    You can activate AS and then turn around with mouse to do a 'butt-attack' with MA and EM.

    Kinda like blasters can turn around after activating snipe so they shoot backwards, over their shoulder

  3. Superstrength has rage. That might be the reason why people dont complain about SS that much. It also has knockout blow, which afaik does noticeably more damage than Shatter (my builder says about 1,5 times the damage of shatter but im not trusting my builder). And is a hold, whereas shatter has pantsy knockback and no disorient element of any kind. Could go on but im tired.

    ps. But ID VERY much like to hear why people keep mentioning 'better survivability' when talking about mace? EM has more and better disorient chances hands down..

    I'm not sure how much of this post is in jest. There is no PvP code of conduct. There is only the official code of conduct which can be read here.

    As said before, people are free to chat there if they want. Chat is allowed in PvP zones for a reason. As said before, moaning if they are severely beaten in PvP while doing it will however not gain them any sympathy.

    Personally I hate moaners myself. But I will acknowledge everyones right to play the game how they want as long it does not include harassing other people.
  5. MA is a good stalker set. If only the AS animation was better.. Id rather like an animation like Bruce Lee's famous one-inch-punch, or some other form of 'death touch'.

    pros: It has taunt

    cons: It does smashing damage only, the most resisted damagetype in the game, has far too long activations in its attacks, recharge being more or less same as with other sets but because in practise it does less damage than other sets the recharge seems out of place.

    One mediocre melee PBAoE and one bad cone as its final power (which does KB so it will scatter enemies off your taunt aura), one melee stun attack (and the only reliable stunner in the set) which does no damage and has far too long recharge for its effect. 2 of its attacks have high chance of knockback, one ST attack does knockup and is the only decent attack in the set imo.

    Yeah I have had that too. Exiting and re-entering base seems to help in those cases..

    THere has been numerous disconnection bugs with base items. Try moving them a little with base editor. (not to another room or anything, just a few inches). Goonies base turbine generator for instance stopped working at all after I8 patch, but moving it a little fixed the problem.

    I dont remember fights where force bubble wouldnt have protected you from me killing you a lot more. Also iirc during those cases I had something to coutneract the bubble, if nothing else than break frees.

    I just want to point out that it does protect you, but nowhere does it say that protection should be infallible.

    Dunno if its lag or what but I have had trouble running inside bubble to what I perceive as melee range and my attacks not triggering.. A fire/ff troller did own me in a duel not long ago.

    ps. I made couple bubblers during test server event and noticed that force bubble alone wasnt completely impervious to melee, but my grav/ff was pretty safe in RV with all the repel he could get btw (force bubble, singularity and even repulsion field which isnt proper repel)

    If you think that you need it, then you can get it, thats all there is to it really. Some people get it, some dont. My robo/poison needs it but same need not apply to you.

    Meaning you can only get the snipe from the ancillary pool weapon mastery. Ice has no snipe of its own.

    Did some stats on this a while ago and Energy Torrent out performs Power Bolt for DPS. End cost is higher but that's easily overcome with conserve power and an end redx.

    Also very nice for laying waste to low level mobs for getting any badges missed.

    Mes, I can tell you that force bubble is still extremely effective. Superspeed hasn't helped me much at all in fights against you or any other bubbler. One shot I can get thru once in a blue moon doesnt help me cause you still have disp.bubble to protect from disorient..

    I dont understand why a power must totally shut out an opponent for it to be 'effective'.

    ps. hurricane, however is weaker, but it still has the -toHit..

    They have, but it doesnt offer KB protection, unlike practised brawler.

    I wish they'd just introduce 'walk' into the game like RPers have been asking since day one. Speed boosted walk would propably be slow enough..
  23. Actually knockback protection basically equals immunity, because if you get knockbacked or knockdowned at all, the damage is already done. Dunno what KB resistance would refer to. Not to mention that every single toon (not just melee toons) in the game can get knockback protection from acrobatics, and there is no way to overcome that protection (unless you hold them and drop acrobatics) .

    Unfortunately. There are some melee toons that dont have KB protection in their secondary/primary (fire tanks and ninjitsu stalkers at least) but they will propably get acrobatics.

    Yeah, and that happens also without slotting thrust for KB.. The extra distance is imo pretty pointless. Slotting doesnt increase KB magnitude..

    Hmm yeah, but if you need a big stun you could just use power boost to double the disorient duration, and slot 1 end redux to it instead.. Iirc total focus' end cost is about 20 points, ie 1/5th of the end bar..

    PS. Power bolt is imo underrated attack and is one power that Im currently missing in my current PvP build. Im planning to drop nova to get power bolt back.. Make of that what you will. Although the power burst change might change my ranged attack ability considerably..
