Yup, exactly like how superheroes and supervillains fight.
Well Super Speeder drive bys? That's how Wally took out Brainiac/Luther in JLU.
Whenever a GL locks down an opponent they do win.
Kiting can be seen in almost every chase scene.
I've seen some comic book ninjas bunny hop but there aren't a lot of supers with jumping based powers.

    See the difference?
Is the difference that we can make anime cat girls already?

and to be honest, the OP was one in a series of troll posts by O_I, there are already 3 threads in the pvp forums (which the devs don't pay attention to after being up for years) to accomplish what you want here.
PvP was given it's own section, maybe this should be moved ^_^.

Some other people in this thread don't like the idea of the E-mail poll. Some say it's unneeded, others say it's a bad idea because of all the flaws inherent in voting (missing the voting day, not knowing what to answer, etc etc)

Just wondering which side of the polling problem you two were on. I honestly think it's a simple and fine solution to the whole argument.

    -Rachel-
An email poll isn't a perfect answer but it's a damn decent one. But if a change to the naming scheme was voted down I don't think these threads would stop.

Why would I have anything to say about it?

I don't know if an automated poller is ready to go when needed, if this registers high enough for the developers to consider using one, or if the developers have spare time to set it up and go.

I have no prejudice against polling if thats what you want to know though.
  10. Did anyone else read SPs numbers post as "10% of the players base wants a change that effects 100% of the player base"?

I have been trying and unable to buy the City of Heroes Going Rogue™: Complete Collection Item Pack from the NC Store for more then a week now.I have been receiving a message, quote:

I've contacted the NC Support and they told me this happened due to the Risk Management security feature, that detected my account as a security risk. The point is,I have been a client for more then 9 months, and acquired all of the other City of Heroes Booster packs.I have been trying to buy the mentioned booster pack for over a week now. I have never received this error, and my friends have been able to acquire the Booster Pack normally.

I am looking forward to see this issue resolved as soon as possible.
As I said,I've already acquired every single booster pack for COX,including the GR Pre-sale on the first day.

    Thank You for you time.
...did you ask why you were flagged as a security risk?

Do paper missions, rob bank, be introduced to new contacts.

I don't know a way to go straight to a new contact.

it took you almost 2 years to understand what was going on with pvp and all it took me was reading beta patch notes. get over yourself and give me a little more respect or don't and just keep on doing the trademark bandwagon flame, insult and telling others to ignore me for not being a part of the trademark bandwagon group and then end up agreeing with me about things almost 2 years down the road when your brain actually starts to process and comprehend things.

eat more crow and less trademark bandwagon.
And how are all those PvP adjustments in the last 5 issues been workin out for ya?

Let's we do this DC's method.

We can incorporate it into the plot like PD.

So some Crey Tech guy finds a way to give even more people super powers (of their choosing no less) and starts registering them with exiting super powered (and retired/dead supers) names.

Then he reveals he has a massive off switch and creates a huge tragedy when it suits him best and everyone who elected to use someone else's name become depowered mid game.

Kidnap victims get murdered, flying heroes fall to their death, heroes get burned alive trying to rescue families form burning buildings.

Lex Luther sometimes makes me tingle.

I can see how it could be done (if I make presumptions about how the information is organized) but with the touchiness of our character copy tool (which should just import one record over to the database) I'm not sure that sort of massive modification makes me comfortable in this environment.

Just seems there's so much inflexibility becoming more painfully obvious.
