Binds, I just cant seem to get them working. And since the search engine seems to be on strike here comes my question about one of the most basic binds ever.
I need to hunt 200 of these pesky Marcone capo's so I can get access to a contact I have not done before. Something that must be remedied soon I am sure you will agree. Problem is those capo's like to hide and it is hard work to target them manually, worse i can miss them while traveling past. Hence the bind I need. I tried every combo I could think of but no luck so far.
So how do I create that elusive bind to make the live of the "marcone capo" impossible? -
Well normally you can pan around with your view just using right mouse button but no luck since yesterday and my options seem ok (so far as i can see)
-
Since the last issue I can't move my point of view around. It seems to be stuck in the default position where i see my hero/villain from behind. Anyone else got the same problem?

An offline base builder like an hero designer sounds like a good thing. Sometimes it is hard to see the consequences of just adding one more item. Suddenly you need more control resulting in a bigger demand for power. Forcing you to upgrade your power supply. And guess what, you need a bigger generator which has to fit in a bigger room as well.
Don't laugh, it happened to me. I was very lucky that we had space on the grid for that big room, had the plans for the generator, had plenty of salvage to build the thing and of course we had the neccesary prestige to amke it all possible. After that of course we did have access to every zone. -
Somehow with the MU Mystics I have the feeling that they are no longer completely human and less able to express their free will then the soldiers or the widows. If so, then they would be unsuitable as a player character.
I don't see a problem ith them being unable to express emotes and such. Of course they start with an inherrent travel power just like the Nova with an hover mode for combat situations to preserve energy and gain some defense. -
The removal of radio and newspaper missions and other repeatable mission sources.
Combined with a good hard look at the current storyarcs and TF's. Especially hero side these can be improved upon. I found the arcs villainside more inspiring which makes sense as they are added later in the gaming proces. Hero side deserves imrpovements as well.
Way way more new storyarcs. Every issue should have a few so that we don't get bored with repeating the same old arc/contact. -
I allways avoid the sewers as much as I can. Unles i need the fast way to get the hunt badges of course.
But with a few contacts in there I might be perusaded to enter that smelly realm. I wonder though about the first contact. Isnt level 1-5 not a bit to dangerous in there?
Besides those levels are easily coverd with the tasks you can do for your first contact.
For the TF, up it to level 13. So that the trial accounts can do this one and benefit up to their max level of play. -
The Ghost Axe unfortunately can't compare to Sands of Mu. The few ghosties you meet are not enough to really make the axe shine compared to the immense damage of MU.

I spend way to much time playing and enjoying the PuG's I enrolled in. I loved the feel of having so many people online.
And I did level some alts I thought would never get leveled in the first place.
Brought my tanker up to 33 and finished the whole croatoa arc. Now for some monster huntiung and i can do a Katie. Never thought I would get her above 20.
I also managed to level an empath up a bit. I always enjoyed the healing proces and with so many teams and so little defenders on this was my chance.
Finally I leveled my crabby a few levels.
So all in all, a nice weekend. -

I don't think Nemesis, or the Center, or Countess Crey, or the Malta group would respond very well if Recluse tried to "have them killed". They might just decide they needed to do some bug hunting themeselves...
As for Dreck, Dr V, or Tub Ci, they wouldn't concern LR one way or another.

A non arachnos patron would also mean another story. It could be written in such a way that L.R. does not offend those so much that open warfare will be started. -
One of the first thing I tried was making a looping. Would be great if we could do that.
-
I would like to see a real game option doing that instead of messing around with homecooked binds. Which happen to go wrong all the time. Or I forgot where I stored them etc.
So for my part signed a lot. -
So not continental to use outdated measurement systems. It is time that we bring this game beyond the dark ages and into the enlightenment of the metric system.
Then again once could say that the concept of this game is old fashioned. -
I like the Shoot Out option. Sounds like a nice new event type.
(Please do make a Dark Astoria rewrite) -
Has been asked before but yes I would approve of this as well.

/Unsigned.
I have characters on every server. Granted my french is terible but I can manage German and have had some good fun on Zukunft. I recall that I was genuinly pleased with the polite people I encountered there. -
I wont take someone as a patron who I have beaten up personally or help save from some lowlives plot. Those you mention are to low to be of significant value to one such as me.
That said, a non arachnos patron would be interesting. After all you start of with the choice to be an Arachnos flunky (Kalinda) or a mercenary (Burke). It would be fitting to have another to choose as Patron.
Some names: Midas (although a bit low), Nemesis (now that would be fun), the Marcone Boss. -
Luckily I dont have that problem with cave maps. But I can see why that could be a problem when you are more sensitive to motion sickness. I doubt however that they can do much about it.

farming radio missions is the norm instead of going thorugh the contacts.

Is that what most PuGs are doing these days? How unimaginitiveReminds me of I6/I7 CoV, where most villain PuGs would just do Council newsies in StM/GV because they were easy - I soon got bored of that - it probably contributed to why I don't PuG much anymore.

It is worse on the villain side yes. But heroes gotten lazy to. -
Excellent read and an interesting zone. I am not to fond of the level 1-15 repeatable mission thingie. But a lot of people love them. Sigh.
All that we are missing is a nice GM and some zone events. -
Interesting idea. Unlock a vehicle to gain acces to a special area or mission. It has merrit. I am not sure if t will be feasible these days when you consider that most SG's are deadish and farming radio missions is the norm instead of going thorugh the contacts.

Uhm yes I have to agree here. It is way to easy to get xp nowadays as it is. I like to finish some storyarcs before i outlevel them. Not that level being level 50 is so interesting.
-
Not sure if this is doable. I noticed that my pc handles large groups of npc's better then large groups of heroes. And basicly you would be facing loads of 'players' with these villain groups. So if what i see is true that could be quite a problem for those of us without high end systems.
