You will have moron and door-sitter/afk teammates who ruin your plan of No Escaping on at least 50% of your BAFs. Sad but true.

Here's my dp/dark corr for some comparison thoughts. I've incarnated him up to Rebirth (T3) and Reactive (T3). He's running Musculature (t3). He's soft-capped to S/L/E/N. Hitting the soft-caps should be even easier on a Def, I'd imagine.

Does interface still proc for pet attacks? If so, with Creepers, this is still a pretty good choice. I have it on my Plant/Fire/Fire and between pet attacks (if it still works, Audrey & Creepers) and my fast attack chain for ST's (Blaze, Blast, Incin) I am liking it.
-
Not to argue, but IMHO /WP suffers from def-debuffing enemies even if you soft-cap ... because /WP has *an extraordinarily small amount* of def-debuff resist. So late-game groups like Romans can be a real pain on /WP, and one that properly built SR (easy) or /SD (harder but doable) or even INV (moderately easy) can tackle better. I have abandoned /WP in favor of those 3 secondaries, especially for "tanky" type Brutes. There is a great thread currently on the Scrapper forum that talks about SR's lack of squishiness actually.
I know ITF has fallen out of favor, and incarnate mobs with +to-hit are pummeling solo (not buffed) /SR and /SD atm, but I'd still say those are better late-game especially paired with something like Rebirth. I took Rebirth on my FM/INV -- he is soft-capped to S/L/E/N with 1 mob in range, has perma dull-pain (close to 2600hp I think), has Aid Self, and now Rebirth. That's some tough stuff.
Just a perspective to consider. -
Crab/Huntsman: Renegade Operative
Bane/Huntsman: Operative Wolfsbane (originally a Wolf Spider Soldier/Bane Hybrid, now sadly retired on an inactive account)
Fortunata: Telepathik -
Here's what I respecced into based on your hovertank build. Running musculature T3 at present. Definitely not endo-sustainable solo. But on teams seems just fine. Reasonable ST chain with SingleShot-Burst-Bayonet. Empty slot in Venom is for a Rag KD, and I'll build up to the whole Rag set if I care. I burned over 1B today buying all the dang IOs you see.

Here's a build for you to consider. It's my I20 build for my Fire/MM, Fyremental. It has soft-capped S/L and can chain Blaze-Blast-Flares for STs. It also gets toys like Spiderlings which are proving helpful on BAFs.
Wrt to your build ... um, 1 recharge IO in Psychic Shockwave and you put 2 Armageddons in WoC? Did you actually build this? I know you are new here (and I won't guess at your age), but have you looked in the forum for Fire/MM builds and comments?

Does this area buff affect pets as well? That is, if you are a Fire / Kin troller, will 1 SB affect all your pets?
-
I ran through a thread on this a few months ago, if you board search. Best advice I got was two-fold
1) Run musculature alpha for a significant damage increase
2) The compromises to reach the recharge needed for the top DPS chain (GC-SD-GC-GD-repeat) can gimp the rest of your build.
Good luck. -
Plant/Fire is your awesome friend. Great control from Plant and great damage from Fire Assault. Go team.
Fire = more AOE goodness than Earth -
The Survivability Test spreadsheet looks super cool. But how do you use it? I tried to import a MIDS build and it didn't seem to populate. Is there a thread where you discuss use?
Thx! -
Thanks this is very helpful.
I keep bouncing around the idea of a AR/NRG blaster and then abandoning it because either (1) Fire/MM is so much better (and I already have one of those) or (2) I keep thinking a Huntsman build could do similar dmg with more versatility and survivability. But I can't find a Huntsman build I really like that feels like it can pump out the dmg. -
Linea, could you post your Bane build (referenced above) for comparison please?
-
And I still got mezzed by Illusionists simucasting flash on a Carnie mish set +3/+6
-
I don't use it / have it on my Plant/Fire/Fire and I don't miss it.
Fireball (EPP) + RoF (EPP) + Fire Breath seem to get the job done.
The animation time and slow DOT really kill it for me. -
This is an end-game MA/SD build that someone posted recently (I forget the name, sorry!!!) that I thought was awesome. So I am using it. The build below it is a variant I created to include Fireball. My issue right now is that the build is not yet 100% endo-sustainable, but that's it. It does chain SK-CS-SK-CAK. I wish someone could tell me the base DPS of that chain.

Reverse question -- are any of the Incarnate abilities' recharge times affected by global recharge on a toon (which perma-doms have a lot of)

I built up my FM/Inv with a lot of input from board gurus like Iggy, Nihili, Werner etc. Here is the thread:

I was getting 193-195 dps pre I-20 and now incarnated that has gone up a decent amount (posted in Pylon thread in Scrapper forum re the changes).
He's softcap with 1 foe in range of Invinc, has a 4-attack chain with strong ST dps and has FSC / Dark Oblit (and Pyronic) for AOE. Endo sustainable too with Cardiac which buffs +RES too.
Fun times. -
If you're not adverse to it, Mace is a slightly better / more powerful set than Axe due to Crowd Control and the love that Clobber got. IMHO.
