As I sit here, totally stoked about the upcoming Young Justice series, I am faced with a dilema. You see, I want to make an omage to one of my favorite characters. The question is, what best embodies a kryptonian, ss/inv, or ss/wp?
And yes, I know it's against the EULA to make an exact copy of an established, but it will not be an exact copy. Thank you for your help. -
Watching this for the third time. Apparently my daughter loves this.
I agree that Invincible needs his own show. -
I have been on ITF's, LGTF's, and RSF's where a granite tank or brute has bit the dust, and only I have survived. It is quite possible. Hell, on speed ITF's I frequently do the nictus shard mission by myself.
-
This is what I like to call a lie. I myself have soloed AV's/heroes with my Dm/wp brute, claws/sr scrapper and brute, and ss/sr brute. It can be done. Oh and all that was with no temps or insps.

Quote:Seeing as how math makes my head hurt, and I mean nose bleed hurt, I have a question. If one were to have a /reg built for recharge, and were to go for the spiritual paragon, how close would that bring us to perma IH? Or am I still dreaming that will happen again one day?Figure out what the 89.9% is BEFORE ED. Add 22% to that. Then apply the appropriate ED calculation:
Code:Before ED After ED E < 70% E 70% ≤ E < 90% 70 + (0.9 × (E - 70)) 90% ≤ E < 100% 88 + (0.7 × (E - 90)) 100% ≤ E 95 + (0.15 × (E - 100))
So your 89.9% I assume is the Hecatomb set, which pre-ED is 92.75%. Add 22% for 114.75%. Apply the ED formula, so 95 + (0.15 * (114.75% - 100)) = 97.2125%. Add 11%, so 108.2125% recharge enhancement. -
Sounds good, especially the CoP, for as long as I've been playing, I have yet to actually do one of those.
-
I have no way to compete in this, but I do love to see things like this. Thank you for pointing out these websites.
-
Thanks Snowglobe, that's exactly the info I was looking for.
-
So, was messing around in mid's today, and seeing how high I am getting some things past the ED cap, it made me think for some reason that the Alpha slot was to have something to do with it. Perhaps actually even moving into those numbers. I can't remember though. Does anyone have any information on the Alpha slot, other than it is in I 19 and that it is part of the incarnate system?
-
So, this is what I am building towards now, feel free to pick it apart.

Another question, I just remembered the app that has the boost to regen and recovery in it. But shadow meld is the way to go, then? ok. So I have to become a vigilante first?
-
Hi all, back from about a 6 month break. Had to finish nursing school! Anyway. I have some questions for you guys. I have a 42 FM/Reg that I am going to continue working on. My question is, which set bonuses should I be going for, and also, which app? I was thinking of going for that one, that, uh, oh yeah! Shadow meld! Planning on alternating between MoG and Shadow meld, so I was thinking high recharge. Or should I try to get a decent level of def and not worry with the high recharge? Any help would be great. Or possible builds for ideas. Oh yeah, and I have a little over a billion inf on him to, so gauge budget off of that.
-
Awesome! Loving the updates, also giving me some inspiration. I have been wanting to play some of the SoAs for awhile now, thanks for some ideas.
-
Thanks for the help in deciding all. I decided to go with /INV.
So, when IO'ing an Inv, is it best to build for positional def, or typed? -
Me and my brother have decided to roll brutes to Duo with, we even have a theme! As Demi-Gods, we will of course be very hard to hurt, but the question is, which secondary to pick? He is most likely going to be ELM, while I am pretty set on War Mace.
Anyone have recommendations on particular combinations? I know ELM/WP can be very powerful, which is what he has said he wants. Really, for me it's more a quwstion of WM/ELA or WM/INV.
Guidance, jokes, and cookies be appreciated. -
This is my prelim build on my Claws/SR brute. I may make some adjustments a little later, but for now it looks like it will do what I want it to.

I have been working on building up a nice inf base on my 50 scrap and brute, when I finally got my brother to come back to the game after being on WoW for the last 4 years. He has narrowed his choices down to elec or da, but can't decide which he want's to play more, and I can't really help him, as I've never played either set. He also hasn't decided whether to play a scrapper or brute.
ANy advice that can be provided would be a great help. -
Agreed. Hell there's been many times were the tank takes a nose dive and I have to keep aggro on a 5-8 man team on my scrappers or brutes. It can be done, hell, can be done with /reg or /sr to, but /inv is better at it cause of the taunt aura.
-
Just curious if this is still going on, me and my wife just rolled some widows the other day on Triumph.
-
Me and my wife have recently decided to roll some villains to duo, and seeing as neither of us had a Veat, we decided to roll them. Coincidentally, we both decided on widows.
We will be duo'ing or teaming only, no solo play on these toons.
What are some of the powers that should be avoided, if there are any, and which ones are must haves.
Which branch would be most benificial for dealing AoE damage?
We will be doing 98 percent PvE, with going to the PvP zones for accolade purposes mostly, sometimes I may want to kill squishies though, so that is a possibility. -
My DM/WP was doin the no insp av defeats at 27 or 28, my current project is claws/sr. I love me some /sr.
-
This is what I came up with, it's kinda rough around the edges, but room for improvement. Not sure if you wanted a travel power, but I tend not to take one now that we have ninja run.
You may notice that I left a couple of powers unslotted, and used generic IO's on some. You will still have soft cap on melee and ranged, and near soft cap on AoE. Fireball for added AoE goodness. If recharge isn't high enough, you could find some monies for the LotG +recharge for the passives, that would help a little. This build should also be end sustainable, and have a decent single target attack chain while waiting for your AoE/cone powers to recharge.
