I believe you have to wait until the ambushers have entered the room with Reichsman before you can click the failsafe devices. I'm not sure though, as I haven't run a Stalker through that SF yet, just going off team chatter from other runs.

Shield Defense characters still have the hiccups in this build.
-
Quote:I get the stutter any time the shield is out (for any reason) while Hovering or Flying. This occurs with the Raptor Pack temp as well. I tried both costumes with Wings and without, but only the female model. No stuttering while using the Jump Pack.This has worked for me several times without fail:
* Log into BS/Shield Scrapper (female)
* Toggle on Deflection, Battle Agility
* Toggle on Hover
* Move around; laugh at seizures character is having
* Press Whirling Sword; wonder why character is using spin emote with a sword
* Toggle off Hover, toggle on SJ
* Jump; seek glass of water to cure hiccups
[Edit:]
Just tested SD/WM and I get the stutter while jumping using Combat Jumping and Super Jump with the shield (only) out on a male character. The stuttering occurs while the space bar is held down and also occasionally while falling. It seems to be any time in the normal jumping pose, but not when doing the walking and wind-milling animations. It even does 2 or 3 "jump" audio loops when jumping with just Sprint on. And stutters when falling in this case too. It seems to be both the left hand forward (Mace drawn) and left hand out (no weapon drawn) jumping poses. -

In the order that I played them...
Naram-Suen (Mind/TA Con) ... 27 -> 28
Commander Cole (PB) ... 38 -> 39
Goombah (SS/WP Bru) ... 14 -> 23
Green Fuse (Ele/DM Tank) ... 6 -> 8
Gut Check (DB/WP Tank) ... 43 -> 44
Sky Captain (Arch/En Bla) ... 32 -> 35
Fiery Ash (Fire/Dark Corr) ... 26 -> 27
The Upwelling (Dark/SM Tank) ... 35 -> 36
Cypherman (Ill/Son Cont) ... 25 -> 29
Nature's Cure (Plant/Emp Cont) ... 43 -> 45
Lots of solo play here and there with only 3 sessions long enough to team. -
It's not a stacking artifact, all three of the Heal specials that add +Reg or +Rec are enhanced by slotting in the power containing them. I haven't tested the Miracle recently, but I confirmed both of the others before my previous post.
-
Quote:Actually you don't; the OP is correct. Your screenshots show that.I... don't think this last part is correct.
Under the power-monitoring window the procs and the powers are shown as separate.
So yes, you can boost the proc effects, but you'll need to boost your base values for your HP and Endurance.
Since there is no +Rec slotted in Health you can't see that effect, but you can see the +Reg being enhanced by the slotting in Health. In the first picture you see your Reg at 0.97% HP/s. Normal game Reg is expressed as a percentage of full health regained in 240s. So multiply that by 240s to get the in game valuation of 232.8% Reg.
Now, if the Numina's special wasn't enhanced you'd expect that to go to 252.8%, or 1.05% HP/s. You also pick up a 12% Set bonus, which is 0.05%, so without the enhancement effect your Reg rate should be 232.8% + 20% + 12% = 264.8% or 1.10% HP/sec. If the Numi is enhanced you expect an additional 0.799 times 20%, or 16% Reg which equals 0.07% HP/s. So, 1.10% HP/s if it doesn't get enhanced and 1.17% HP/s if it does.
In the second screenshot your overall Reg is 1.17% HP/s. Also, the Numi reads not 0.08% HP/s (20% Reg), but rather 0.15% HP/s (36% Reg). The Numi is indeed being enhanced by the IOs slotted in Health. -
I'm tired of seeing the inaccessible base on the coalition list and thought I'd at least post on the forums and send in a support request before consigning the SG to the dead pool.
-
I'm looking to regain control of this SG, which seems to have been abandoned.
We (Midnight Avengers) gave our second base away to a player who wished to make a Repel Ball arena about 2 years ago. Unfortunately he didn't live up to his promise of returning control when he quit. So this SG appears to have been inactive since around I13 release.
I'm looking for anyone who still has a character in this group. -
I reconsidered my various options and bought a FX 7600 GT 512MB DDR2 card today. I just couldn't bring myself to budget the time to do more than a straight video card swap and I couldn't find info on the DDR3 version's power usage.
Thanks for the advice everyone. -
I'm not even sure there is an AGP version with 512MB of DDR3. All I can find are 256MB DDR3 and 512MB DDR2. Since power consumption and heat dissipation are both issues with this machine I wonder which I'm better off with. I don't have power consumption info for the DDR3 card, but in most other cards the faster RAM dramatically increases the juice needed. The slower card I'm sure fits in my energy budget, I may just play it safe and use that.
FX 5200 Ultra 128MB -> FX 7600 GT 512MB DDR2 is still a major upgrade on the graphics. Plenty for just fiddling with power customization I think.
[Edit:]
Looking at the pricing on the DDR3 cards, I'd be better off selling the machine I have for parts and building a new one with PCI-E, and that's more time than I'm willing to spend on this. The machine just isn't worth adding a $140 card to. DDR2 it is. -
I've had a similar problem, though not identical, with a sticking Alt key. The key doesn't actually stick physically, but sometimes if I alt-tab away from and back to CoX it acts as if it is stuck down. It may be related to the chat bug, with extraneous alts getting put in the input stream.
-
Sounds like a consensus for the 7600 GT, which is what my opinion was before I let my ATI fan friend talk me out of my prejudices (I haven't bought an ATI card since the first version of the All-in-Wonder Pro).
Now if I can just find one with 512MB of RAM (I can only find a 256MB version atm). -
Well, I don't do anything serious with graphics under Linux on that machine.
I've used the 7600 GS on Linux (Red Hat and Ubuntu) before at it worked fine. I know at least one person who has used the 7600GT (now has a 7900GT) with Ubuntu. I'm on RH on that machine atm, but I'm sure I can get any of the 7 series nVidia cards to work for what I need.
AMD lists drivers for all the Radeon cards under Linux on their support site. I'm not sure if they actually work though. -
I'm looking for advice on the relative merits a few video cards.
Quick background: I have a Linux machine I use mainly for work, but occasionally play games on it (I have a hard drive with Windows XP specifically set up for that purpose). I mostly play CoX; either solo, doing marketing or messing with costumes. With Power Customization now in beta, I've been thinking I'd like to improve the graphics on this machine to give BABs and co. their due since I'll probably add messing with customization to the list of time sinks.
However, this is an older AGP machine with a 300W power supply and just adequate cooling. Given the life expectancy of the machine and the marginal utility of adding graphics capabilities to a machine not intended - or frequently used - for serious gaming I don't want to spend the money it would take to replace the PSU, cooling and buy a video card. So I'm looking at options for a simple swap from the current nVidia GeForce FX 5200 Ultra in the machine . A card so limited that I'd swear it actually did the "muttley laugh" when I tried to run Neverwinter Nights 2.
The cards I've identified as available and able to be swapped directly for the 5200 under the constraints of my power supply are:
nVidia GeForce 7600 GS
nVidia GeForce 7600 GT
nVidia Geforce 7800 GS
ATI Radeon X1650 Pro
ATI Radeon HD2600 Pro
ATI Radeon HD2600 XT
I know there are other cards that might work, such as older versions of the Radeon 3850, but the GDDR3 versions of the 3850 that I can find eat way too much 12V amperage.
So, basically, I'm looking for opinions on how well these cards work with CoX. Any comparisons with the 7600 GS would be most useful, since I've used that card and consider it the "fall back" upgrade since it's cheap, readily available and uses very little power.
So far the only opinion I've received is that the 7600 GT and X1650 Pro are comparable to each other and better than the 7800 GS (and the 7600 GS, of course). -
They did finally fix the set to work in sub-50 pets.
As for where to put the set, I think I'd advise splitting them 3-and-3 since the 4, 5 and 6 bonuses are pretty pedestrian if you don't do much damage yourself.
I don't have much experience with them in henchmen other than verifying once that they weren't working in Drones or Prot Bots. So I don't really have any advice there, other than to agree with not using the BU proc in the Lich and Prot Bots. Though, using 3 in those pets might be useful for getting other enhancement in without surrendering Damage. -
It should heal 20 HP at level 18. At level 50 it's 53 HP healed. If you are getting less than that, then something is wrong.
While fighting it is roughly equal to a Regen buff of ToHit * 10% * 5% * 240s / (Activation + Recharge). If you're casting CB every 4s and have a capped 95% chance to hit then it is equivalent to a 28.5% Regen bonus while you are fighting. -

