If your character(s) have the Self Destruction power in their power window, you have the costume pieces, you're just not looking for them closely enough.
-
It still spits out it's ink attack. It's just not anywhere near as potent as the AoE tentacle smack.

While it's an admirable idea, it's not going to happen until they have more raid type situations for it to be used on. BaB and I talked a lot about it back when Hamidon was revamped. He made it clear to me that while there is only one (two now) raiding situations in the game on a permanent basis, there's not enough need to warrant the time in creating a more robust raiding group control/interface.

Quote:For the first 3+ years of the game, that was exactly the case. Only one way to get the badge.
My search of this site seems to indicate that you can ONLY meet these guys in the first opening missions of character creation. I find that hard to believe, since there's a badge for it - but you never know. -
simple answer is, look at the intended level range for the zone the monster is in. lower the level, easier the monster

Unless you really have a need to get your new card or system during the holidays, I'd advise doing what I plan to do, save and wait until closer to release, when we've been given specifics. Things will only get cheaper.

I use those Bronze rolls, or even 15-19, when I'm looking for KB protection or Res/Def for my characters. Occasionally I strike gold and get a +regeneration Unique.

You should have specified you were talking about MM Serum sooner. I thought for a minute you were talking about Crab Spider Serum, and we would have had words.

Quote:Step 1 would be to get all the Accolades with Stat Buffs, or handy powers, if you haven't already.I've been wanting to find ways to improve my level 50 Master Mind for PvP and PvE encounters alike. To be frank...my original Master Mind is the only character I can seem to stay on for any real length of time. I really enjoy this character and was hoping people could give me advice on what to do now that I'm at the big Five-Oh.

Quote:You mean the 2 or 3 of them in the entire game that have street hunts in effected zones?
Trying to complete a Task Force with any hunt mission has pretty much become a gamble.
Truly, my advice is look before you leap, check the TF, and don't run it during the events if it's going to be problematic for your team or your calm. -
Quote:Me too. In the beginning my armor was partly registration date and sheer number of posts. Now it's that plus a heavy ratio of favorable to unfavorable, with most of the un's being grayed. When I was reading the rep I received, I always felt a profound sense of joy when the comment showed that the person clearly intended to give me negative rep, but they had no Rep Power and it was just a grey bit. A good third of my neg rep was greyed out.

The qualitative nature of Art is subjective. The basic definitions of whether something is or isn't artistic expression aren't. Trying to argue that something is or isn't art is a tactic people have used for a long time to promote their own brands of intellectual snobbery. It avoids the real point of the discussion, the qualitative nature of a work, and whether it has or even needs value in order to be a good thing.
That's why I said your stance is close minded. It completely short circuits the truly valuable avenues of discussion available, the ones where people can learn and express their feelings. -
Quote:I just wanted to point out, if you want to reply to me, you should quote me accurately.I just wanted to point out here that you've made an effort to frame your opinion as "self evident" (the implication is 'art is art, because I said so!'), and then turned right around and called me closed minded because I'd said something that was contrary to it.
This is ironic.
It's not 'art is art, because I said so' it's 'art is art, because most of humanity says so'
Since you haven't adequately explained why it ISN'T art, I'll go along with most of humanity on this one. Demanding that everyone else make the case to your satisfaction, when you're the one with the divergent opinion is what is close minded, especially when you try to maintain the veneer of open mindedness.
Now, if you actually want to discuss what I said, instead of cherry picking my post, feel free. -
That's a good look too. I actually like it better than mine.

Based my idea on Xzero for quickness' sake. I'd probably make a few more color changes, but I used a few details I thought were missing.

Quote:They'd have to do a lot of the same work it would take to make Base Raids work (stabilize small high load instances, create a queuing system for teams to match each other without outside coordination, etc). To boot, that same work would have to be applied to maps that aren't designed for it.
This would fill in the gap made by the currently disabled base raids and I imagine would be far easier to implement than the work needed to fix the CoP trial.
<insert Standard Code Rant here>
"easy" is not the word I'd use to describe it. -
More accurately the latest attempt to improve and stabilize base raiding failed so they disabled it, and implemented the changes to base editing to throw people a bone.
-
Crab Spiders aren't too hard to build really mine is a Hovering/summoning build, so no melee attacks, no O-Bomb, focus on pets, Ranged AoEs, the Patron Immobilize, and for set bonuses I build for Ranged Defense and Recharge.

I've gotten more positive rep for changing my avatar than anything I've said or contributed otherwise.

Quote:You did the same arc 4 times in a row and you're complaining that the devs are unimaginative?Reading over, I guess I could understand why people got aggrevated with the 'tone' so to speak, of my post. It was after for the 4th time in that day that I was doing Tina's arc, and it just made me think how un imaginative can you get.
I just find it funny you all seem to have this thing about backing everything thats so horribly wrong in CoH as if its your husband/wife. Please!
And please stop putting words in people's mouths. Most people here are pointing out that you lack a sense of perspective. That's all. No one's really defending the game's right to be bad in some aspects, they just have a point of view that says when given the choice between re-doing the old, and having new things to do, new things are a better use of development time and money. -
Quote:They basically reworked the entire crafting table system twice within the course of that beta, all because of player feedback.Common IOs being purchasable was I believe due to player suggestions during I9 beta.
They also extensively reworked how Vault Storage worked, and added several locations on the fly.
There's so many little (and big) things that go on in every closed beta that are changed for the better due to feedback.
