I hope they will tell us why they felt the need to close the character creator now. From what we've seen so far there isn't anything earth shattering in there that could upset the world balance of good and evil.

Looks like they replaced CP with a new power called Energize.
Instead of a ~120% end discount like the brute version, it has a 60% end discount, but a 100% regeneration increase and a hefty heal (468 HP @ level 50 unenhanced) The end discount and regeneration buff last 30 seconds, and the power recharges in 2 minutes. Doesnt look like there's a crash or anything. No word if the recharge time is unenhanceable like SoW.

No. Granite Armor will not be customizable. It currently exists outside of what we can access via the power system as it is an NPC with a pre-defined costume that your player is turned into.

Thanks for the tip. Too bad I have to get this from a user forum and they can't get their message straight. The point is, if NC knows that the server status is bugged, they shouldn't direct users to it.
If they don't I hope someone tells them. Another thought might be to add the login server to the list. -

There is still a problem. The error message at the login screeen tells me to check server status. Server status says that everything is up already. So either the server status should be ignored (which contradicts the message). Or the status is correct and there is a login problem.

I am aware of the Scheduled downtimes, my complaint is that there is no information listed on the forums or Website about when or why the servers go down. Something that happens so regularly should have a Announcement somewhere outside of the game.
If your not aware of the scheduled maintenance and you can't login, when you go to the forums to see if there's some announcement about the servers coming down and you find nothing, then you check the Status page and it says everything is up. Your lead to believe that there is something wrong with your system or game install.
Especially when the error message it spits out when your trying to login tells you to check the "Server Status" page, then mentions that something might be wrong with your network settings.
You could save people hours of trouble shooting and annoyance if they just fixed the status page or put a sticky post in the announcements that says something along the lines of:
"We usually perform server maintenance on (list days) around (list time frame) if you find the servers unavailable during any of these times, please try to reconnect later."
How hard could that possibly be?

While it is annoying that the server status page has been broken for a bit now your little hissy fit was uncalled for. It is public information that Monday and Friday the servers go down for maintenance. Been like that since January 2008 IIRC.

I haven't been crashing but I have noticed CoH's memory usage continuing to grow as I play, looks like a memory leak.
