I remember those days especially since my main is katana/regen so toggle Instant Healing was great.
And although gathering up huge herds and then tearing through them was fun for a short while, not having any real challenge got boring.
I remember gathering up +7 bosses with my /regen and not worrying at all having to go get a drink or anything because they didn't stand a chance of killing me.
Heck, I remember after hitting 50 needing to go and purposely die just so that I could get the debt badges.
The game has much more sustainability now compared to before.
Arcade games get boring after awhile. -
Is there a new version of Mids for Issue 19 with the Fitness pool being Inherent?
I have seen a few people posting builds for I19 and Stamina being inherent but not the rest of the Fitness pool.
Or are people just editing the database to show Stamina as inherent?
Thanks. -
Wasn't one of them for sneakers...Jitter I thought.
Probably wrong on that one. I thought it was an interesting idea and as long as it wasn't screaming out at you...what is the big deal. -
Are the blades Nightstar is wearing in Praetoria something which players can unlock?
And if so are they Claws or Dual Blades? -
Did a change go in place that all enemies will drop the character's type of enhancements?
I was running against Council Empire with my son whose character is Mutation and mine is Natural. He was getting DO's which were Mutation and I was getting SO's which were Natural.
I know that Council Empire use to only ever drop Technology.
I had not been playing guys high enough to get anything but TO's recently so had not seen this happen in other missions. -
Rats well it was worth a try.
Yeah it will be good to beat the rush of next week.
Thanks. -
Is there an FTP location that has a zip of the current build of the Live server?
I still have my disks from when the game first came out or my City of Villains but would rather have the bits which are much closer to current without having to wait for it to all download through the updater.
Thanks for any help. -
Thank you for the raid today. Both my son and I had fun. We both ended up with horrible enhancements from it but the run itself was very fun. It was the first time I have done it since it was changed.
We will be trying to come to more of them when they happen. -
It is too bad it is not next week because I already had that off for my birthday.
But oh well, when GR comes out it will mean not much sleep for a little bit. -
Healing Flames is the other one which it does not increase due to the Toxic Resistence.

Quote:Is the ATI 5770 not much better than the GTX 260?You aren't buying much if any more graphics power with that set-up over your E8500 dual core and a GTX 260. Sure more powerful CPU that can be overclocked simply and lots of system memory but graphics horsepower appears to be your limiting factor.
What would you recommend then?
*DOH* helps if I look at your sig links. The $1375 rig you have listed, did something drop in price or drop off the list as it is chearper right now.
I was looking to avoid assembling another system but figure I might have to do that to get much improvement.
What graphic card would you recommend to be able to handle the ultramode at max/near max settings? -
In the past I have built my own systems but I just don't want to deal with doing that again and am thinking of purchasing a prebuilt system.
I have mainly been Nvidia for my video cards but have seen in many of the threads here that ATI seems to be the direction to go.
I am looking at this system or something similiar
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...Sku=I455-97500
Would this be able to run Ultra mode with the settings turned all the way up? I currently run a Intel 8500 with a Nvidia GTX 260 and have many setting close to the middle and get between 20-30 fps but cannot seem to get much higher without turning lots of things down. Resolution I run at is 1920x1080 (or whatever that standard size for an 24" widescreen LCD is)
If anyone has suggestions of a better place to get a prebuilt system or a better system configuration I am all ears. I am looking to be around this price range and might be willing ot go p towards $1500 but I am most likely be buying another monitor (probably 24") so I have to keep the rest of the costs at least somewhat in check.
Thanks for any help and suggestions. -
The database I have been working on will have all of the different requirements for Set IO's and also allow me to track which character has the recipe/salvage.
So far the part of what character has the recipe and salvage is all done and just trying to make it so I can run a query and know which characters have the pieces I need for the recipe I have.
I just wish I was better with databases. -
I have been running into the same thing so I created an Access database which I have forms setup in to enter salavage and recipes and working on making it so I can know what salvage pieces are needed to make each on.
The basic sense works but WOW is there a lot of salvage and recipes to enter. The basic data entry for the database is a PITA. -
It is correct that you can roll at any range. And as stated above the recipe will be generated at the highest possible level for that recipe OR your level, whichever is lower.
The only thing that the range slider gives you is the ability to generate recipes which are outside of your level range (say you are level 50 but want to be able to get a Kinect Combat, then you roll in a range that can generate recipes up to level 35). -
Quote:Regenerative Tissue +Regen is Pool A, not Pool B. Just an FYI.Nice punchline!
I've only rolled architect tickets the once. I was quite sursprised to get a Regenerative Tissue +Regen from a Bronze roll, I'd assumed they were Pool C, and not Pool B. I really freaked out when my next roll was also a Regenerative Tissue +Regen.
It is one of those REALLY good drops that you can get by just taking guys out at low level and be setup for awhile if you sell it.
Talking about bizarre luck. One day my son and I were running a mission and he was complaining that he had not gotten a purple in forever. He then got one in the group we were on. Followed that up with another purple drop in the next group. And the third group he got a respec recipe.
I told him that he had to stop stealing all of my purples. -
The above posts are correct that it is Gold you wish to roll under. But the level of the IO you recieve will always be your level or the highest level the IO set runs to. Whichever is lower.
So if you are level 50 and do this you will get a level 50 Numina's. If you did the same and got the Miracle unquie it would be level 40.
When you are rolling in the different level ranges what that opens up is WHICH different sets are possible to be looked at for your roll. So if you are doing level 30-34, that is almost all of the different sets because almost any set crosses that range (I think there are only a few that do not reach 30 and all of the high en sets start at 20/25/30). -
I do think it is a bug as a friend of mine had the exact thing happen when she just started her account back up.
Feel lucky that you got the rewards.
I doubt they will go back and take them away. -
Also, if they were to raise the influence cap they would not do it just temporarily because it would take a lot of coding.
The reason that 2 billion is the cap is due to the way they have the number variable setup in the code and to raise it beyond that would most likely take a reworking of many places of code. -
I really think that the complaints more stem from the fact that the person wants to run the archtype they are using but would much rather use it as a hero.
Much of this will be reduced once Going Rogue comes out.
I know that I much prefer to run heroes instead of villians but find that many of the villian archtypes are fun to play. -
It is called a random generator for a reason.
It is not that they manipulated a drop rate specifically for you. If they modify a drop rate it applies to everyone.
You just have had bad runs.
I know because I was running a mission with my son and he got back to back purple drops followed by a respec recipe and then another purple drop later in the mission. Me...nada.
But then again at other times I have gotten purple drops.
The drop rate is random and just sometimes to go in streaks just like any other random thing.
This game is nothing different than other games. I use to play Asheron's Call and I would get their rare drops a lot on my characters and it seemed odd when comparing to others who never would get one. But sometimes it just is how you run.
When you run the BM farm are you doing it at +0 level/x8 people? Do you run it solo? If so then you have more of a chance of getting the drop then if you run with other people or with with a lower number for the setting. -

Quote:Ah...that is the part I was remembering. That you can't put them on the market. No, unless they changed it very recently.
I respecced an old 50 a couple of months back and had a 50+ HO left over. I saved it thinking I'd market it, but you can't put combined enhancements in the market.
So they can be taken out with respecs but you're limited in what you can do with them.
