I also seem to remember a Dev post from a while back saying that it was a mistake to assume that just because new content was being worked on by people that bug fixes weren't being done, or even that the people working on new content could do bug fixes. There are different groups within the studio working on different things and there are always bug fixes and bug hunts going on even if the big red names aren't the ones doing it.
Bug fixes are grand, but it isn't either/or between new content and bug fixes.
[/ QUOTE ]
Exactly this. And people forget that we basically only hear about what the red names are doing... and as far as I know, none of the red names are actually the programmers that work on the low level stuff where the bugs generally always are. So if they 'devoted an issue to nothing but bug fixes', then basically all the red names would just be sitting around doing nothing.
People often also don't realize that bug fixing is the hardest thing a programmer will ever do, because a bug could really be caused by anything in the entire code base (some of it written by third parties, code they can't look at or modify). -

Excellent link, definitely should be instantly posted in any thread where someone even utters the word 'chat filter' -

Don't you mean CoX2? I want my damn villains, ya hear?
[/ QUOTE ]
The devs decided to put the "devs hate villains" rumor to rest with CoH2 by not including any villains for them to supposedly "hate."
[/ QUOTE ]There's actually going to be rather little to do, most of the game will be focused about working a 9 to 5 job and living in a small, single person apartment.
[/ QUOTE ]
So it's basically the Sims.
[/ QUOTE ]Yeah, but minus the dating/relationships. And the houses. Instead, everyone will just live together in hostels. -
It's called: Rigged costume contest. I've seen more than a few where a blank costume wins, or somebody that looks like they just pressed 'random' and used puke-colors for the outfit. All sorts of reasons for doing it, from being an [censored]-hat, to having an excuse to yell your SG's name in broadcast every 5 seconds for an hour straight.

Falcon Punch? Is that something from Tri-gun?
[/ QUOTE ]

Back in my day, F-Zero was a game about racing, and Capton Falcon couldn't destroy half the galaxy with just a punch. Also, back in my day, people could realize when I was purposely using every oppertunity I could get to say 'Tri-gu'n just to cause Fleeting_Whisper's head to explode
Wait, wasn't that a scene from Tri-gun?
[/ QUOTE ]
No, it wasn't a scene from Tri-gun.

I'm pretty sure it was a scene from Tri-gun. You know, when Ash the Stampede kills the android vampire slayer using his... whatever the hell this thing is? -

i just am talking about if they are in partys say.. not doing as good as mine.
[/ QUOTE ]Or, their party is doing better than yours. It's a tactical choice, put all your eggs in one basket or diversify so that you'll have much better odds of finding a working team. At the end of the day, it makes no real impact as it'll even out over time.

And who likes this color better then red?

Therefore it's unlikely that we'll ever see a Mac-native version of Mids Hero Designer.

unless it's a Developer's Choice arc
[/ QUOTE ]I thought even DC arcs still didn't contribute to the kill badges? Has anyone tested this or any source, I hadn't really thought about that before now... -
There's really a lot of ways you could go with that one... ignoring faction, a Bi-Form Warshade would be able to account for his shape shifting as well as several other of his powers. Some other options are SS/Invulnerability Brute, Broadsword/Invulnerability Scrapper, a Fire/something blaster, and probably many other options depending on which variation of him you use.

Semi-colon still works... it just seems that the default bind got changed for it for some reason.

I'm glad we still live in a society that believes people are innocent until proven guilty. -
How about '/ec' for 'Emote Command' that'll only execute the animated emotes (like angry and the others), and will spit out an error instead if the paramater given isn't for a known emote- while leaving /e, ;, and friends unchanged? That way, currently existing binds will remain working while having an option that won't accidentally make you look silly if you screw up the spelling of alakazamreact or some such special emote that lots of people still are surprised about?

I'm getting the same error, and according to the server status page, the TR is Unknown... so it's likely down.

Just tested my retired Grav/Ener, and Energy is far, far better that it used to be.
[/ QUOTE ]
Energy used to be an insanely good set in the lower levels (like 2-7), then somewhere around 10 or so it became an absolute joke of a set... I really hate that I'm going to have to roll Energy yet again!
Sure, my Plant/Psi dom is gonna need a major respec, but at least now I won't feel like I only have 2 powers from Psi Assault (Drain Psyche and PSW), so I'll be happy with counting it as a net win even for that characters (my Fire/Fire has needed an excuse for a respec for quite a while). -
Dominators come i15 will have much improved ST damage (similar to that of Blasters!), especially Energy and Fire. They don't really have any res/def until their Patron shields, but they do have the protection of the controls in their primaries.
Stalkers also have pretty good ST damage, as well as good res/def, rather high DPA, and a few scattered debuffs (AoE -tohit in AS, some in /Nin and Dark/ are quite notable).
You could also try a Bane, I've found mine to be lots of fun, with nice damage, lots of -Res, and some other fun toys.
Unless you list the powersets, I can't really list anything that might be different for you to try on Blue side
