In my experience with the markets you don't have the situation as described in the OP very often (level 50 proc IO being the highest price available), but quite the opposite. The reason for this, I've always assumed, is that people who want an IO earlier to slot on a lowbie will pay a premium vs. waiting until the toon is at least 47 so a level 50 IO can be slotted.
Perhaps -KB is something that lowbies aren't as interested in as other proc effects? I'm not sure why the level 50 IOs would be selling for a premium, that seems very odd to me. -
These 5, plus the newest from the past week's Hero Con (Praetorian Clockwork) represent the 6 exclusive costume codes that have been released to date.

Quote:RE: "double-dipping" accolades.Link please.
Pretty sure I heard the contrary like a day or 2 ago, but knowing for sure is always nice.
I heard this statement out of Posi's mouth in person. He said that there would be NO double-dipping of accolade powers (emphasis mine).
I emphasize the word "powers" because some people have taken that statement to be proof that a toon's exclusive-to-faction badges disappear upon changing to the opposite faction, but I don't believe it says anything of the sort. It MIGHT be that way, but this is only a statement regarding powers derived from accolades the way I hear/read it. -

Quote:No, I believe you must purchase one of the complete versions of the game software (see the NCSoft store for various options) in order to gain access to the full game (unless you've already done so).yup i have the game i downloaded it and i have a trial game account correct me if im wrong but all i need to have is the game time card to upgrade my account???
Good luck and welcome to the best MMORPG out there! -
Quote:It's not clear to me that this was occurring. I watched the presentation live (and from a pretty close seat), and there was no targeting reticle present, so it was impossible to tell whether the Praetorian Clockwork conned gray to the player or not.Enemies not attacking until attacked (like the praetorian clockwork) is new to this game. normally if something can attack you, it will (unless it cons gray of course).
If they DO manage that change to the aggro system in GR (and further, perhaps propogating it into Paragon and the Rogue Isles at a later time), it'll be a really neat change. -

Quote:Yes, I'm aware of the powers' attributes. I recall reviewing the lists in detail (obvoiusly I missed the Inherent Powers list), and could swear that I found the others on the "Temporary Powers" page listing, but clearly none of them are present on that list. In retrospect, I have no idea what I could have been looking at.It's not a temp power. It doesn't have a matching Halloween Event drop (just like Praetorian Clockwork costume does not). It's a permanent power, listed under Inherent Powers, thus it is on the Inherent Powers list.

Quote:Yes, I realized this was the PAX 2009 giveaway when I bought it at Hero Con.Ring Mistress Costume from the 2009 PAX.
I checked the wiki before posting -- was this reference added within the past few days? (I checked the temp powers list, and found the other giveaways listed, but not this one.) -
Actually not confirmed. There was just some "ninja" banter, and Sexy Jay snuck some silhouetted figures into his presentation that resembled that type of character, with a sly comment about something "soon".
So while it seems logical that the next booster will have something to do with ninjas either directly or indirectly, it's still just broad hints and winks, and it could be that the ninja stuff is only a part of the booster contents. -

Quote:Oh yes, THIS. I could never STAND having to replace SOs every 3-5 levels, it was a real pain (and I know at least one person who quit the game because of having to do that -- a teensy bit of an extreme reactionI hated SOs when they were all we had and I haven't slotted once since I9 delivered us from their tyranny.
). IOs were a godsend as far as I'm concerned, and I either run with IOs or, in emergency situations, quickly-purchased SOs that are only temporary (like, for 1 TF I happened to stumble into before a toon has been IO'd out).

Quote:Do you mean the Carnival Harlequin costume (from 2008 Hero Con)? I'm not aware of any temp costume power (permanent or Halloween Trick or Treat event-related) for a Carnival Ring Mistress (but that would be VERY cool!).I desperately want a Ring Mistress code for a Going Rogue character concept I have (missed last night's, sadly
).

Quote:33, I believe (at least that's how many are documented in the wiki). More info on the ToT article there.By the way, since this wasn't addressed, the temp power is a costume power, there are dozens of them (not sure exactly how many)...

Quote:No, not as much as Virtue, but we like it that way, thanks. That said if I hit up Victory (which I do periodically) its not nearly as packed but hardly dead i can still get teams.
Since I16 I can say that in my experience, global activity on Victory has been equal to (in some cases) or greater than (in most cases) it was prior to I16. -
Quote:Yes, the nearly identical issue happened for my main account a few months back -- I've NEVER had it lapse since I began it in 2005, and all of a sudden I was 5 weeks off what SHOULD have been my correct rewards cycle. It seems that my total paid time and veteran rewards times are both one month off. Anyone got any thoughts or have seen this before?
I contacted Customer Support and (eventually) my correct rewards cycle was restored. Best of luck getting yours sorted out! -
Quote:Yup, I was on that team with GP, and after much trial and error, I think it's pretty clear (at least to me) that the way to do it is to send 1/4 of the team to each of the 4 Banners like GP explains. I've tried it both ways (entire team sticking together initially, or splitting into 4 mini-teams initially), and this way seems to work even with only 1 team in the zone.Anyway, I figured it out from the posting here, and a team I just did it on. Make sure every flag is covered (and while you can do this with one team, you're probably not going to get all the way through the GM with just one team in zone), and defend it. Once the banners are vulnerable, focus on one at at time (make sure one person in the zone is calling the shots, otherwise it's a no-go). After that, you should see a range to the GM in yoru compass... the number will get higher the farther from him you go, and smaller the closer you get. Disperse and find him, and the more people you have, the faster he is. Worked well, and you can make sure everyone gets the badge that way, as well.
