    "Unfair"???
Invuln is one of the tougher sets in the game. No one should be able to stroll through high-end content with no assistance except maybe a stone tank, who pays for it with horrific penalties to movement, damage and recharge.

The weaknesses of invuln are reasonable and balanced.
  4. For whatever reason, those are very expensive compared to the Steadfast and Karma -knockback IO's. Maybe it's because just about everyone has a travel power so they are more convenient to slot.

I wasn't even counting the Warburg Technicians. Regular hostages have a degree of variability in dealing with stealthed characters. The Warburg Technicians will follow you unerringly even if you are running full invisibility.

    Hardly.
    1) It costs approx double the END of Sprint and MANY TIMES what Combat Jumping costs.
    2) Ninja Run suppresses in combat. Neither Sprint nor CJ suppress in combat.
  7. To clarify and expand on the two previous posts:

When you are OUTSIDE a mission, the person used to calculate all SSK levels is the TEAM LEADER.

When you are INSIDE a mission, the person used to calculate all SSK levels is the MISSION OWNER.

Example, you are level 50 and have the star. Everyone else on the team is a lower level and are SSK'ed to 49. You enter a mission belonging to someone who is level 40. When you enter the mission, your level drops to 40 even though you retain the star. Everyone else is either SK'ed up or exemped down to the level 40 mission owner. The actual level of the mission is based on the mission owner and his/her difficulty settings.

Um, actually we *DO* know their motivation. Go do the arcs in the Rikti War Zone, particularly Dark Watcher's and read all the text. We know EXACTLY why they attacked and it has nothing do with planetary conquest. Well, actually it kind of does, but it wasn't the Rikti planning the conquest. I can say no more!

    1) Have you received any emails from NCSoft lately? Are you sure they have your correct address on file and are not being blocked by a spam filter?

    2) When you say no badges after Trailblazer count toward your total, do you mean:
    a. A progress bar for the next 'number of badges' badge has not appeared? If so, there is no 'number of badges' badge after Trailblazer.
    b. Or do you mean that the total displayed at the top of your personal info window is not updating any more?

I believe that to be the case. We've always gone in with the assumption that the tank will get stunned unless we have multiple Clear Minds (or equivalent) stacked. Unless I'm misremembering, just about any tank can handle it with 4+ Clear Minds stacked. I've never experimented to see how many it needs, but I THINK I've seen a tank weather it with only four.

SOME do. There appear to be various types of hostages/escorts and, for lack of a better term, some are stupid.

Or, let me put it like this. If I took a year off from this game, under this policy, I'd never return.
Allow me to point out that such a policy is ALREADY in place. We're just discussing adjustments to the length of time inactive and character level to be immune to name loss.

You mean like when they announced the revamp of base editing that fell through? I don't expect stuff to get announced until it's relatively close to release - i.e. they know it works.

Staying dead for 2 minutes sends you to the hospital automatically.

    Yes. Day one.

Gas attacks. You could have a choking gas, a sleep gas, etc. There's even an example in film - The Spleen in 'Mystery Men'.

Though, I would propose to make it purge names from accounts that were unpaid (rather than inactive, since people do pop in for the increasingly-frequent "Free Activation Weekends") for more than a year, rather than 6 months.
When they refer to 'inactive accounts', the devs mean accounts that have allowed the subscription to lapse, i.e. 'unpaid'.

No. The term 'pseudo pet' is used when, in order to achieve specific effects, a power spawns a 'pseudo pet', which can neither be seen nor targeted, which then fires off the powers. This has led to some problems in the past since, from your point of view, you're firing the power but, from the game's point of view, your pet is firing the power.

I would estimate the drop rate for PvP recipes to be much higher. Perhaps in the ballpark of 1 in 50.

This has been officially denied. Praetorian Earth is *NOT* a 'mirror universe' where everything is reversed. It is an 'alternate universe' where many things happen to be reversed but many are simply different.
  24. Right off, what brand of power supply? I read a review of PSU's once where they drew more and more power until they 'shut down'. Some 400W PSU's 'shut down' by bursting into flames at about 350W draw. The best model was able to produce 495W before triggering a circuit breaker and shutting down gracefully.
