It sells pretty cheap. I like to use it when fighting clockwork because it does knockback and they take extra. And I don't have a lot of attacks on the Posi task force.

On a 'real tank', I can just jump in and let an entire spawn hit me at once. On fire armor, I'll approach the spawn more cautiously so that I aggro SOME of them before the rest. I have a chance to use Healing Flames during the 'stretched out' alpha strike.
Use inspirations as fast as they drop. They make a big difference. If your inspiration tray is ever full, you aren't using them efficiently.
Burn makes enemies run around (i.e. stop hitting you) - and it recharges fast. Use it right off in a spawn too tough to handle and by the time they stop running, you'll have half of them dead.
And, my favorite move when everything is charged and ready to go:
Build Up
Fire Sword Circle
Self Destruct
Rise of the Phoenix
Profit.
Did you know that the Self Destruct power doesn't give debt? Did you also know that, once you trigger it, even if the enemy kills you, you don't get debt because technically you've already 'suicided'? You know that annoying bug that drops all your toggles when you zone? Have you noticed that it also instantly recharges every power you have? -
Ouch. You've got a 2.5% bonus eight times, so only five of them count.

It depends on the AT, powersets and player.
When they introduced the -1 setting, you could hear the cheering from the players who like to solo low-damage defenders.
On the other hand, that bug where you get Paragon Protectors at level 40 in the Manticore TF is back - and I don't care. My scrapper can defeat +5 Protectors solo.
In general, now that supersidekicking keeps the team level range pretty close, I would say you should try a setting +1 higher than whatever you used to use in the past. -
Well, my first thought would have been to mention that the settings don't work on task forces or Ouorboros missions, but you seem to have covered that.
My next thought would have been to mention that you need to 'force' a reset of a mission to get it to change, but you got a NEW mission to test it so you covered that.
My next thought: who did you get the mission from and what level are you? If you got it from a 30-35 contact and you're 35 . . . . well, it SHOULD still let you adjust the level, but sometimes it does not. Even before Issue 16. Considering how many small problems there are with the new systems, it may not let you upgrade the level (or not as far as it should) if you're at the max level for the mission. -

But as good experienced gamers we have the obligation to say "something isn't right here" and dammit, I am saying it.
DO NOT PRESUME TO SPEAK FOR ALL "GOOD EXPERIENCED GAMERS".

Odds are, this isn't something where he can just pop in and toss off a couple of sentences. It looks complex enough that he'll have to dig around to find the answers. You know, like when they were looking at Taunt effects and discovered that it worked differently from the way everyone thought it did.

Yes, back to the opinions again.
Unacceptable to *YOU*. I did the STF just a few days ago and I thought it was fine. Even the repairmen aren't that big a deal, *IF* you know to expect it. -

Why is Recluse Debuffing players Status effect Numbers?
My guess would be, because he's 'supposed to'. We've never been told what the towers do (or what his powers are) so there's no reason to think this is a bug.
Why are numbers Fluctuating?
IO's do that. Since it's for very short durations, and in the players favor, I don't think this is a significant issue.
When is it going to be fixed?
Probably never. The first issue may well be 'working as intended' and the second isn't really a problem.
They haven't done anything about the tower repairmen, or even acknowledged that it's a 'bug'. They have only acknowledged that their behavior changed due to a change to the enemy AI. -

What happened was that there USED TO BE a door there - but they tore out the building and put in the AE building. And someone forgot to remove the now-missing door from the list of mission doors. Still an error on their part, but just forgetting to update a list.
I've also gotten a mission door just OUTSIDE the AE building, perhaps 20 ft from the front door, where there is only blank pavement. Same situation (this was in another zone).
