I haven't played the game with sound after the 3rd month of having but. I heard from a friend that there is 3D sound in the options now and figured i'd give it ago. i have a 5.1 sound system for my comp but the 3D sound option says N/A. Does anyone have any idea why i can't run 3D sound?

I had my last night, picked it up at teh walmart. Stances are meh, but i really do like the costumes. Omega is freakin' crazy though.

To date in 2010, CoH/V revenues are well down on year-on-year comparisons. Q1 and Q2's combined revenues are about US$5.8m vs Q1 / Q2 2009's US$10.3m. Although Q2's revenue is slightly up on Q1's, I'm putting that down to GoRo pre-order dollars and there may be an exchange rate effect (US$ improved against the KRWon, so that every $ is worth more Won).
Saying that CoH/V generated about US$2.9m in Q2 2010 sounds like a lot, but it really depends about their expenses over the same time period.
(All US$ could be a bit out due to differences in exchange rate calculations, but I believe they are roughly accurate.)
Here's the link to the quarterly figures. Most interesting in there is that Richard Garriott's court payout appears to have knocked over about 50% of NCsoft's expected income for the Q2 2010 period. -

I did notice as well as others that there were a lot of typos in the article. But my focus was mainly on the graphs.

It really should be noted that the GTX 460 768mb is no where near as good as the 1gb version of the card. The 1gb version out performs the 5830 and is only about 4-8 fps less than a 5850 on average. first link is for the 1gb:http://benchmarkreviews.com/index.ph...1&limitstart=7

When it comes to the video card i would recommend the gtx 460 1gb, over all its a good card and the ATI 5850 doesn't out perform it by that much and in some games the 460 out performs it. http://benchmarkreviews.com/index.ph...=558&Itemid=72 you can take a look at the benchmarking for yourself.You can also see the comparison between it and the 5770.

It was made by the original creator(s) of GTA. I tried to get beta access but never got an e-mail ='(. I hope they do like a free weekend or something trhough steam, at least to try it out.

The game looks pretty awesome. I've been interested in it since last years E3. A couple of months ago i spend a good 2 hours with my bro watching the video Dev Diaries. It has the potential to be a very cool game. Even outside of the Cops Vs Robbers aspect of it, people can make in game iteams like music and clothing and sell it in game. you don't even really need to take part in the other half of the game. I mentioned in another thread i'm very interested to see how their payment plan works out. If it works out for them i could see it moving to other games. And if you don't know you can think of their payment plan like a Go Phone or whatever carrier you want to think of, you pay for X amount of time and you get all the features of the game if you find yourself playing all the time you can spend $3 more and get unlimited 30 days.
