I can't recall the name of the mission right off hand, but I did play a mission where all the mobs either had the Ninjas Mastermind power, the Ninjitsu secondary power or both. Literally, it was "for every Ninja you see, there are two Ninja you don't see". (Except it was more like "eight ninja you don't see".
Personally, I would put a warning in there. Like "watch the shadows". -
Quote:Dark Age of Camelot has housing it in which (back when I was playing) was frequently used as guild housing. (You could set permissions on who could enter your house, and one of the options was 'only people in the same guild as me').I can't think of any mmo that is paid for that has anything like base editing. If there is, someone please point it out.
Basically, you could buy different sizes of house (from small cabin to multi-story house), and decorate both the inside and outside (all houses come with a yard). You could set up a Consignment Merchant to sell goods for you (think of it as a Wentworth's, but the only things for sale in it are things you put up for sale), and you could have NPC merchants on the inside of the house that offer various services (weapon/armor repair, selling basic items, etc.).
There was a pretty wide range of decorative items, including trophies that you could fashion out of the remains of some defeated enemies (dragon heads, taxidermied critters, etc.), and you could even put decorative weapons on the walls.
Now, one thing you really couldn't do was change the floor plan. If you had a particular size of house, it had the same floor plan as every other house of that size. But you could change everything else... wall color, floor color, where you wanted your NPCs to stand, etc. On the outside, you could change the wall color, roof color, etc., and even have stuff in your yard. Most people went for a decorative garden or things like that. I, on the other hand, went for 'redneck'. (Outhouse in the side yard, broken wagon wheels near the front porch....) -

I'd really like to see a Sonic secondary for Blasters. Obviously, they're not going to just port over Sonic Resonance, but it would be nice to see something to match Sonic Attack.

You cannot send invites to characters on the same account.
What you can do is invite someone else's character to your SG, promote him up, and have that character invite all of your alts. (Naturally, you'll have to log into each alt in turn to have them accept the invite.)
There is no way to directly transfer Inf to an alt. However, if you and the alt are both in the same SG/VG, you can store things in your base for your alt. This would require building up enough Prestige to have a Workshop with whatever storage containers (Enhancement table, Salvage rack, etc.). Just make sure all ranks of the SG/VG have permissions to take stuff out of the racks/whatever, and you can trade Enhancements and Salvage with your alts.
An easier way to do it would be to get another character involved. You trade Inf from your main to character X, and then X trades it to your alt. Some trust is necessary here, but most people aren't going to try and shaft you on this. -
Quote:Not all that long, in my experience. I had problems with my cable modem up until a few weeks ago, where my internet connection would randomly drop. (Replacing the cable modem fixed that, thankfully.)Actually, I believe the instance is preserved for a little while after you're gone. If you can log back in and get inside the mission fast enough, the progress should not reset.
However, I could lose my internet connection for as little time as a minute, and I'd have to restart the mission. Now, imagine that happening five times during a timed mission. Even better, I was running it at +1/x8. So I might get a group or two beaten before losing the connection, but when it's a mission that requires defeating all enemies and it keeps resetting but the mission timer doesn't reset..... let's just say I managed to speed through and complete the mission because I got lucky.
Of course, now, it's no problem. I've got to remember to set it back to +1 or +2 though. Running RWZ missions at +0 is boring. -
At the top of your powers tray (the tray with the little round icons for your powers), there is are several headers: Powers, Enhancements, Inspirations....
Click "Powers". That should open up a pane at the top of the tray that lists all the powers you have access to. (Powers that you haven't taken in your Primary/Secondary will be grayed out.)
At the top of that window is a header named "Combat Attributes". Click that. It opens up a window that breaks down all of your combat stats under a variety of categories. -

*nod* You can place the 'entry point' of the base on any supportable horizontal surface in the entry room. So if you build a layer of desks high above the floor, you can place the entry point there, and have stairs lead down into the the rest of the base to create the illusion of the rest of the base being a lower level.

He's not just a tanker. The Marcus Cole of Praetorian Earth is an Incarnate, just like Statesman.

Ostensibly, if someone has a lot of positive rep points, it means that they are making posts that people approve of, whether for factual and necessary information, witty commentary, etc. Likewise, if someone has a lot of negative rep, you can probably assume that they're known for being a jerk, troll, etc., and to take their posts with a grain of salt.

If the new cape mission being required before running the aura mission bugs you that much, run it at -1 diff/x1. It takes like 10 minutes, tops.

Hrm. I never had a problem with the "hunt carnies" missions.
I think it's the Bayside Docks area... anyway, the moored cargo ships usually have a Carnie group spawned there (if not more then one group), and if they don't just kill everything on the ships, circle around and wait for the respawns.
Probably the easiest way to rack up Carnie kills in PI is to find Master Illusionists. The mobs they summon count as Carnies, and usually fall pretty quickly if you have any decent damage-dealing capabilities. -
We have this already. It's called costume contests. Hero-side, they're usually held under the statue of Atlas in Atlas Park.

Blue Centurion, I did the same think for my Shield Defense/Super Strength tanker, and yeah, it only procs 5% of the time after you click Rage. That being said, the 6-slot bonus more then makes up for it.

For my level 50 Shield Defense/Super Strength tanker, I generally have the difficulties set at +1/x8, bosses, no AVs, for when I'm running Borea's RWZ missions.
It gets me more Inf, Prestige, and frankly, I ran a few of her missions at x1, and they're so quick and boring that it's no fun. But at x8, it's a blast.
For AE missions, I generally turn it down a little because it seems the new FOTM for AEs is to have all custom characters self-rez, which makes even the short missions tediously long. (I have no problem with long missions, it's just that if it's billed as short, I shouldn't have to spend five minutes clearing the first group because every single minion, LT, and boss self-rezzes.) -
Well, you can only have one of each (Biological Mutagen, Chemical Burn, Nuclear Blast), but you can have all three at the same time.
If you have all three, the order you want to drop them is:
Biological Mutagen
Chemical Burn
Nuclear Blast
This is because the Bio buffs your regen and your damage (including the Nuke), the Chemical debuffs your enemies Defense and Resistance, and the Nuke... nukes.
Unfortunately, I have no personal knowledge of how well these work. I'm only going off what I was told. -
Personally, I think the Arcane Power and Control items are so much larger is that there's also so much more in the way of Arcane decorative items. *sigh* Tech still has no walkways.

Quote:Honestly, one of the quickest ways to earn Prestige for a base is doing things like Borea's repeatable missions in RWZ at "count as eight heroes" (if you have a character that can manage it), in VG mode. Sell all the standard recipes, check pricing on any IO recipes at the Black Market (and sell for appropriate amounts any of the higher valued ones you get), and do the same with any salvage.Yeah I just wanted to earna bunch so I could add to my Villian base quicker , but it is not to be .
On my level 50 tanker, I've probably converted 300-400 million Inf to Prestige with this method. It would be more, but I have done several missions in a row without getting much worth selling at Wentworth's. Still, the Prestige for beating up large groups of Rikti helps. -
Quote:NopeIf you turned off XP and turned on SG mode and were over level 34, wouldn't that earn you only prestige?
Inf gain never drops below 50% in SG mode. -
I'd say the Martial Arts pack. Getting Ninja Run removes a lot of the pressure of "must have travel power at 14".
The body type change from the Super Science pack is nice to have, but it's largely either an RP thing or a costume change gimmick. -
Hate to break it to you, but the people who work for NCSoft are.... people. (As in not robots) So, it may take a couple days while they review the information, make sure of things, and then apply your proper Veteran badge.
