And usually you need the rare loot to be considered worthy in other players eyes... Creating elitesm.(hi WoW)

    Not always the case, normally you raid to acquire items that allow you to progress to a harder level. For instance I raided with my Guild in WoW at Karazhan (spelling?) this was a fairly easy end game instance, the items I could have gained from here would have helped me had we/I moved on to a harder instance. In CoH terms it would have been like doing lots of STFs to get purple IOs making it possible to raid LGTF.. though obviously in CoH itemisation is far lower and even someone purely slotted with SOs can raid either.

    Yes there is a certain amount of 'My gear is cooler than yours' in any MMO, I'm sure there are people in CoH who get purple sets for the kudos of having a full set rather than the actual real world benefit that said set actually gives them.

    Though from what I have seen on my own PvE realm most of the gear that people got for coolness stakes was stuff you needed to grind for or be in the right place at the right time, invisible tiger mounts, mounts that normally only dropped for the opposite faction. Or items that only dropped once in the servers history. Those were cool and did have a wow factor, but most of the gear you got from end game instances was possible for everyone to get providing they put the time into earning them... or bought the gold to buy them off the AH.

    @OP:
    Personally I wouldn't want to see a level cap increase, or a system whereby I could add slots/powers to an existing level 50. I would like to see more end game content that isn't grinding the same missions over and over or PvP, but for me and I suspect a large proportion of the player base CoH is more about the journey and less about the destination. If I want to raid I can play several games that put far more emphasis on raiding, CoH is the best game for the journey though... probably why I keep coming back.

  14. Peace Bringers are natural and have innate fly.

    Ultimately you can fudge most powers in the game if you include Technology as a basis, if you opt for pure Natural then it would be much harder.

  16. I have a claws/wp scrapper @ 22 (ish) who would appreciate the team. Natural origin.

    However travel powers are easy enough to fudge, want flight? Get wings, Want jump get piston boots, wings or jump pack. Same for the others only SS isn't easy though I suppose winged boots.

    But sure count me in.

    Not sure about this. Knockdown & knockback are the same thing and knockdown will become knockback if you enhance it enough.

    But Knockup is always knockup, if you enhance it it should become knockup even higher AFAIK (with the usual bit of sideways movement) but will never become proper knockback.

    Psionic Tornado (Controller Epic) does knockup but on low mobs (green/grey) it often wends them flying backward (outward) as well, so knockup can be knockback as well. Higer mobs often just get knocked down so it can also be knockdown.

    I still don't see why an agro magnet would want a stealth power but if you do the stealth pool would give you more bang for your buck IMO. (Set bonuses excluded of course.)
  19. Hmm, OP is a tank, why in hell do even want a stealth power? And if you do wouldn't the pool stealth be better as that actually grants +DEF whereas the +Stealth IO is just a stealth and has no +DEF.

Friend mentioned this last night while fighting Carnies Villain Side, the rapiers that the carnie minions weild would look very nice for DB or Katana/Ninja Blade (Personally I figured just DB), and the fact that BS seems to have far more unlockables than any of the others it'd be nice for some of the other weapon sets to have funky glowy weapons.
  23. Seems a bit stupid to get a badge for getting a respec if you don't pick a respec. And frankly with the difficulty of actually getting a trial team together due to everyone and his/her pet fish already having vet or recipe respecs (or inf to buy one) I'd prefer it to be the case that they changed the availability of 'unearned' respecs than change the text on the badges of the earned ones.
