nice works! I love Padre's unique cape, and the added touch of it having a few holes and rips, etc.
-
Yup, that was exactly what I was picturing when I suggested the first pose up earlier in the thread
-
If you haven't already, which you might have since you've said you'd tried to Google already, Google the likes of Human Torch, Firestorm, Sunfire, and Firestar.
They usually have the usual poses that would fit a fire hero. -
Yup very Mimic looking, both in the screenshot and the Timm drawing. very nice.

I'm assume he means a cool superhero pose that you'd want for either a poster or a comic book cover, something thats suitable for that particular hero.
A Fire blaster could have various poses but one that springs to mind is possibly his hands palms out and up, with fire coming up from one of both, with the hands either at waist level or mid torso.
Is that the kinda idea you're looking for? -
Big thanx to LJ for a great piece, and for working on it during the weekend while his son was in town. And thanx to TurboSki for pointing out the feet. Herri's top was so well done I guess I never noticed it, or her legs. Hard to get past her little taunting pose with her hands. Harder to be objective when its one's own character maybe.
Whatever the matter, yup I'm totally happy with it. -
wow, awesome collection. both of the ones by bokuman and john becaro are awesome

That's a pretty nice screenshot manip. I never really understood the want for vehicles, other than for superheroes who don't have a super travel power, but to each their own.

I truly miss Table Top RPG's --most fun you can have with your clothes on. But anymore getting a regular group together is like trying to keep a garage band together--only you know you'll never get paid to game.
PBEM is pretty good--but it lacks the spontaneity of Table top---a good second in the fun department.

Ahh, that's why I never was drawn to tabletops much, I'm not much into getting together with a group to do stuff very often. Only two RPGs I did for a while, translate that as a month or two was Marvel and then Battletech. Closest thing lately I've done is Heroclix, which I got into when the Independant set was released and I eventually caved and started playing with the regulars at my local comic book shop. Did that for 6 months, pretty godo for me, managed to trade out my Indy doubles to get some DC and Marvel ones so I didnt' also end up the first one out. heh. Eventually I just lost interest in it all. and sold my uniques to my comic book shop and gave the rest to the regulars, save my 4 Magdalena clix.
Heh I've only tried Chess PBEM. I'll agree if thats the only way you can mange to play its not too shabby but wouldn't be my first option. -

same for me on Marvel Super Heroes. It was one of the first and last tabletop RPGs I played. Never really got into them. I'd have to look at the Marvel sheets again to get an idea of how to make one for any of my characters.

Best resource: Classic Marvel Super Heroes

oh wow, that's pretty cool. Yup I had the core books and basic maps. I'll check those if I'm ever interested, which is doubtful, but possible, in tabletop RPGing again. -

Cool...but DC Comics *might* have a bit of a problem with the name.

It's Frankie Say Relax, used to wear a shirt like that for a good couple of years, but yeah. that's a cool little tribute in a CoX way.

heh I discovered that starshot top and bottom does indeed not line up. I had to put a belt for it to look ok on my stalker, Wherlwind (her reference shots) Never really understood it, but found that the Peak belt covered it up and looked good anyway, so its good in that case. Sucks for those who don't want to put a belt there though.

not true! why just a few days ago he was logged into the game at least to take screenshots of the bots pets for references since I didn't have mine taken and up yet. so he logs in.. kinda lol
I think he does log in though.. he mentioned to me at least once in an email he killed a GM before going back to drawing... I wanna say Scrap but cant' remember.
edit: correction, I guess he does log in for sure. heh -

Nice "M" mod... I wonder how it looks to everyone else?
[/ QUOTE ]
You mean for his chest logo? How is it a mod?
You can make the same thing using the standard costume creator options.
under Upper Body:
For Chest, Pick Tights, then Tights Smooth, then Emblem Circle for the yellow circular background.
For Chest Detail, pick M and then make both colors the exact same color. -
Places like FedEx Kinko's or any major copy center place usually has services to print files for you. Chances are you can just drop the file onto a thumb drive and there will either be computers you can use to print out the picture or they'll take the thumb drive and print it for ya. Looks like FedEx Kinko's even has a way for you to do the print online, all you do is go pick it up.
