BMT is not as strict as you make it sound to be. You will be silenced about farms, but seriously people still search for farm teams with the difficulty options?
-
Quote:I'm curious, what are you farming?40% recharge build (loli'm cheap)
footstop has 84% dmg, 83% ac, 65% rchg with a ff and armageddon proc.
and it's not an exaggeration. when you're hitting the target cap every time you cast a power while constantly at the fury cap, that's the net result.
460k xp/min with two 50s in the mission. gimme yer #s. -
Most of us are playing on the Asmodean side on Israphel, I'm not quite sure which server Champions are playing Elyos on. I haven't been playing as much lately, but can probably hop on later to get you a legion invite if you need.

I switched to Soul Mastery and loving it, Gloom allows you to take down bosses that much faster.
-
I would just be happy if they removed the damage portion of Consume and lower its recharge.

I agree with everything that you've said. Especially the endurance part, on a high recharge build you'll eat through endurance fast along with the rage and hasten crashes. Also, Consume isn't that great against a single target, I find with my SS/Fire that 2 targets get me just below 100% end.
With that said, the damage you'll put out will certainly contribute a lot to taking down an AV. KO Blow + Haymaker + Burn + Gloom (if you go that route) is really good damage against a single target, not the best, but good considering the amount of AoE hurt you can also put out. -
Umm isn't that more than what you said you made on your Brute? Or are we talking about counting ticket rolls and drops instead of pure inf/hour?
As far as what AT is better as of now, that's Brutes no questions about it. Before the Dom changes and difficulty options, I much preferred my Fire/Psi over my SS/Fire though.
Back then, my best money making farm was the nemesis platform which my Dom cleared significantly faster than the Brute (4-5 minutes opposed to 7-8 minutes). A part of the reason was that I had to herd with the Brute, but with the Dom I just popped inspirations like a mad man along with Fire Cages and the outrageous range of PSW. -
As of now I see no time conflicts with me being at the raid. I'll be able to get the shivans and nukes no problem, but will only be able to get the HVAS if there's a mothership raid beforehand.

It is great for all around play, I bring it on TFs all the time and is actually pretty decent in PvP also. Some mobs like Cimerorians is pretty squishy against since it's all resistance base, the bosses hit really hard, but you'll have a team to back you up.

SS/Fire will become a killing machine, but it does take a bit of IO investment to really boost its survivability. One of your defenses is having a good offense. The patron power set is debatable.
I've played a SS/Fire/Mu Brute for a couple of years and just have recently switched to Soul Mastery and haven't looked back. Some AoE damage was sacrificed by skipping Burn, but my overall killing speed increased. The little bit of reduced damage of Dark Obliteration is negligible since minions and LT's melt so fast regardless. And Gloom is just that good of an attack and allowed me to kill bosses much faster.
If you're planning on farming Liberate TV, the lack of Burn I've found not to be a problem. I didn't use it that much in that mission in the first place. First, by the time I locked down all of the minions and LT's they'd all pretty much be dead. Also, I didn't like it for Fake Nemesis since you have to immob them to keep them in the patch for long. It messed up the timing I had and they ended up using PFF more times than less.
With that said my SS/Fire currently sits at 92% recharge and sometime hits permahasten thanks to the FF +rech proc. Foot Stomp recharges in 5.6 seconds and Healing Flames in 11. Along with 2057 HP it can stand up by itself pretty well. -
Quote:I wouldn't doubt it.I predict a quick lock to this thread as well as a possible time-out for someone...
And Master, you're claiming your farm is so hard (which I don't know why a farm would be hard). So I decided to take my only farmer blue side which is not softcapped to what we're fighting and didn't find it that difficult, that is all. -
I just ran your farm with my Spines/Fire, it wasn't that difficult.
-
UI is too cluttered for my tastes.

Someone was silenced in a private channel. What's the big deal? Champion is living up to the name of the drama server like always.
-
Like others said, I would certainly go melee defense first, but you can still manage to get around 20% ranged defense if you do. Which I advise to get.

Epic guides are epic. Was a nice read.

I've lead both the yellow taunt and spike teams before, but I have long respec'd out of taunt on my brute so the taunt teams out of the question (I'm sure Net can pick that up if he can attend). With that said, I can lead the yellow spike team if needed, but since this is a nuke run I assume it will only be needed for the first wave?
Although, since the proposed raid is still a few weeks away I can't be certain I can attend as of now, but will know better when the date gets closer. Oh and I got a SS/Fire. -

Thanks for the effort Cherry, it was my first time doing a hero Hami raid in a while. I know how things can get pretty chaotic especially when people don't listen and follow directions.
Just realized, I've been at more villain hami raids than hero raids this year....crazy. -

Farm some Rikti, you'll laugh at their mostly energy damage.

Honestly? Roll what you think would be most fun. WP will be a great, easy secondary to solo with it. It's a very passive set so all you need to do is toggle on and go to town. As far as the Dom goes, Mind/Fire is really good and great for soloing also (Mind in general is great). Wait till you get to 50 and you can achieve permadom which will make most PvE content trivial.
