  1. -you want to try and get your hp above 1400

    -the heals are worthless you you cant get to someone in time..you need SJ and Hurdle

    -Clearmind is pretty important..not just for the mez protection but the perception too

    -dark pit is questionable, looks like you slotted Boxing and Blackstar just for the 2.52% fire/cold resist, it's not worth it

    -you'll prolly want Power Build Up over Total Focus

    -you wont use Resurrect or Recall Friend in arena, but it looks like more of a zone build

  2. I would skip the 3 hold's (you've got enough control) and at least 3 slot Howling Twilight (focusing on rech first and end reduction second)..
  3. looks like ice sword circle is going to have its damage reduced..you might look at the new changes before picking :P
  4. i really dont like any of those choices...no other power pool picks you could choose?...i guess i would take Screech first..

    if you decide on Shockwave then you might put a FF:chance for rech proc in it

    it'd be cool if you had a attack with your hands..if i recall Air Superiority, Boxing, and Brawl all have there animations with the shield...Maybe slot one of those attacks with 3 damage procs and a few Nuc's?

    dang, this makes me want to finish off my shield tank :P

    regarding this build, it needs work (not happy with it) and i've only played a Shielder up to 39

    wow, those 2 build's are very simular. You could prolly use the same sets/slotting.

    What power pools do you prefer? I'll assume Leaping, Speed, Fighting, and Fitness, but you never know with theme toons

    I suppose Leaping is skippable..its nice to at least have Combat Jumping tho

    is your Sheild/SS lvl 50 and IO'd? and do you have a Mid's build of that?
  8. I would reduce your KB protection to 2 IO's (8 kb pro.), so you might drop the zephyr from Combat Jumping cause those are expensive.

    The Cloud Sence's proc can be very expensive also, but those could be replaced with the Mako proc if need be.

    I would drop the slots from SJ and put them in yer shields or Soul Drain

    I wouldn't drop stamina (unless influence was no object). I could see reducing the slotting in your recovery power's tho..

  10. looks solid. I sprinkled some of my preferences..

    Removed a rech IO from Quicksand.
    Put some acc in Heat Exhaustion and Melt Armor.
    I swapped the LotG's for Red Fortune in Rock Armor.

    I dont really care for Stone Mastery but most take it for the theme (including myself)

    There's so much control and buffage on this build, I doubt you'll ever get to use Salt Crystals or Power of the Phoenix.

    -yeah, Imperviums can get expensive

    -and regarding your recovery (on the second build) i think yer gonna have serious end problems..all your toggles have a average of 36% end reduction....Combat Jumping and Opressive Gloom don't need any end reduction but the other 8 toggles ideally want around 80ish% end reduction...Even then, you prolly wont be able to keep everything running for very long without buffs or more influence towards IO's

    Dark Armor is really fun and unique, hope you stick with it
  12. If it were me, i'd put a end reduction in your 3 sheilds instead of Steadfast and the resist enhancements.

    I would slot Death Shroud with 1 acc and 3 end reduction

    also you have 2.5% recovery 6 times, so one of them won't count (5 of each global bonus max)

    and of course a Miracle:recovery would be sweet
  13. you're going to be using alot of endurance, you'll just have to test how much end reduction youll need.

    are you taking Tripmine? if so, it wont be very good with out TP Foe.

    you realize Tactics and Targeting Drone is basically the same thing right? they do stack (double ToHit and double Perception buffs), but Leadership is gonna be a big end drain (just saying)

    Lance is up to you, I like Psi Dart over Lance, but thats just me

    you might put a knockback SO in TeleBlast..that'll put the kb mag at 10 (enough to get thru Acrobatics protection)

    btw, that Zephyr KB protection IO is going to cost ya if you havn't picked it up already.. you can buy Karma KB recipes for cheap if need be..

    are you against a Rad/Ice or a Cold/sonic?

    I think you could go either way with the blast.

    Seems to me Rad would give you more safety vs AV's/GM's because of Radiation Infection and Radiant Aura. Just make sure you have a lot of recovery and end reduction..

    Seems like toggle debuffs would free up more time to keep your dps up..

    A Cold Dom, having alot of click debuff's, might have less time to devote to dps..(granted, you're not losing THAT much time out of your attack chain)
  17. I like Guantlet but it would be kinda neat to have a choice between 2 inherents during character creation..kinda like picking your Origin.

    Maybe depending on your characters mindset...offensive/reckless inherent or defensive/conservative inherent
  18. i never used the power till my 50 respec, but with 3 apoc's and 3 touch of the nictus..you can get some pretty good numbers both heal and damage..

    otw to 50 the heal/damage is pretty weak, but come on its a pretty sweet power just the way it is :P
  19. 3 or 4 Soulbounds would be ideal

    VS isn't worth taking unless you have some slot's in it..even then its pretty worthless.

    if you just have it for the defiance damage buff, then just put a end reduction or a accuracy in it

    with only one slot in it, i would just take a different power like Swift/Hurdle
  20. i don't have Mid's atm, but i would take all slots from Elec Fence and put um in Weave and Charged Armor. You're really gonna want end reduction in the 80% range for those

    since yer over the hp cap I removed the 3 mako's from Stone Fist. I swapped the slotting for Hover and IndomWill. And I removed the 2 Triade's from Health..

  23. interesting, well the good thing with kins, you can skip all the "normal" power's people get (dont need Fitness or travel powers) so you could grab all kinds of crazyness like presence pool!...nah

  24. Don't drop Slug, I would find a power to drop tho (you got too many :P)

    Assault, Tactic's, and Temp Invul all need end reduction in the 80%+ range in my opinion.

    I don't like Razzle Dazzle...its giving nice globals, but at what cost? I would slot Beanbag with a single Acc OR 3-5 Stupify's..well if yer gonna 5 slot Stupify then you might as well take the 6th slot for ranged defense..

    I would slot Psychic Shockwave with damage

    and, I wouldn't even use Subdual unless something is running away, but thats just me

    Personally, I would not slot for ANY defense on a blaster unless your focused on a single type. Most people go for Range def IF they go for it at all.
