There's an option in the menu to suppress armor Fx on your own character when the camera is really, really close. Then, there's a command you can type in to increase the range in which this suppresses. This'll turn off all auras completely.
As for the actual command to do this, I don't know it myself. It's out there though. -
Doesn't matter how simple it is to you unless you're 24-boxing.
If you don't have an SG with 24 people you know and you end up getting a fair number of randoms, you'll always find the most brain-dead players on the server. While you're at the raid teleportal you'll have the one or two guys jumping around shouting "COME ONNNN LET'S GO" while the SG leader is trying to explain the encounter to everyone.
But if you do have a big SG, there's not really a problem on the first part, no. The only problem is deciding if it's worth the time to kill the storm AV or do something else instead. -
That's unfortunate, but that sounds like human error this time around.

I've found some other threads on the issue

The most common answer is to ask on the technical issues forum, but there's also this

The largest concentration of players, in my experience, is the Cap market.
No costume contests, though, but I havn't really seen one of those in Atlas lately either. -

They work differently, traps tries to place the thing in front of you, but if there's no nearby ground then you get the "target in air" error message over your head.
If you try to activate footstomp in the air, there is no error message, the power just doesn't activate.
Maybe this ground-check can be used with an invisible dummy trap as a workaround for Footstomp and other powers. -
My problem is that I have to have the backpack while I'm a bane in an alternate build.

Sorry, I didn't read the entire thread, but I just wanted to point out that there's a lot of special uses to Deceive to consider, such as getting AM or shield buffs from Rikti Guardians or the dispersion bubble from Force Field Generators, or making sure that Malta sapper wont be a problem before the fight even starts.
Even if you don't use it all the time, there'll be moments when it's even more useful than usual. -
I always take the ghost slaying axe if only because I really hate the animation of Sands of Mu.

I'd definitely use the air-warping effect over the costume-obscuring one that's present on live now. Bursting into flames when in combat also sounds really cool.
But what I really want to see are just those floating fiery rocks from thermal, except without the character itself being on fire. Same with the ice cubes from Frostwork for frost armor. -
I'd hold onto the power anyway. Even if it's low, it's hands-free damage.

Another vote for whips. Two of them have a small chance for knockdown, which isn't bad. They also have a chance for a small DoT, and a little extra damage is welcome.
Make sure you make it obvious that you're petless if you're ever going to team. You'll make things a lot easier for yourself and for the people bothered by it. -

In a good team I don't find it worth it at all, since you'll quickly outlevel them. Depending on the team though, I might also just buy accuracy DOs if we don't have defense debuffs.
But I don't really find it a waste of money, either. If you have one high leveled character, the amount you'll spend on DOs throughout your entire career is pocket change compared to what you get per mission.
So basically it comes down to how lazy I am. If I bothered to email money from my main or if I want to take the time to go to the store to buy DOs, stuff like that. -
It doesn't directly mention fitness there at all.

You were right, this is only slightly humorous.
But only slightly. -
Regardless, thanks for the quick replies.

I made nine level 25 regular +Damage IOs, and the progress meter only jumped once.
Likewise, I made three more today and it didn't jump at all. Right now it's standing at 8 out of 17 complete.
Is there some kind of hidden requirement or is this bugged to hell?
EDIT: Welp, the badge says "and", not "or". I see why I'm stuck halfway now... -
you're welcome

There's an area near the southern island of Neutropolis near the bridge (and on the bridge) with a lot of seers if you don't want to wait for the high-40s on hero side.
They still come in groups of one, though. -
I'd like to be able to see people's alignments in the target window without having to pull up their info window.
Also, on teams tips should state without room for interpretation what alignment they will push you towards. Also also, we should be able to choose to do a tip without receiving its alignment reward. I don't want to have to leave a team of friends because I'd push my alignment rewards back an entire day if I didn't. Likewise, I wouldn't want them to have to put off their tip missions because our destinies don't align. -
Today an Arachnos Soldier without Maneuvers from his secondary told my brute that she needed Taunt.

Do demons blow up immediately like zombies or after a few seconds like ninjas?
