  1. Sign me up for team one. I'll have to see if I have anyone high enough for both arcs who doesn't already have Portal Jockey.

I think we can make some suggestions just from knowing that it's a fire tank. Fire has moderate resists but you can't really leverage resistance with IO sets. Fire also has an epic self-heal and you CAN leverage that with +recharge. I'd be looking at cranking up the defense and recharge.

It is directed at anyone who dares to the use the market for anything besides a garbage disposal for reward drops and a store for IO recipes. Could be. But what I think I've seen more often is that, once you explain how the market functions and how to use it to your benefit, the response is often, "That sounds like work! I'm here to have fun!" To a lot of players, probably most of them, the market doesn't seem at all fun.

Is it? I definitely agree that the market is not a source. But my impression is that 'regular players' greatly outnumber the farmers. Do the farmers have a high enough rate of production to outweigh their smaller population?

I've done enough farming to appreciate/estimate the improved efficiency. But I'm not a 'serious farmer' so I don't hang out with other farmers and have no clue how many there are.

Yeah, I can come up with stupid and irrelevant examples also, but it's not productive. We're talking about a *GAME*. This is just a LITTLE SIMPLER than your pointless comparisons. The game is rated TEEN and up, and trust me, plenty of teens have ZERO problem mastering every aspect of the game. The market is SIMPLE. A better comparison might be KNITTING. You can look at a sweater and have no idea where to start, but anyone can learn to knit.

Let's each add another pet to the list! Although since it starts with MM's, the wolf shouldn't be on there. The Warwolf Whistle is from a blueside arc.

So I'll add.... the Heavy Mech from RV! Heroes get the Longbow one and villains get the Arachnos one.

Well, the text over her head says 'City Rep'. Her actual name is Brighid Moreira, but that's not really useful to know.
  9. RP - Beats me. I don't RP.
PVP - Beats me. I don't PvP. I think most of them moved to Freedom.

Teams, TF - The key here is the global chat system. There are entire channels dedicated to forming teams and entire channels dedicated to task forces. Standing in a zone and yelling on broadcast won't cut it. I'm on the following channels and find them very useful:
    Inf Badge Seeker
    Infinity Hamidon
    AE Anonymous
(The first one SOUNDS like it's about badges, and kind of is, but it seems mostly about task forces to me.)

What would you say is Infinity's identity, or its unique qualities vs. other communities?
um... I dunno. Really, most servers don't have an 'identity', aside from Virtue = RP and Freedom = crowded.

    Why are you here?
It's home. I originally picked this server because I liked the name.

How does it rank in activity?
eh, it jumps around a lot. Used to be 3rd most of the time, I think it's mostly 4th now. During off hours (middle of the night) I've seen it anywhere from #2 to #8.

I remember reading that a particular shard has a lot of arena activity, and it wasn't Freedom. Was that Infinity, and if not, do you know which shard it is?
I think it *WAS* Infinity. We used to have a pretty big PvP population. But with the free server transfers, many of them went to Freedom.

    Say what?
How does being helpful equate to role-playing? I'm in PCSAR (Paragon City Search And Rescue) and I know a lot of Taxibots (Paragon Taxi Service) and most of the people in those SG's don't RP. Sure, one of the head honchos of the Taxibots IS a RP'er and there are RP'ers in PCSAR too. But they're not RP groups. They're exactly what you called them; service SG's.

Well, duh. Skewed toward ACCURACY, since these are the people who actually KNOW. As opposed to the unruly mob who never tried / don't care / are too lazy / are too stupid / etc.

Ah, the 'magic desk'. Yes, once upon a time, you had to go through all sorts of gyrations to get a desk to stack effectively. No more. Now you can stack any desk to the ceiling - plus the safes and the lamps. Those are the big stacking items. Also note the safes and lamps can stack 'sideways'; i.e. if you have a stack of safes, you can stick a safe to the SIDE of any safe in the stack.

I believe this is correct. However, some special powers (some booster pack powers, some vet rewards, some tier 9 set powers) ignore all recharge buffs.

That's a standard description which is rather misleading for some IO's. This IO has a 100% "chance" of activating under valid conditions. All of your auto powers automatically 'activate'..... I think it's every 10 seconds. Too lazy to go look. It's way less than 2 minutes, which is how long this IO lasts, so putting in Health will have it always on unless you exemp too low.

None of the above. Before I got the final influence badge, I would exemp my badger to earn influence. Now, I do the same thing except the goal is prestige.
  19. Also, credit for each exploration badge is logged as it occurs. So if you visit 2 exploration badges in a zone, then transfer to another server, and someone still in the original SG visits the remaining exploration badges, the SG will get the beacon.

It's good to imagine most of those numbers, since you can't actually achieve them. No one can ever have a 1200% damage buff. Most AT's are restricted to 400%, some to 500% and brutes to 850%. No one can ever have more than 3000% regen (most AT's get less), etc.

Demanding an apology from strangers on the internet.
Interesting idea. Let's see if it gets any traction.

With RTTC the duration is 1.25s which is sufficient for keeping them taunted while in close range but means that the effect will be lost almost immediately if they move outside the aura.
And the taunt duration for the power Taunt is... 41 seconds at level 50?
