There's no such thing. There's untyped damage, but there isn't an untyped attack vector. You can omit attack vectors entirely (in which case defense doesn't apply), but by nature, every existing attack vector has a corresponding defense type.

No, you're getting it wrong. LISAR is the one with the rack. Golden Girl is the one with 3D models on the wrong side of the Uncanny Valley. (For some reason I suspect she uses Poser, which is a terrible modeling program.)

You missed a word: Multiple. By design, players are not permitted more than one "cape system" (this applies to buttcapes, shoulder capes, trench coats, magic bolero, tuxedo, etc.) per costume. Ghost Widow's moving hair is accomplished with multiple cape systems, and I presume Belladonna's hair is, too. Player characters are not permitted multiple cape systems, and they can only be achieved via design bugs, such as when the Magic pack was first released and the Bolero could be combined with capes. Now that the Bolero hole has been closed, anyone who edits a costume which was using that bug in the design will have their costume automatically "fixed" by the system.

Well, there is a specific answer. Tohit debuff and Defense have a 1:1 ratio, exactly. There's just a caveat: The debuff you use is rarely the value applied.
  4. Resolve/Determination/Sheer Willpower didn't have to be used proactively.

Yes. The Break Free/Emerge/Escape inspirations replaced the Discipline/Iron Will/Resolve/Determination/Sheer Willpower inspirations. Iron Will can still be obtained in Siren's Call.

    Discipline/Iron Will

While true, the devs try to keep things similar, so that a player doesn't have to readjust to their own powers when getting into PvP (they just have to readjust to how different the experience is).
  7. "The Praetorian War" (Tina Macintyre pre-GR arc) starts with a normal mission, which immediately leads to a 10-minute timed mission when you finish (without talking to Tina). I think it's available from Ouroboros.

I thought we were talking about someone who had never done any other TF or Trial before. Considering it's the lowest level team-gated content in the game, I think it's fair to assume a low level character (DOs at best, no benefit of +5 levels worth of powers, no extra slots), they're not veterans (no Assemble), and they're not prepared for the Trial (Stealth, Super Speed, and Recall Friend by level 14 on a non-vet? That's 4 pool powers out of 9 power selections by that level, and only 1 non-pool selection since lv6.)

I'm not arguing that it shouldn't be changed, but an 8-person simultaneous click isn't that much of a chore compared to the Tunnels and the Igneous. Also, while the player may have dealt with Igneous before, it probably wasn't Igneous spawned for 8.

Now, if the team is experienced and prepared, the current incarnation of the CoT Trial can take about 10 minutes. Last time I ran it, I was leading the team with a no-longer-with-us FF/Radiation Defender who used Teleport for his travel power. PFF was plenty to ignore the Trolls and teleport the team to the mission door, and then another player had Group Invisibility (so no need to teleport each team member to an obelisk individually). Time from entering the mission to mission complete couldn't have been more than 5 minutes.

Is there ANYONE who ran the Cavern of Transcendence Trial as the first Trial/TF they were exposed to? Even before xp smoothing, patrol xp, and a repeatable contact in the Hollows, I had to try to unlock Karsis as a contact. Getting to Julius the Troll before lv15 is no problem. Avoiding gaining 3 levels during his mission arc so that you can be introduced to Talshak the Mystic is.

Besides, I suspect that the Minions of Igneous combined with a 90-minute timer and a door in the middle of the Tunnels of the Trolls (all at max lv15) is a far greater threat to the success of the trial than an 8-man simultaneous click.

If you write with a modicum of tact and taste, people won't know. If you write a Mary Sue/Marty Stu, people will assume.
  13. More specifically, any tip drop you get while at a full alignment meter will be a morality mission (so you could start 3 morality missions at once). But on completion of a morality mission are of your tips are discarded (so you can't complete all three in a row).

The story takes an entirely different turn if you know the whole thing. NewSouth Books is printing the alternate version so that students in schools which have banned Tom Sawyer/Huckleberry Finn (the altered edition contains both stories, and Tom Sawyer is edited in two spots, as well) may have the opportunity to study it.

It's not the publisher that's trying to be PC, the publisher is trying to get the book into schools that are being PC.

Full of people in the cities and Battle Isles, a smattering here and there in the minor outposts, and crowds paying to be run through missions in the end-game outposts. Not so much changed.

If anything, they're biding their time for GW2, or working on stuff for the Hall of Monuments so that they can get the Champion of the Gods title (and all of the titles, equipment, pets, and minipets that come before it) in GW2. (Hmm... I just noticed that simply having EotN and speaking to the NPC inside the Hall, you get half of the Heritage armor set, and if you complete a campaign, you're only missing the Heritage headgear)
  17. Though contacts usually give you a hint when they send you to a fixed door that's hidden. Such as the dig site missions from Agent G (he tells you about how Arachnos has been digging underneath Faultline), or Lars Hansen's mission into Wolf's Throat.
  18. But female characters running Agent G's arc get to have fingers for a short while! (Arachnos Disguise turns females into a Night Widow, which have fingers.)

Castle removed the Jump Speed debuff from the MM version of Shadow Fall. Of course, considering none of the other versions of Shadow Fall had the debuff, and the debuff only applied to the caster, no to other players in the area...

... I'm more impressed that you hit a Spectral Terror (twice) than you getting the enemy to work for you.

  21. They're stored on your computer, in your registry. The simplest way to change them outside of the game is using TweakCoH, though you could go hunting for them on your own (Start > Run... > "regedit" > happy hunting!) if you don't want to use any third-party software.

  23. While I agree that increased chance is better (for both KD and KB: the only thing worse than AoE KB is AoE KB on only half of the spawn), I'm not certain that the powers system is even capable of doing this.

I may be wrong and it is capable. But it's absolutely not possible with existing powers. And I somehow doubt the devs would want to make some KD powers chance-enhanceable and other not. It would only confuse matters.

Hell, you can see the attacks themselves in-game. If I recall without checking in-game, we've got [Ion Judgement], [Ion Core Judgement], [Ion Radial Judgement], [Ion Core Final Judgement], [Ion Radial Final Judgement], and repeat for Pyronic, Cryonic, and Void.
