The problem is that reply happens client side.

When you reply the client just tries to send a tell.

To allow trial accounts to reply the reply function would either need to be moved to the server or the server will have to be changes to check the recipient before it denies.

I like the second idea because then you can send tells to anyone who has messaged you while you were on.

I really was going to repost the pics (still no new camera) but I don't think Mod8 feels like deleting the thread every year after it spins out of control.

Character Stats: Level 45 Magic Defender (Empathy/Radiation Blast)

1) What’s in a name? : Mr NoPants (before we were married) wanted me to talk in his IRC room but didn't like my online alias (Blond Bimbo) so he asked them if they had any ideas on what to call me. They decided I should be LISAR (real name is Lisa) and that is should be in all caps.

2) What’s in a job? : I had never played a MMO and didn't want to be combat based because I didn't think I would be able to keep pace with my husband's scrapper (then a Dark Melee/Regen) in combat. I have since moved on to other classes, I do enjoy a bit of scrapping and blasting but not tanking or controlling. My other two favorite characters are my Fire/Kinetics Corruptor Rasil and my Dual Blades/Dark Armor scrapper Super Lemon.

3) What’s in a game?: The customization is really great I actually started playing this because when I first started dating Mr. NoPants I played those online doll dress up games a lot and he said I might enjoy dinking around with the character creator while he was at work. I do think the game could use some asymmetry similar to what robot hands can do.

4) What’s in a story?: When I started I linked up with MNPs super group the Wolf (WoIf) Pack on Justice. One time they took me to Portal Corp to sidekick with them on a farming mission and I asked on Ventrillo what a farming mission was. They told me we had to save the dieing world we went to by getting a bag of seeds from a NPC near the entrance and planting them where we defeated groups of bad guys. They then kept yelling at me for not planting between groups and I kept jumping from the group to the entrance trying to find the NPC and when they had defeated everyone they said they would have to start over since I didn't grab my seeds and help.

5) What’s in a friend?: I normally play with a group known as the Wolf Pack (spelled WoIF Pack in game). I also have a few of my own SGs (Original Perfections on Champion) that are mostly seeded with W.P. members who wanted to play on different servers and hadn't started a base yet. We normally meet up in Vent and decide on where we are heading. This game just is more fun with people you can joke around with and talk to, even on PUGs I try to chat people up.

6) “What got you into MMOs?” My husbands addiction and the great character creator.

7) “What new MMO are you looking forward to?” I can't wait to see DCUO especially after I was throughly disappointed by Champions Online.

So when someone said they wanted big ole claw swiping hands and a red name said "wait till mutant booster" or whatever...did he mean AFTER mutant booster?

I bet the exploit that lets you swap MF also lets you swap SM and that is delaying the release of the pack...

Current development view of the game lore trumps in game lore.

When the developers are pushing the story forward if they hit a snag they will retcon in game lore.

This makes the current developer view the most reliable source.

It would also help those who wan to buy and resell to vendors.

But this is not the suggestions forum.