I have a level 25 Aegis Mez Resist IO in a level 1 Auto Power. I notice it's effects in the Combat Attributes window at level 50. But yesterday, as I was running an ouroboros arc and was exemplared to level 39, the benefit disappeared from Combat Attributes. I thought that it should be working when I am any level > 22? My Impervious Skin Mez resistance bonuses (level 11) did work when exemplared btw.

The Aegis Mez Res and Force Feedback +Rech are both oddly implemented; sort of a proc that grants a Set Bonus. The last time I checked (I13) neither worked when Ex/Mal, regardless of the levels involved. -

Some of the PVP sets also offer some Slow resist (10%), but they're very hard to get and are very expensive at the market.

And those bonuses only works in PvP.

I found that Javelin Volley does offer it as a PVE set bonus, but not sure about the other sets :\

Shield Wall, Gladiator's Armor, Fury of the Gladiator and Gladiator's Javelin are all PvP only. I didn't realize Javelin Volley broke the mold. Paragon Wiki lists Gladiator's Net as being PvP only too. -

Why do you have to pay to list, then pay to sell? Sounds dumb to meh.
[/ QUOTE ]
The fee is 10% of the sale price, with 5% of the list price up front. The latter is done to keep people from repeatedly listing the same item at increasingly lower amounts until they find the high bid. -

Hey i really cant find it anywhere, even in mid builder. So i might aswell throw the question out here. Im a claw/regen and i no debuff resistances powers, and it truly is a big problem. Getting debuff in recharges or endurance can get me in a really ugly situation (jumping into a group of mobs only to get hit by a sapper so i loose all endurance can mean a fast trip to the hospital)
So my question is, am i blind or are there some IO sets that can help me get debuffresist (end/recharges mostly)
Or maybe some power pools i could take ??

The Winter's Gift Universal Travel set has Slow Res, but that's about it. Your best bet is to go for +Def and use MoG when you can. -
[ QUOTE ]
I have it in Increase Density for my Corruptor. The benefit from both never goes away. And no, I don't have to hit someone with it for it to turn "on."
This would also work with the PvP IO +3 Def/Teleport resist, Impervious Skin +7.5 mez resist and Aegis Psi/Mez unique.
[/ QUOTE ]
All of those are indeed implement as Set bonuses and work as described except the Mes Res portion of the Aegis; which is a strange combination of a proc that gives a Set bonus, so that it not only has to be used to get the Mes Res, but has to be used 5 times to reach full strength.
