Well that was fast. Using the market only, it took me several weeks to get that set for my corruptor.

Quote:Since we THINK the cap is based on the restrictions of the data structure itself, if that is correct, then I would say "no way in hell" will they raise it.Any ideas with the cost of some IO's actually hitting the 2000 mil inf cap that this could be raised to something else???
P.S. The other side of the equation would be to increase the drop rates of the stuff costing 2 billion.

No, no, no. You're assuming he was out of SG mode? I think it far more likely that anyone who cares about prestige would be in SG mode at all times and then be interested in converting influence to get ADDITIONAL prestige.

That doesn't apply for gladiator matches.
I think it's a fixed percentage. Even if it is a chance, it would even out over the course of hours.Quote:Now I'm not a numbercrusher, but I do know that there is a certain % chance that the healing done to the gladiators will apply towards the badge. Thus Not all healing will be applied towards badge progress.
This means that the vills could have been very unlucky or heroes very lucky.
BTW, I have no idea what the problem could be. I had previously estimated progress at around 80,000 pts per hour for a solo farmer (i.e. alone on the team). The initial results of "about 600K in 8 hours" sounds right. -
I think that was already covered. You get an SO when you defeat an AV. They are DEFINITELY available below level 25 as I have personally gotten an SO below level 10. The SO level is based on CHARACTER level.

Quote:Item 1 doesn't work the way you think it does. If someone in a member of the SG, there is *NOTHING* you can do to keep them from getting into the base. There is no such rank setting. Some precautions to take.
1. Disable base entry priviledges to all but the rank of your SG leader character.
2. Make sure only your leader can edit SG rank privileges.
3. (Paranoid step) Go into every bin and change permissions so only the SG leader can withdraw from the bins.
The setting that you're referring to is only to change what ranks are allowed to change the base entry options at the bottom of the settings window, namely to allow entry to teammates (when a member is the leader) and coalition members. -

Correct. The enhancement window shows only the benefits from enhancements themselves (no set bonuses). The 'Combat Attributes' window will show global benefits (set bonuses, buffs, etc). You need to check both to get the full picture.

Going from 104% performance to 112% is an improvement of under 8%. A common guideline is that we are unable to perceive a change of less than 10% in pretty much anything (in the absence of some external 'yardstick').

Quote:I hope they don't remove the coffin. Nothing is so poetic as finishing off an enemy by hitting him with a coffin.I could have sworn I saw a red-name mention that he was working on taking the big items out of the list propel used but that was a long time ago (like prior to the last issue release) and I'm not seeing any difference.

OMG! I'm late. I've already missed the first day of Wintereenmas!

hmm... you mean Magic, Science and NATURAL?

That reminds me of a D+D game where one player mentioned "the thief, mage and dwarf". The guy playing the dwarf said, "HEY! Thief, mage and FIGHTER."
Anyway, I'd go with the Good vs Evil. I find both of the powers to be really useful and the two costume sets are good too. -
Quote:Can you give us any info about your playstyle?Electric Armor
Fiery Aura
Ice Armor
Invulnerability
Shield Defense
Stone Armor
Willpower
Best Defenses Set? Best Offensive Set? Or do I need to eventually work my way through some of these to find out what works best with my play style?
Question: did you leave out Dark Armor on purpose? Anyway, someone asked pretty much the same thing a few weeks ago. For a first-time tank, I'd pick Invuln, Shield or Willpower.
Invuln is mainly about resistance but also has defense.
Shield is mainly about defense.
Willpower has some defense and some resistance but is mainly about regeneration.
To me, the big selling point for Willpower is that it has a 'Health' power and a 'Stamina' power built in (and better than Health and Stamina). This let me skip the Fitness pool and have Tough and Weave by level 26. -
Quote:I have one. The mere fact that you haven't played it yet. I'm working my way through all the tank primaries and secondaries. I don't care how good they are. There's just so many better choices for tanker secondaries that I can't see any reason to roll EM anymore.

Quote:Didn't they fix that by coding a hard cap on how many items it lets you place? The item count... what a nightmare it would be if all of a sudden everyone in the game had an unstable base due to the high amount of items... items stored in salvage racks, enh tables, insp chambers, they all count the same as decorative items. too many will cause your hard work to go poof.

Quote:Yes, but no one can give 460 rep at one shot. The person's own rep, post count, and reg date all affect how much rep they give.
You award a base rep of 1.
+1 for each full year since you registered on the forums.
+1 for each full 100 pts of rep you have.
+1 for each full 1,000 posts.
Note: If your rep is negative, that subtracts from how much you award, down to a minimum of zero. -

Quote:I did. A handful of people does not make it a widespread problem. In fact, if you had been paying attention, you would have noticed that I already posted in that thread advising that I had issues under certain circumstances. I still contend it's not as widespread or severe as your post made it sound. If you had looked into the previous thread, you'd see it contains accounts of multiple players experiencing problems with the Consignment House.
Oh, and by my count you had 6 people agree and 11 who either disagreed or made suggestions how to solve the problem. -
Quote:Stop. You are claiming to know my MOTIVATION for opposing the idea and you are *WRONG*. It's not about ME ME ME. I think the entire idea of non-unique names is BAD FOR THE GAME. I think it makes it less appealing to a lot of players and potential players. The issue comes in when what you want, and do, prevents me from doing what I want to do. Especially when what you want is to explicitly limit others to suit your needs. You want to keep people from making what they want, just to suit your needs, If me and you have the same name, you still have the name.
I could certainly be wrong, but that *IS* my honest opinion. -
Sadly no. I teamed with a really neat looking cow once, named Cow'abunga.

Quote:Don't ranty forum posters even know, or care, that MOST people *APPRECIATE* buffs?Don't they even know, or care, the least little bit, that by doing Drive-By-Buffing, without asking first, is gonna make them a ton of enemies! *End Rant*
P.S. I do drive-by buffs myself. And I plan to continue. I have been thanked many times and NOT ONCE has a buff recipient complained. Having said that, I admit I apply some thought to buffing. I know Speed Boost can cause people problems so I'm careful with that. On the other hand, I'll pass out buffs like Fortitude, Adrenaline Boost, Accelerate Metabolism and force fields indiscriminately.
