  3. I don't use the PPP pet on this character, and I use Cardiac alpha to keep my end costs in check.

I have exactly 1 single target attack, but it is recharged before I can use it again, so it is an attack chain if I need it to be. With soft capped range/aoe and melee in the high 30's I very rarely worry about faceplanting.
  4. It is now $1326 instead of $1450, so $125. Thanks!

your PSU is overkill for your setup. a good 600W PSU would be fine.
The site flags anything less than a 750 watt supply, because of the graphic cards 'required specs'.

    • Do you really need to burn bluray
    • Paying extra for that NIC is a sucker's move
    • Why bother with watercooling when you can OC just as well on air (hyper212 is cheap as borscht)
    • Almost certainly don't need Windows 7 Pro

Get a 1GB 560Ti, drop the watercooling, drop the gimmick NIC, get Win7 Home, drop the bluray burner unless you really need it, get a decent 2GB HDD and don't fuss with RAID1. Your money of course, but I would also just order the parts off Newegg and assemble it myself. If that's outside your expertise/comfort zone, pay a pal a case of beer to do it. Save you some money.
Hard Drive: I have a spare 1TB I can install as backup, the RAID is will go bye-bye, I think I accidentally left that on when looking at stuff.

Power Supply: What would you recommend for a brand? Coolermaster, Corsair, and Thermaltake are the only options.

Video Card: Good, I don't want to pay the extra either, so I can drop down to the 1GB 560Ti no problem.

BluRay : It's just a reader (for watching movies), the writer bit is DVD, which I will use

NIC : They are tossing it in as a freebie, I can remove it from the PC, but it doesn't change the price.

Water Cooling: Honestly? I don't know what I'm doing with this at all. It was the default for cooling, so I left it there. Would stock be fine here, or should I look at one of the larger heat-sync type set ups? (~$20)

Windows: I can drop that down to HOME no problem, save some $ too.

    Thanks!

    Best,
    -MT
In Keyes, the spiderlings and disruptors aren't worth pulling out (IMHO) until the AV fight. The pulse will kill them, and they run all willy-nilly.

In Lamba they are fine for the street sweep and AV phase, but the acid/nade rooms they tend to go willy-nilly again and they end up fighting stuff you don't care about.

In BAF they are awesome *all* the time, from extra damage to AVs to clogging choke points in the prisoner escape.

I keep them alive using Barrier (and I run 2x asslt, tactics, manuevers), and generally don't have a problem with them dyingall that often. I use the LORE pets against the AVs in Keyes and Lamba, and during the escapee phase of BAF, they are welcomed DPS/crowd control.

I have the spiderlings well beyond permanent, and the disruptors about 5 seconds from perma on my build. In normal PVE content (including ITFs and the like) I pull them out all the time and never worry about them dying.

Methinks my wife would frown on that.
But beer, chat, and autograph... I think she'd be OK.
  11. She is smart. She is pretty. She is nerdy (in the best way possible).
I (obviously) don't know her, but I always get the feeling that she is just a very down-to-earth kinda gal that you could have a beer with and talk about just about anything.

    Good luck.

    Thanks for that link!

This is the one I am missing : http://wiki.cohtitan.com/wiki/Origins_Pack
  14. I have bought almost every booster, but I just *know* that there was one I missed... problem is I don't know which one.

My account page doesn't tell me (it just says 'perk' a lot). Is there some EZ way to know which packs I have and for me to deduce which one I do not have?

I'm thinking I would like to purchase the missing pack before i21 comes out and they are no longer available.

  16. I was on a BAF last night and someone had this insanely useful looking ball of lightning with the Defender's hurricane power running.

What pet is this, and what branch would it be under?
  17. Are you using the new updater? The old one is no longer supported.
  18. My Ice/Fire tank is torn between Diamagnetic and Reactive for the extra damage. He has 61% Def to S/L/E/N when EA hits 10 targets (easy enough to do in the iTrials), and 52% Def without it.

My understanding is that the -tohit buff from Diamagnetic will add measurably to my survivability in large spawn situations, but the extra damage will make me giddy when soloing (something I actually do with this tank).

I am looking for advice from the tanking community, what do you think I should do?
  19. I don't like the textured costume. It looks like Spider-Man's movie outfit, but unlike Spider-Man, it doesn't work for me here.
  20. My warshade is a girl, and she'll crush you under her giant lobster foot if you say otherwise! ;P
  21. Dat boi haz been hittin' da gym!
  22. The guy in front of the bug costume, and to the left of the big fella with the pony tail... looks EXACTLY like me. It's eerie.
