look for a npc he needs to be next to you
I believe you have to wait until the ambushers have entered the room with Reichsman before you can click the failsafe devices. I'm not sure though, as I haven't run a Stalker through that SF yet, just going off team chatter from other runs.

The OP is referring to the Baracuda Task Force. There isn't any Rescue/Kidnap NPC to bring anywhere.
As I recall, you have to click them in a certain order. Start with the one on the far left, and work your way to the right. If you click the wrong one, you'll get that message.

Left to right, of course, how could I have not known that? Kidding aside, thank you all very much i will try them in order after the ambushes enter next time.

But you are right.. I don't remember anything in any of the dialog that mentions to click them in any specific order. We know just from doing it a few times and finding it out the hard way. lol
I've done over a dozen searches and I still cannot find the information I need. Every time my stalker goes into one of the 2 little rooms at the end of the BSF to try and kill the ambushes, and clicks on one of the 4 spots (2 in each room), I get this message: "You Can't Complete This Objective Yet." What am I doing wrong?
